The moment that you step into the office to check in you realize that you are somewhere special. We were greeted with a smile and a warm hello and welcome. It's a great location just steps from the beach, it's quiet, clean, very well kept and cared for. You will find lots of little extra touches providing you with things that you didn't even know that you needed but they did! It's a great value for the money and we will absolutely visit again!!

My family and I come here every year (as long as there is no covid) between Christmas and New Years. The staff is beyond lovely. They become friends by the end of the trip. They are literally always joyful and genuinely want to help in any way possible. The rooms are super clean and come with a kitchenette which is great for little ones. The have beach chairs, toys, boogie boards all as “take as you need”. Also the beach is directly across the street. Metres away. This has been a family tradition for us and will continue to be. The main patio has a TV, amazing pool, fire place and bbq. They will also pick you up in a golf cart to take you to restaurants when it’s raining or if you want to carry groceries home. Can’t say enough great things about this resort. From amenities to staff, everything is top notch.

Clean, comfortable and oh-so convenient location!! Very friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere - just the right spot to kick back and enjoy the Lauderdale-by-the-Sea vibe. Our 1 bedroom unit had a full kitchen/dining area, living room with pullout sofa, king bed and newly renovated shower bathroom. with view of a pool and the beach (across El Mar Dr.) Daily housekeeping provided. Coffee from 7 AM To 10 AM. This was our 3rd year straight, and won't be our last visit, for sure.

Great if you want to get away from the corporate hotels. Wonderful staff, great service, great facilities in a small package across the street from the beach! We will be back, soon I hope!

Quiet and friendly, this establishment is my favorite during my stays in Florida. Lots of convenience on foot the hotel is very well located.

My husband, I and our daughters really enjoyed staying here!! We found the staff to be the most friendly we’ve ever experienced at any location we’ve ever stayed at. It was very convenient to walk into town for restaurants and it has easy access to the beach. We appreciated the free coffee in the morning and free parking pass as well. Staff and the owners were always available and really wanted you to have the best time staying there. Thank you for a fantastic experience. We would highly recommend!!!!

This place is amazing and beautiful it has 2 pools plus its a short walk to beach rooms are amazing beds comfortable small kitchen I would come back again recommended highly

Above and beyond expectations🙌🏼. Across from the beach. To the left: 2 blocks from restaurants, pizza and ice cream. To the right: Two blocks from grocery stores, pharmacy, boutiques and whatnots. The views from the resort are stunning. Luxurious rooms with all the accommodations. Two heated pools, bar area for family and friends gatherings. The staff is amazing, they don’t just throw your room key at you, they greet you and make you feel actually welcomed, they give you a tour and take you to your room. We could see the ocean from our windows. There’s an open floor on the top, with comfortable chairs where you can either watch the sunrise 🌅, or come for an evening glass of wine. BVR also offered us snorkeling gear, kayaks and paddle boards (and ☕️). Full kitchen. We couldn’t ask for more. We’re planning our next trip, this is from now on our favorite place in Fort Laudardale.

Beachside village is awesome!!!! The accommodations are beautiful and the rooms are spacious! We can’t say enough about the staff!!! The most pleasant and friendly people , not to mention how accommodating they all are!!! The location is wonderful and so many fun places that you can walk to!

We stumbled upon BVR by accident - our other hotel fell through last minute - and WOW are we thankful for that. BVR is second to none.. From the rooms, the view, the team members and all the little things they think of and have prepared for you. I have never felt more at home in a resort before. We will ONLY be booking here from now on!

My husband and his buddies come here every year in August for their fantasy football draft and rave about this place but this was the first time I was able to experience it. We only stayed here for one night b/c they were booked for the remainder of our trip. We were sad to leave. Their attention to detail is amazing. The room was so clean. Every member of the staff greeted us with a big smile and engaged in conversation, they were all so kind and helpful..from the man trimming the palm trees to the amazing women at the front desk. Having 2 pools was an added bonus. They also have beach chairs available for you to borrow. Loved the New England theme (went to school in Rhode Island). In walking distance to El Mar Cafe where we had breakfast 2 mornings and also Arubas, 101, Village Tavern, shops and ice cream shops. The owner of this hotel should run a class on how to manage a hotel...other hotels in the area need to take note.

Amazing location but what really makes the place special is the staff. From the moment we got there we felt part of BVR family. Couldn't do enough to help us. We'll be back again this year

We stayed here for my grandmother's 100th birthday. They were so wonderful setting up the events and accommodating 34 of us on the property. The hotel is perfectly set up near the town square for easy walkability, is across the street from the beach, and has plenty of great outdoor spaces/pools for the family. I highly recommend this for a family function or event. Thank you!

Our 5th visit. Enjoyed birthday and wedding engagement parties over Labor Day weekend. Excellent staff and accommodations. Two pools, cabanas, outdoor tv’s, etc., etc..

This place is a GEM!! We only stayed for a weekend getaway HOWEVER, we're planning our return next month with the family! Amazing guess service!! Everyone from the maintenance man, room service and desk clerks.. THEY'RE ARE EXTREMELY FRIENDLY ! Room cleanliness is 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟!

Our second visit with friends who rent a villa here every year. Beautifully maintained with at least two swimming pools (that I'm aware of). Relax in a private cabana or enjoy the the front porch in front of every unit. Short walk to the beach!

This is a very quaint Hotel. My cousin stayed here. I was just here visiting her but I can tell you it's very nice though. The rooms are impeccable. It came with a small kitchen. The grounds are impeccable, the pool, the courtyard. Its got a Cape Cod Massachusetts theme. And the nightly rates are really reasonable for a hotel directly across the street from the beach. I will lead anyone who comes to visit me to this Beachside Village Resort. BVR for short.

By far this is the #1 resort in Lauderdale by the sea. The staff is absolutely amazing. They're cleanliness is impeccable! Walking distance to pier, but the offer a golf cart if you can't make the walk. Just perfect!

Amazing staff! Super friendly and super clean. Room was very cute and the grounds was in great condition. You won’t regret staying here. Also super close to the beach and plenty of great areas close by to walk to.

Clean, quiet, perfect location and very nice staff. Beautiful pools, bikes, beach coolers and chairs available. My only suggestion is upgrade your beach chairs, some are pretty rusted

Well managed and cute resort right by the beach. Friendly staff and clean. Loved the cabanas and 2 pools. Would give 5 stars if they had a hot tub and either ping-pong or a pool table on the premises for guest use / entertainment. Within short walking distance to a lot of great restaurants. Overall recommend!

Wonderful experience! Incredible find! Clean rooms, kind people, close to beach, with many small touches in the room, and unique resources available to guests. We loved using the kayaks that they brought to the beach for us (free!). We used the bikes multiple times to explore the neighborhood, and appreciated the locks. We loved the easy parking by the room and the golf cart that the team used to taxi us around town. The details in the room made such a great impression we decided to extend our stay within the first 5 minutes of being there. Thank you for a great weekend.

Can’t say enough good things about BVR! We had a fantastic experience, the staff took great care of us! They went the extra mile to help me celebrate my husbands birthday! The room was fantastic and very welcoming! We will definitely be back!
