Too expensive for what they offer. Our room was small and dated. The carpet felt old and moist under your feet and the bed linen felt aged also. The toilet would not refill with water. The entrance to the hotel paints a different picture and has obviously been updated or maintained fantastically. The rooms however are below average. The staff were courteous and helpful.

Just checked out yesterday after staying four nights. I enjoyed my stay. The room did have a flat screen TV and the view is priceless. It could use some upgrading but overall my stay was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff did an amazing job at cleaning the rooms daily. The hotel has it's own private beach access, which I loved. It was nice and peaceful. Excellent deal for the price.

I stayed here for a week and for the price that I paid for my stay I don't think it matched the value of comfort and service. The rooms need to be remodeled and I was treated as if I was on the wrong side of the tracks. I guess some things will never change but even at 250 at night on a discounted rate I still think I'm paying for a certain kind of service. I didn't let that bring my stay down in Miami though. They really need to catch up with the times. After you get past their lobby and get to your room it feels like you might as well have stayed at the Holiday inn

Not a good experience. The valet guys and bellhops were brilliant. The room and hotel in general is very dated and in desperate need of a complete makeover. The rooms were filthy and poorly maintained. A very rude waiter at the restaurant downstairs refused to serve us non happy hour drinks (after blatantly serving other guests with the same) - we had children in our group. Assured all costs covered up front. On leaving we are charged for parking. We were supposed to stay 4 nights but left after one. Much better quality available throughout Miami

Loving my stay. The hotel is very conveniently located with gorgeous ocean and bay views. Staff is very friendly. The hotel does feel a bit old but that is part of its charm. The gym is 24/7 and has both sauna and steam rooms. The pool is illuminated at night and looks very inviting.

This place has the most amazing views and the food on the property is great. Well prepared and filling. However, as many others have stated the rooms are a bit outdated and could use some sprucing. The pool is nicely kept and the staff are very nice. There were so many tedious things we needed that were done immediately and without qualm. I really appreciated the assistance of the manager; he was accommodating and very nice overall. This trip could have been very different had he not done all he could to assure we were happy and enjoying ourselves.

I stayed there in 2018 and loved it and the old charm. I know they closed for renovations but I hope they did not renovate the dining where I would go to have breakfast. I loved it! I love this place but I wonder if they are done renovating. Whenever I try to look up reservations in Expedia it says there aren't any available...

customer service was poor, to check in we had to wait 10 min for another staff member to come to the reception desk to help out, while the entire time a staff member was on the Concierge area, with no client. Elevators take super long, we waited almost 20 min for an elevator. Rooms are out dated, and the spray they used to improve the rooms aroma was over bearing, my beach bags still has it smell. The bed was the old school SPRING MATTRESS!!!!!!!!!. I understand that the Hotel was the Old Doral, the reception area was beautiful and elegant but the rooms as I stated were not what I expected. The restaurant and bar staff were AMAZING!!!!!! That I can say were the highlight of our 1 night stay. For the money I paid for 1 night, I will not pay to stay there again. I get a cheaper, bigger room, more comfortable stay at the Days Inn in Oceanfront. NOT happy with my stay.

The rating for this hotel is -5. DO NOT stay at this hotel. Great location but rooms are old and dirty. Checked in and checked out in the same hour. Who is the owner of this place? The owner should be ashame. For starters the red carpet in the entry way of the hotel is disgusting and dirty. Please change it. The reception area is the best part of the hotel, so I was hopeful about the room. But nope the rooms are not clean. The floor was half clean, the curtains torn, bathroom half clean, windows had all kind of stuff on them and I didn't even want to sit on the bed or chairs. After seeing several other rooms including the so called remodeled rooms I still didn't feel comfortable staying here so we checked out and went to the Hilton. This place will take your money and give you a dirty room. UNACCEPTABLE! I cannot believe anyone could give this place a rating above a 1. If they do I would hate to see what their house looks like. Great location, potential to be a nice place someday in the future.

I love staying in this part of the city whenever I'm in town. It's peaceful, spacious and priced well if booked at the right time. I lucked out on a few occasions. There's a pool in the back. If you rather swim in the ocean, there is path that leads you straight there directly from the hotel. You're a short walk away from South Beach. I rented a moped the second time staying there. Best decision ever! You connect with the city in a special way after traveling across the bay during sunrises and sunsets. More about that later. The rooms are nice. When booking the room make sure you request a city-view room. You don't come across views like that often. Sunsets are therapy from those rooms. Breakfast is good and complimentary I believe. Uncommon for four star hotels. Well at least the ones I been to so far. With that being said, I highly recommend this place. The hotel and the surrounding area is peaceful, soothing and calming. I always felt recharged, motivated and ready to take life head on after leaving there.

Customer service is excellent from the Front desk and in the dinning area to the housekeeping!! Food is good. And the room stayed clean. The housekeeping was absolutely fantastic! The view from my room is PHENOMENAL!! The bathroom toilet is really really short, and there is no fan in the bathroom. The carpet in the room seem moist, but it didn't smell. There is direct access to the beach/pool, There is no room service, and no cable television. The workout area should be off limits until further repairs are made, as it looks unsafe. Overall with all the other hotels options, I will likely give another resort a try. I wouldn't say I'd never come back... but I'd definitely come back after updates are made.

😠 I almost never write bad reviews. But visiting this place, I feel cheated. I ordered pasta Bolognese - OH my God, it's terrible!! Not a single piece of minced meat, only raw pasta and poured with tomato sauce. How?! How can this be offered?!? After that, my stomach hurt all day. ..But the most i...
