My mom was voluntarily admitted for three days at Jackson’s ER crisis center. She told me how well she was treated while undergoing back to back panic attacks. In her crisis, she mentioned how attentive, concerned, and warm everyone that interacted with her were. They made sure she was fine; showed concern when she would not eat, and often asked if she was ok. The day she was admitted I was worried since she was not allowed to have her cellular, and I had no way of reaching her to find out her condition. The doctor attending my mother called me back that evening, and I felt a bit at ease. The following day my mother called me from the room she had been assigned to and I felt relieved. When speaking with her, she did not sound distraught by her surrounding nor by the circumstances that lead her there, but rather by how she was feeling. Thankfully, she was prescribed the right medications to help her control the attacks. In days passing after her discharge, my mother kept mentioning how well she was treated; A reminder for me to thank You All for your attentiveness, and the work you all do day in and out!!!! My mom is not a child, but when she found herself this crisis, she was as fragile and as sensitive as one. So THANK YOU ALL for your warmth, attentiveness, and care of my precious and beloved mother!!! Lastly, I want to thank James for staying on the phone with me for 12 minutes giving me directions to the center, and for walking my mother out to me.... Thank you so much!!!!

It's been over six months since we started services. The child has come a long way in Various areas particularly fine motor, reading and social skills. Kudos to the systematic interventions planned by the mental health center.

Gentlemen, be careful when making an appointment or when you go to your appointment, because they charge you before having the appointment for what you supposedly have to pay according to your insurance, but then you receive a bill from the doctor apart from what you already paid and If they do a procedure on you, whether it's removing your mucus, they also charge you separately. I paid $100 for each consultation and then I received a bill from the University of Miami for $329.97 and I called and said and asked and they didn't take it from me, after a while if I didn't pay it they sent the debt to collection, well I prefer and to other places where everything is included. The worst part is that they don't tell you when you pay what you are paying and then no one knows.

Worst hospital I’ve ever been to in Miami. You only need one person to visit someone and not the whole family like this isn’t fair.

My son was admitted last month in may they supposed to stabalized him with better medications but instead they only kept him there for 1 week and he got discharge. I couldn't visit him at that time due to covid also never had the opportunity to speak to the doctor only nurses & social worker. My son was brought back this month of july after giving a new medication that didn't work and put him worse !!! Yesterday I went to visit him and went I got upstairs and one of the staff that pick up the phone call to supposed to let me in didn't even opened the doors instead he hang up the phone knowing I was there waiting to come in because he can even see me by the glass . That was very very rude. Then I knock on the door and he still didn't do anything to help me. Another man aproach the hall way and saw me and opened the door to me and helped me. The rude staff continue in the front desk like nothing. Im looking for another crisis that better serve us for future references. Not to mention that the place is like a jungle. Besides they give very small amount of food for dinner. The food trays looks like elementary school kids tray . Place looks like third world unit, very deppressing to be a mental health facility!!! I can' t wait to get my son out of there this week!!!!!

They simply did not want to help me, I told him I've been there at least 3 times in the past for my spiritual problems and he discharged me and took other people in that came after me, this isn't fair

I have a son with severe Autism Disorder , and my experience was the best!! The assistant Yainelys was professional, knowledgeable, caring about the patients. She found me an appointment quickly with the psychiatrist. The doctors were great! They evaluated him and came up with the best treatment possible for him

My brother was there for a crisis and we specifically told them do not test for coronavirus. They still shoved the thing into his nose. Unacceptable for a mortality rate of 0.01% it's nonsense

I was calling several places and Jackson was the one who helped me the most, mainly because she is the one who works in the children's office. Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart, you are an angel.

😠 Polina Dasgupta is probably the most unprofessional person I’ve ever spoken to. I have a history of disordered eating and when she asked me my weight (telehealth) she audibly gasped and started berating me for being overweight. She told me “There is no happiness without exercise” and “getting diabet...

😠 Behavioral Health technicians that work there are all young employees that are not educated on mental illness. Also, the night shift on duty asked me to put a towel between my legs when I was on my period because she didn't want to go get more pads. I had to ask her if she could get me some because...
