Horrible experience with this place. I never saw a money minded place, I took my puppy to their place to get checked because he vomited once two days ago and hasn't been eating his food as usual but rest is fine. After checking they wanted to met get everything below. Why would a puppy that's not eating needs to get these things? Fenbendazole -- $72 its a 6 dollars medicine Cerenia injection -- $72 its 20 dollars I understand there's a process for everything, you first diagnose the problem and recommend what's needed appropriately, I personally felt like they want to get everything because they knew that anyone who visits them is not going back and they want to get as much as possible. I'd be happy if they recommended tests first or fluids, all at once doesn't make sense(why would you recommend dewormer without checking anything). I didn't want to get any service from them because I don't like people who like to make money out of a situation doesn't matter how many years you have been in business it's wrong and I hope you handle things in a better way in the future. Good luck with everything and such a shame

This place is really bad! I don’t recommend anyone. I’m not sure why you have 4.7 rating online. They just want to rip off. I went for a checkup for puppy and they wanted 900 dollars because they had to do tests. I’d happily pay that money if they See the symptoms and explain why it would make sense to do the tests. Money minded business and absolutely horrible

You can definitely find a better local vet than this place. The doctors don’t seem very knowledgeable and it feels like they are all on commission because of how pushy they are when it comes to trying to convince you that you need to spend $1000 every time you visit. I’ve never seen anything like this at other vets so I would not recommend this place. It doesn’t make any sense how they have so many 5-star reviews - must be paid for because there is no way this many people are happy with this place. If you go here watch how much they try to sell you… it’s insane! Be careful.

Scam. When a vet list treatment options by cost and ask you to choose what to do (i.e. what can you afford?), run! Never heard of using their judgement...order every test because they have to eliminate everything possible...come on. Bill always over $1,000...tests always negative. Everytime I am there someone says they cannot afford them anymore. Attitude stinks also. Mention every appointment need to get them in and out because had been severally abused before I got them recently and nothing. Took my dog away for 20 minutes, returned him having done nothing and my dog in shock, and asked why technician lied to me. Sorry, can't recommend these animal haters (in it only for the money in my opinion - not even same owners in picture and old reviews).

We recently moved to the area and I was nervous about finding a new vet, but the folks at central Broward were great! Dr Lezcano took her time with us and was great with my girl. My girl was scared of the table so she completed the exam on the floor where my girl was more comfortable.

I have been going here for years and have always had a wonderful experience, from the front staff, to the techs, and especially Dr. Lara Ohms. They are caring and professional, always on time and I and my two dogs are always treated with kindness and respect. I most definitely recommend them.

Our little coon had an ear infection, and the treatment we received was very kind and knowledgeable.

Such a warm, friendly and calming space to bring your pet. Our first visit with Dr. Cici was just lovely. Buffett, our Australian Mountain Doodle felt right at home and so did we. We felt the genuine care and love they have for animals immediately. Going back tomorrow for a follow up visit. So happy to have this place to take our pup too and ever so grateful that it is walking distance from our home. How lucky are we?

I put my first review in 5 years ago, today is 9/28/2023 and we will enjoy going to Central Broward Animal Hospital. Sadly both Wimpy (Chihuahua) and Skippy Jon Stinkface (cat) have passed away. But Marley (Sheba Inu) is now a happy customer. .

If I could give 1,000 stars, I would. Dr. Lezcano is the absolute best!!! She took such amazing care of our dog Rockie! So patient and compassionate. Dr. Oms, who took care of our dog Sugar Ray, was also fantastic! Both dogs got really sick at the same time and they did everything possible to make sure everyone got better (and they did)!!! Last but not least, the staff is also incredible!!! So kind and caring. We are incredibly appreciative of everyone's efforts. I would highly recommend Central Broward Animal Hospital! It is the best.

All of the vets are wonderful, but I'm especially fond of Dr. Oms who has a great bedside manner not only with my dog but with me. She really cares about the whole family. The care my dogs have received is the best possible care and they always give options to help with financial decisions. The latter is a big help since I didn't buy pet insurance when they were younger. The only this I wish were different is that they provided emergency care. The closest very ER, called Advanced won't allow you to be with your pretty when they are examined. Central Broad ALWAYS slowed you too be with your furr baby.

Been using Central Broward for 2 years now. I absolutely love all of the vets there. All so patient and helpful. Especially Dr. Oms and Dr CC. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. I trust them with my dog’s care and that’s what’s most important. It’s super hard to find good vets you can trust but we found our place!

At first I thought this was a great place to take your pup, but it seems like things have changed. They are now obligating you to make sure your puppy has been examed -by them- in order to get a NAIL TRIM. I’ve been coming here for over 3 years including 3 months ago & it’s never been an issue for them to trim my puppy’s nails. I understand the having to be up to date with his exams (which he is, but they would’ve known that had they simply just asked), but for you to just deny his services without evening asking if he’s been somewhere else for a check up is really annoying because to me it seems like they’re just finding ways to make more money. A year ago they denied him because his rabies shots weren’t up to date and I understand that, so what did I do? I made an appointment with them and did it right then and there, no biggie, & I would’ve done the same today had he not been up to date with his medical stuff. One thing is someone being cheap and not supporting , but I’m far from that & that’s very known - I just can’t support a business that just wants to find more things to add to your bill just to make more money, it’s a shame, id never do that to any of my clients

We have a 145 lb Cane Corso & have tried 6 different vets in his two years. We tried Central Broward for the first time & no one has treated him or us the way that Dr. Oms and the staff at Central Broward did. In the past, vets have forced us to muzzle him before even allowing him in the office just based on his breed. They have refused to work on him & just "examined" him from across the room without ever even touching him. However, from the moment we got there, Dr. Oms & her staff treated him so well & took time to understand him. They took him in the back to examine him without us, understanding he might be protective with us there. When they brought him back, he was so happy and relaxed! When Dr. Oms came back in the room, our dog immediately ran to her and they were on the ground playing together, while he covered her in kisses. This has never happened before at other vets. She was so thorough & rather than just writing it off as seasonal allergies, giving him a shot and going on our way, she took the time to rule out other possibilities and set us up with a plan to handle & monitor his symptoms. The staff was so kind & appreciated our big baby for who he really is. Thank you Dr. Oms & staff for our first pleasant experience at the vet with our big guy!

I was actually pretty surprised going here. I wasn't expecting much after a slightly traumatizing event at VCA, and this was closer for an emergency she had. The moment that we went in, the office was a welcoming, bright, calming environment. There's a massive fish tank with a huge rescue turtle in it who's very photogenic. There's drinks and food offered. Lost pet signs are posted clearly to help the community. The front ladies are actually really helpful and kind. As for the visit itself, I wasn't expecting my cat to be as calm as she was when she went in. Ebony has a tendency to freak out in new places, and she never really had her tempt checked before, so I expected claws to come flying out when they did. Instead, she was given her temp with the least amount of fear I have ever seen, accompanied by 2 just in case, and afterwords immediately offered a treat! She was then even allowed to explore the room, which, She did with ease and without fight, which, really surprised me. She loves staying in her cage in new places. She really seemed to like the vet and the tech, I did too. I wish I could have afford all the recommended treatments for her, but next time.

Central Broward was recommended to us as first time puppy parents and I'm happy to say we have had phenomenal care since bringing our 9-week old puppy home. The front desk crew is friendly and efficient, the vet techs (shout out to Rachel, Dawn and Shernard) have treated our babygirl with SUCH great care. Dr. Lezcano and Dr.Cassels-Conway are amazing vets and I will continue to trust them with necessary services. It feels like our puppy is a pet of their own. We will continue to recommend this Animal Hospital to other pet owners!

I got my first puppy in December and I needed to find him a vet to get all his puppy shots and a general checkup. I knew I wanted a place that would take good care of him and was reasonably priced. After lots of internet searches and reading reviews, I decided to go with Central Broward Animal Hospital. We had our second visit today, and I have concluded that I made the right choice! As a disclaimer, they do offer a $5 coupon for leaving a Google review, but everything I write is my opinion and I will be fully transparent! 2 weeks ago, Arthur went in for his standard puppy vaccinations and a checkup. Like most dogs, he is not too enthusiastic about being in new places, so it took some effort to get him inside the office. The women at the front desk were very friendly and patient with us, and the vet nurse was an angel. I loved that everyone we interacted with was patient and kind. There are smiling faces everywhere, and it is a guarantee that at least one person will play with your pet (it shows they love their jobs!). The nurse (I wish I knew her name) and Dr.Oms were both very pleasant and gentle when they examined Arty and administered his shots. Lots of treats and cuddles were involved! During today's visit for his booster shots, we saw a different nurse and Dr.CeCe. Again, they were both sweet and he took his vaccine's like a champ. As a recent college grad, I was worried about the price of vet care. I do not know what the norm is for checkups and puppy vaccines, but I included my receipt to show folks what I paid. Of course every dog is different and goes to the vet for different reasons, but I figured it'd help someone to see what their prices are like. Also, they mailed a handwritten welcome card! I was pleasantly surprised. I will definitely be returning to Central Broward, I highly recommend!

I originally brought my cat Grayson here for an issue with his eye. Every vet and employee at this location is amazing. Although his condition requires a specialist they did more than I ever expected to try and help resolve his eye ulcer. They have helped me more than I can ever express. They have treated Grayson as if he was their own and I will continue to come to them for all of his needs.

Our dogs absolutely love this place! We’ve been coming here for 7 years & it’s the only place I’ll go. The vets & staff are very helpful & friendly. It is always spotless and our dogs feel like they’re at the spa with the calming classical music they play. 10/10!

I wish they did people here too! My husband has been taking our puppy here for several months (I never usually go because I am at work). Yesterday we had an evening appointment, so I finally got to go. This place is amazing. First of all, they have a counter with complimentary snacks, beverages, and dog treats in the waiting room. Also they have a really cool rescue turtle in the waiting room too. My puppy loves Dr. Oms. It must be some kind of aura or energy that Dr.Oms has that makes her attract animals. Maybe she sprays herself with dog pheromones (just kidding). I have never had a vet that my pets are happy to go to before. We hope to go here for years to come!

Awesome stuff!!! My dog is very scared of the vet clinics but as soon as she sees her doctor she wiggles her tail and gets very happy. They treat animals awesome and very professional

UPDATE: The owner responded to me and apologized for what happened. Apparently there were new staff members who got confused about why we were there. The clinic kindly refunded me to make things right. That really changes my opinion about them and I may consider going back. It makes me happy to know they care. I’m honestly kind of bummed. I went to the same vet in Miami for 12 years and may just make the trek back since I know they are honest and not just trying to swindle you. I felt swindled after leaving this vet. They were all super nice, don’t get me wrong. I took my 4.5 month old puppy in for his last bordetella, which we left without. I was told it was $32, nail trim included if we wanted it and NO VISIT FEE. When we went in the room, I did mention he has diarrhea due to a food change while I was away in Greece. I did not ask for a visit or a check up or any testing. Nothing. The tech left and came back wanting a stool sample, then the vet came in. The next thing I knew, I had a $250 estimate in my hand. One of the $50 probiotics was $23 on Amazon which I was able to order straight away. It just made me really angry because they should be transparent about what they are doing BEFORE they do it. I don’t mind spending the money to make sure my dog is healthy, but that is NOT why we went in. I was planning on trying a few things myself before seeking vet intervention if need be. Now he is on a medication for 30 days. That’s crazy. It’s a food change, not a parasite or severe infection. Now I’m afraid to stop the medicine even though I really don’t want to administer it. I feel like it is needless. Again, very upset. They also never sent me home with the stool collection cup for the test they pre charged me for since they were unable to gather any stool.

Their staff is fantastic. I love their doctors, always concerned about my pet’s health. They have even called after hours to check on us! Not many Veterinarians do that! I love Dr. Lezcano she’s awesome

We’ve been using Central Broward Animal Hospital for a few years ago and wish we had found them even sooner! Dr. CC and the rest of the team have provided wonderful care for my dog and new cat. They always explain everything thoroughly and I feel like my fur babies are in good hands! The front desk is always attentive in person and prompt with phone calls. The nurse team you can really tell love their jobs. I can’t recommend Central Broward enough.

I was in a bind as my vet was out of my dog’s prescribed diet. I was going down the google search list calling different offices and was so relieved when I called Central Broward Animal Hospital and they had it available! The customer service I received both times I called was fantastic. Thank you so much!

Great atmosphere, front staff is friendly and welcoming. The doctors/vets are amazing with the animals. I have been using them since I moved to Plantation 7 years ago and wouldn't want to go anywhere else with my dogs.
