Absolutely terrible. I had a birthday this past weekend. I was trying to get into the lounge with my friend. We were waiting in front of the line for over an hour. The lady who wore a weird hat with terrible sense of fashion her name is Natalie. She would completely ignore my friend and I at the door. She would let anyone in who didn’t even stay at the hotel and didn’t even get a table inside. She is a discrimination to anyone who isn’t tall and doesn’t look appealing to her. My friend and I were completely dress up with make up and heels and even looked more presentable than the people she let in. But since we were the shortest and looked the youngest (btw we are 28 years old) we even showed our ids to the security guard. We even tipped him $20 to get in and right when we almost got inside the door the rude lady Natalie pushed my friend and I away. She literally touched us. After this terrible incident I will no longer be coming to this hotel ever again. I will even file a report on her for discriminating and putting her hands on my friend and I. I literally felt like she treated us like trash. She even kept lying in the beginning saying it’ll be a couple of more minutes to get it but at the end she ignored and denied my friend and I after waiting for over an hour. Apparently she’s been working there for two years. The valet and people at the lobby informed my friend and I that she received a lot of complaints. Hopefully the hotel management will realize that they should get rid of her. You should not have someone so rude, disrespectful, and dishonest to others. I wish I could give this a 0 star. The worst experience and traumatizing experience I’ve ever had at south beach.,

I Had the absolute worst experience at the door of this place than anywhere else in my life. We were celebrating my birthday and also my husband and I’s anniversary. We had just came from having a $5000 dinner, I probably would not have minded spending the same or more if I would have been let in the door. There is a girl Who works your front door, who sized me and my party up as if we were peasants and with pleasure denied us access into the living room. I’ve never seen anyone in my life take so much pleasure in having the power to deny people into somewhere. Sometimes people let power get to their heads And that can really hinder the success of your establishment. I offered to pay any kind of minimum for a table or access in, where she replied “it’s not about the money.” I’m sorry, but if it is not about the money then I do not understand what you guys are in business doing or why she is working. The point of your establishment is to profit money. And that evening because of the ignorance of your door host you lost out on a lot of it. Not to mention my cousin frequently recommends people here, clients and friends, as she will no longer be recommending anyone to this establishment moving forward. I don’t appreciate the judgment and disrespect that I was given, especially on a day when I am out celebrating. It is extremely unprofessional and you should really hold a higher standard of the people that you chose to employ at your establishment. You nor she have any clue the level and caliber of people in which you have neglected. Surely word of this will be spread throughout our community.

“Sheemonee” the “manager” or “in charge” of this bar made me the worst night out ever, I was with a party of 4 at the living bar enjoying the night but this “ employee “ had an attitude with us, it seems like personal, this aggressive, totally unprofessional behavior employee had my reservation for all of us and then she told ( we already made an order of starters and drinks) us that one of us was with a sweater and is not allowed to use that kind of clothes ( Hugo Boss sweater) at the bar. This employee is racist and out of it. I had to leave the bar so frustrated disappointed and embarrassed with my friends. She and the hotel doesn’t show the Miami hospitality

Mostly wonderful venue and ambience which, unfortunately, was ruined by the unpleasant woman at the door. I have had many pleasant and festive evenings at the Living Room bar at Casa Faena over the years. This one left a lot to be desired. The woman at the door sized us up like she was smelling something rotten and after much ado, insisted that she would let us in but only for drinks (standing room only, we would not be allowed to sit at the couches). Sections were roped off leaving seats empty for the entire 2+ hours we were there. Totally pretentious and lost a lot of it's charm and appeal, as far as I'm concerned.

I had a cocktail for myself and my coworker had one, for two drinks in total. They kept my card and I didn’t close out (big mistake) and I woke up to HUGE charge on my card that was an even dollar amount, and when I went back to get my card the next day neither the venue nor hotel of course had my card. Victim of fraud and this place (and more specifically one of their employees) is to blame. Beautiful venue and great atmosphere, so it sucks that I have to bring this to attention. Also the bouncer is on an ego trip nightly but that’s something I could probably get over. Would be four stars otherwise..

Sad to post this. They didn’t let me in to the bar because I wasn’t wearing high heels, even though I just dropped $300 at their Cabernet. The hostess pulled me aside to say my strappy black FLAT sandals were the problem. Never mind that I was dressed up for a Friday night, had hair and nails done, was wearing a dress, but have orthopaedic problems preventing me from wearing high heels. It’s just really depressing that this is how we still objectify women in 2023 just based on footwear. Wow.

Living Room is my home away from home! It embodies everything I would have happening in my own living if it was as large and had a bar and restaurant in it. It is the classiest place to just chill and hang out enjoying the better things in life. Everyone the is someone you would like to actually want to meet a d have a conversation with. It is everything I look for in a night out without the kids.

Fabulous establishment reminds me of the late Rose Bar in New York. Great music, great food, and great vibes. It's a coveted spot so you've got to have resos or be very smooth to find your way in. Once your inside you'll enjoy the crowd and the atmosphere. I went during Art Basel and it was epic!

Great place for a drink with live music. Cocktail prices are as high as New York (or higher). The host was friendly and the bartender too. Not too many places to sit (if any available). We were there on a Thursday evening around 11pm - recommend making a reservation or showing up early to avoid any lines - dress up too. Recommended.

It was okay at best. The bouncers are not kind at all. We were 3 couples, and we had to hit him off with $100 so he could let us in, and SURPRISE, the place was EMPTY! Besides that experience, everything else is swell. It's a Great looking venue and good drinks!

We went to Los Fuegos for dinner (which was great!) and decided to stay for another drink after dinner. We noticed before dinner the hostess and security guard being a little pretentious towards a couple who wanted to enter to enjoy the live music and they couldn't because of their dress code. When we went to get drinks (ordered red wine) the bartender was upset because it was last call and dumped the nearly empty bottle wine in three glasses unevenly and stormed to get another nearly empty bottle and poured the rest of it out to try to even it out. I was wearing a light coloured dress and the wine stained it because of the poorly poured wine, it was dripping off the wine glass! I asked the bartender for soda water and she gave me the evil eye like it was my fault. She clearly wanted us to settle up asap and be gone. Not the best experience for such all it's hype.

This place gets lively at night with the live band. People let loose even though its a classy joint. You can come to people watch or enjoy the music. Both are great. You are bound to see a celebrity or 2 if you are into that. The drinks are overpriced but you pay for the atmosphere. Fun place and a must try when in Miami. When it gets busy they only allow hotel guests and people with reservations in so beware. Cool spot overall.

The reason for my 4 stars is the exceptional live band "Los wizzards " which gave a remarkable performance that made our experience unforgettable. The whole audience was wowed! Otherwise, the decor and ambience are good.

The so called sanatra singer was terrible. Only sang a few songs then took 30 minute break. Then sang other performers songs. Very much about himself. Want to hear Sinatra? Goto Boston.

Very rude girl at the front door in funny hat. She acted like it is her place and she is a big boss. Spoiled all impression of hotel Faena. Will never stay there again.

“The Living Room” @ Faena. Even though I’ve had a great experience in the past at this place, I’m very disappointed about my last visit. Last night, 12/30/22 a girl friend and I wanted to stop by their bar for a drink, only to be mistreated by their host, who was extremely rude to us for no reason. It’s completely understandable the fact that the establishment was operating under reservations and for hotel guests only, but this message should have been communicated to us in a professional and respectful manner. It’s very sad that such a well-known and luxurious establishment is hiring unprofessional staff to represent them. This type of staff badly represents the launge at Faena and unfortunately, they even badly represent Miami, in the eyes of the tourists visiting us. Faena’s (The Living Room's) management team should get hands on regarding this matter since seems like this is not an isolated case. I’ve read some bad reviews for similar issues online. Customer service should be a priority!

Beautiful restaurant and lounge but I wouldn't go back. I had lunch there : an entre and a small steak and two drinks for $177 (no desert, one person). Food is ok but price is crazy given the quality. I guess I am paying for service ? Nope. A bit slow and disorganized (sorry but I'll be picky at that price level). I found myself frequently asking for my waiter despite the fact the place was almost empty. Plenty of better places to eat around there.

I and my friend had lunch at Tree of Life, Faena Hotel, Miami ( listed as Livingroom). I just bought a gorgeous apartment and wanted to share and celebrate this special moment with my friend. I had a great experience at Faena before, so I decided to take my friend from NY there to share the joy and especially treat her with the cauliflower dish that I tried there before. All our excitement got destroyed fairly soon after we ordered the first rounds of drinks and some appetizers: 1. Our server, Kunika, pushed on us the artichokes dish, even though we were planning to order the cauliflower. The dish was incredibly disappointing. When she asked us how it was, we were honest and informed about it politely. We did not ask her to remove it from the bill. She never did remove it, even though it was more than disappointing. 2. My friend asked for a glass of a particular wine that cost 14$, but Kunika brought another one that cost 18$. 3. While we were eating, some woman, that looked more like a cleaning lady, not a server, was trying to take our plates, forks and knives, and glasses away without even asking. We got tired of telling everyone that we were still working on our drinks and meal. 4. After the first set of dishes, she took away my fork. Another server said he would bring the new one, and he never did. Then someone else brought another dish, and I asked for a new fork from that server. This other server said that he would bring it, and he never did either. We both had to sit and stare at the food, trying to get someone's attention to bring me the fork that they never really had to take away. 5. When we ordered the food, we asked for some bread or anything else to dip in the sauce. It took them ages to bring us some chips. In the meantime, we had to watch the plate like a hawk deflecting multiple attempts to take it away. And by the way, as soon as they brought us some chips and we had just a couple, the servers started their attempts to take those chips away as well! 6. She asked us to provide one card for the tab, we told her straight from the beginning that we will want to split the check, so take two cards. But no! She ended up pretending she charged two cards… we even signed two separate checks, but imagine our surprise when only one card got charged! 7. And by the way! The service charge of 20% was included in the bill, and we could not have opted out of it. We paid in total a 20% tip for an egregious service. Terrible service! We do not recommend it to anyone!

I called the day before to make a reservation for my husband’s birthday and the lady over the phone confirmed me it was good. I arrived tonight to the Living and the doorman told us that we don’t have a reservation. The manager (a lady) came outside, she let to get into the place “the friend of the daughter of the friend” and she told us that we couldn’t find our reservation. The lady was very rude and she let me talk by myself. We had some drinks in the rooftop of the Gitana and dining in the Mexican restaurant, both belongs to Faena. We spent a decent amount of money in both. Nevertheless the Living don’t care about and at the end everything is FAENA. I do not recommend this place at all. Very rude.

One of the most memorable experiences from my vacation in Miami Beach. My boyfriend secured our reservation by calling the front desk, receiving the manager’s email, and then getting a confirm email a few days later. The experience felt exclusive and elite from the moment we walked in. The bouncer spoke to the floor manager who checked the guest list and then let us in. Prepare for the cocktails to be a splurge but sipping them in the atmosphere will make it worth it. Our waitress was very gracious and recommended the Colombian Passion. That was definitely my favorite of the 3 I tried. My boyfriend’s favorite was the Burbon cocktail. It started out with a DJ playing classy jazz music that totally fit the feel. Then a live band started around 9:30. It’s worth taking a lap around the ground afterwards to see the gold wholly mammoth. My photo really does not do the Living Room justice!

Faena Hotel is a beautiful place. Definitely a must visit location in Miami. We dropped in for drinks at The Living Room. So nice to enjoy a well designed environment that delivers a proper cocktail. Richard was an Ace, handling the room like a true pro and insuring the vibe was correct. We will definitely be returning for more fun and dinner next time.
