This place has very patient and kind staff that clearly love the animals in their care. They will take the time to explain how to do the best thing for your pet and they don't push unneeded services. Their prices are very reasonable and they are even open on the weekends. I can't imagine a single way they could be better. Plus, I met this adorable cutie in the waiting area.

My experience was beyond my expectations, all the staff were excellent assisting me with my pet emergency situation, they save her life and also after that my Chloe require a physiological stabilization and they respond quickly today she is heading to a full recovery. Thanks to the Drs and technicians they really took care with love and passion to this 12 years old chihuahua

I have been coming to this hospital since I rescued my dog, Pebbles. Every time that I bring my pet I always feel like home. Dr.Perales and Dr. Ramos are both exceptional. They take care of your animals like if they were their own. The hospital is always very neat and the entire staff is willing to help. You can see that they have passion for the animals. Pebbles loves the treats that they give him every time.

I’ve been coming here for years and my pups and I love it! They are excellent and cater to their specific needs. I have 2 big dogs, one being aggressive and they always make sure other animals aren’t in the waiting room. I never have to wait long to see the doctor, the nurses and staff are super kind and friendly.

They’ve treated my cocker spaniel for 14 years now with the most love and care possible. My dog was really bad with her allergies and Dr Perales and Dr Ramos were so helpful and kind , my dog is doing great after the treatment , thank god i had them close to my house. The staff are angels , they work super hard to take care of my baby , after the treatment my dog is doing great thanks to the wonderful doctors . They really have a heart for animals , you just have to see how they treat their own pets and you’ll know how they will treat yours .

This has to be the best hospital in town. I don’t have words to describe the attention of the doctors. From the receptionist Clarice and Anita to the technicians Damian to the doctors Perales and Ramo everyone was so kind and willing to help. After going to 3 clinics with no answer for my baby, the doctors were able to operate on my baby. Forever will be thankful ! 😘

Came here with my first cat the And they made my experience super enjoyable from the moment I walked in I brought my cat at 6 months and they did everything from her shot and her spay, they also helped me adopt a baby kitten that I’m in love with please come to this clinic the doctors here know what they’re doing and the staff is lovely I RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

Cannot say enough good things about this clinic! Dedication, passion and totally exceptional customer service is how West Miami Animal Hospital can be described. Both Dr. Perales and Dr. Ramos have a very professional work ethic and care deeply about their furry patients. When I took my little yorkie in because he was having digestive issues they suggested a treatment plan that would help figure out what was going on. They were they able to get to the root of his problem, colitis. They were open to answering all of my questions and concerns, they also went over the results of the tests that were done. They did follow up calls to make sure my baby was doing ok the day after, and they do so after every visit. I will continue taking him to this clinic because I know he will be in good hands. And regarding their staff, receptionists as well as the techs there are very efficient and friendly!

Unless you’ve got money to throw away on people who don’t know what they’re doing, do not bring your pet here. I was charged $600 for a dental cleaning for my dog which I stupidly paid, only to come back for the same procedure two years later to be charged $1500 for literally the same exact thing. When I looked at the bill, it’s clear that they’re just tacking on a ton of extra, unnecessary stuff to rack up the price. When I asked the doctor why the price had jumped so drastically, all he did was go down the bill and list the price of everything instead of providing any real explanation. I then proceeded to ask the doctor if I could just get the simple cleaning and mandatory x-rays and bloodwork (which like im not a doctor but I don’t understand how getting x-rays of my dog’s heart had anything to do with her getting her teeth cleaned but whatever) and he quoted me $958 for the once $600 procedure. They told me it was expensive because they needed to be “gentle with my dog” which I didn’t realize was something that I needed to pay a premium for instead of it being like basic human decency. Needless to say, I walked right out. On that same note, about a year ago I took my dog to get treated for a leg injury and paid over $1000 just for her to get misdiagnosed by these doctors. We took her to another vet and her leg was treated and quite literally fixed for $400. This place is purely in the business of ripping people off.

They answer all questions and treat you with the most care and compassion. Now about Dr. Ramos, if you want the best care for your furry baby she is the one to go to! Since she saw my little Bruno she was very considerate and caring about my little pet. She was very detailed about my pet’s needs and helped with everything he needed.
