Enjoyed a delicious dinner here with mouth watering French food in a classy atmosphere . Jean-Marc is a wonderful waiter and was extremely informative about the menu . Some items on the menu that I enjoyed were the cucumber soup with was delicious and fresh as well as the Hazelnut Escargot which was warm and flavorful . This restaurant is must for anyone looking forward for a sophisticated dinner with many wonderful options !

I love this place! The atmosphere is very romantic, cozy and perfect for a date. I appreciate that they use real candles and not the ones with batteries. This restaurant is also good for families reunions. The quality of food is excellent. I had fish (trout). Good flavor and fresh. They put butter on the top, but is not a cheap one, so the flavor is different. Oysters are fresh, and they come in small sizes. The "frites", the meat with french fries and very delicious. Is not the regular french fries that you esta in other places. The menu has a good variety of food, like: caviar, fish, meat, fish, pizza, burger and pasta. The wine menu is small, but good. Design and decoration is old school, classic with a french feeling. Chic and warm vibes. My favorite seat is inside by the french door with windows. I think is a little bit crowded and busy in the outside tables. If this is for a date, definitely I suggest you to take the table inside.

My family and I have been dining at Le Zoo for many years. Generally, it has been consistent with occasional lapses in services. Yesterday we experienced a complete breakdown in service, along with mediocre food at best. To summarize, our raw bar apps took 45 minutes to emerge from the kitchen. The ice was melted around the oysters and shrimp, which made for a soggy and less-than-tasty first course. Not to mention our table was wobbly because the legs were uneven, making it difficult to eat! I could go on, but I think you get the drift. It was a poor experience with absolutely no attempt to make it right. Needless to say, Le Zoo is off our rotation until they acknowledge and fix the underlying issues. I sincerely hope they do because it was once a good restaurant! Maybe Gordon Ramsay is available for tough love.

Great restaurant with inside and patio seating. Romantic and relaxing setting. Good seafood and other dishes. I also got a real good attentive service from the wait staff. Prices are reasonable.

Upscale French cuisine, great dishes recommended by the server. We definitely enjoyed our dishes, for first timers at Le Zoo this was a great experience! Great customer service and ambience both inside and outside.

My favorite French restaurant in the area. Always perfect service and the food is prepared expertly. Never had a bad meal here. The manager, small petite lady, is so cute and fashionable and friendly. The Nicoise Salad is my favorite, but everything here is great. Desserts are amazing!

My friend and I had a wonderful time eating dinner at Le Zoo. Our three course meal started off with unlimited choices of bread, then came the cucumber soup, Rateatoullie and créeme brûlée! All at once we had a wonderful French dining experience. Thank you to our wait staff and the chef for everything.

The ambiance was good. The food was good but not extraordinary. I would recommend for a lunch on the more expensive side. Theres great presentation of the food as well.

Le Zoo never disappoints. Like it’s sister Le Parc on Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia, this Stephen Starr French bistro never disappoints. The steak tartare is excellent, and I love that they divide the Niçoise salad if you’re sharing it. The burger and steak frites are perfectly prepared. I always have a Martini or Negroni before wine, any the bar men are always on point. Jonathan was on top of his game as our server. Will continue to come back to this Bal Harbour staple.

Updated review : I was there yesterday and brought flowers for my date. One of the managers offered to put them in water, much appreciated gesture! Always fab experience here. 👌👍🍾🥂❤ Lovely French bistro at beautiful Bal Harbour shops. Delicious authentic French cuisine. Great service. Cosmopolitan crowd. Highly recommend.🍾🥂

This is just an amazing place to eat and enjoy life. Spectacular menu with fresh tasting food in a comfortable outside seating. Our server Diego was just excellent, very knowledgeable of the menu and made great recommendations.

The location and the ambiance are awesome. If you have never been to the Bal Harbor Shoppes, the water, plants, Koi, and layout s relaxing and comfortable (comfortable except for your wallet as the shops are high-end). We had heard the hamburger was one of the best in the area, and the spice menu looked interesting and appealing to the pallet. There were four of us that included a kids menu, though he eats like an adult. Good restaurants that have kid's menus are family friendly which is great for repeat business. The bread on the grilled cheese sandwich is too thick and takes away from the flavor. A little butter on the bread while making it would have added flavor. The hamburger was not the best hamburger in this area but was good. Most burgers at good restaurants in the Miami area are priced at around $25. The chilled cucumber soup was flavorful and interesting with nuts. However, it was not above average. The pate de campagne reminded us of France, yet again it did not stand out. The crab to the spaghetti aux crab was cooked right and good but no match for Scarpetta's. star goddess. I will try the restaurant Carpaccios next door and compare its pasta to let you know how that comes out. If you go to Le Zoo, try the steak Frites.

When I am in Miami , I try to come, I like the service, la salade niçoise, les moules frites, les pâtes à la bolognaise, et plus. It does looks like the bistro I am used to in small French town.

It’s a very likely place located in the mall however, the inside of the restaurant is beautiful. My fish was cooked perfectly and the service was great. I find the carpaccio was a bit bland but it was still good. The scallops, however, were one of the best scallops I’ve had.

The best onion soup and burger in town. Love this place because for some weird reason its never packed so you can normally count on getting a table as a walk in (unlike the other places in Bal Harbor where you’re more likely to spot a UFO than get a table without a reservation on a weekend)

Le Zoo is a gem of a restaurant in the Bal Harbour Shops, offering a taste of timeless French-Mediterranean cuisine in a charming and elegant setting. The service is attentive and friendly, and the food is exquisite. I had the steak frites, which was cooked to perfection and served with crispy fries and a delicious sauce. My partner had the grilled branzino, which was moist and flavorful, accompanied by a refreshing salad. We also enjoyed the bread basket, which had a variety of fresh and warm breads. For dessert, we shared the creme brulee, which was creamy and rich, with a perfect caramelized crust. We loved everything about our experience at Le Zoo, and we can’t wait to go back. This is one of the best restaurants in Miami, and we highly recommend it to anyone who loves French food.

I've been here to eat a couple of times. Oysters are good but pricey. I can't say I've had their oysters since they've removed their happy hour offering though. Crab and Avocado salad are really nice. A bit on the small side for what it is. Burger also pretty good. Ordered it without pickles and it still came out with them on it. I just picked it off, but it would've been nice to get it as I ordered. If you sit outside, you're most likely facing the parking lot. Inside design is nice. The waiter didn't refill my water until it was empty for some time. Overall, I still quite like it. It's not the first place I'd return to in Bal Harbour Shops. Would like to see them bring back their Happy Hour offerings.

My first time eating at Le Zoo and I was very impressed. The location is nice since it's inside the Bal Harbour Shops. My party and I sat outside to eat since it was such a beautiful day. While we waited for our food, we were offered some of their breads and their sour dough was so delicious and dipping it onto the olive oil made it that much tastier. I ordered the chicken paillard and it did not disappoint! OMG it was really good that I'm still craving to try it again real soon. I'm so happy my co-worker recommended that I'd try it since it's her favorite. My other co-worker got a cappuccino after our meal and said I should try their homemade cookies that were on the plate. It was really delicious and tasted fresh. I'm only disappointed that there weren't more for me to eat! HA HA HA. Overall, I had a great experience and I can't wait to eat here again.

My first time having escargot! It was ok, the stock/ broth that the escargot was in was pretty good. The truffle pasta was my favorite part of the meal. That was delicious!

Le Zoo is located on the 1st level at Bal Harbour Shoppes with the main restaurant along the curbside and additional seating in the middle courtyard area. I prefer the inside of the main restaurant because of the ambiance created by the French and retro fusion decor. I always make a reservation, but there are usually tables available, plus there is seating at the bar area (but not much). The service here is usually very good, along with the management checking in to make sure everything is satisfactory. All of the food was fresh and prepared exactly as ordered. One of the things that stands out to me is the Cold Seafood Platter - all fresh and delicious! The only thing I don't like about this restaurant is the bathroom - it really needs some cleaning and upgrading - but not enough to take a star off. Bon Appétit!

Great atmosphere and food. Tables inside looked a little more quiet, white table cloths, flower on the table and a candle. Outside was nice too just a little bit more loud and busy. Food was great, decent wine selection. French onion soup and Surfside salad was bomb.

I love the environment at Le Zoo and Bal Habour in general. I love the Foie Gras Sauteed, it was very good. I would recommend this place to friends and family.

My family and I are REGULARS HERE!!! 🤩 If you love pasta, seafood, desserts, drinks and fine dining, this is the place for you. I’ve forgotten how many times I’ve eaten their truffle tagliolini. That’s our favorite dish here. I am personally a fan of their cocktails especially their moscato. 5 stars all the way!

Enjoyed a very nice brunch with girlfriends on a Saturday. We got a perfect outdoor table. The food was delicious and the vibe electric. The reason for only 4 stars is because service was very sporadic. It was difficult to get water refills and Our waiter disappeared several times which, for a party of 6, can be extra frustrating. It was my first time at Le Zoo. Because the food and vibe were so good, I would definitely go again during a less busy time.

I don’t usually put 5 stars reviews but this place deserves it. We made a reservation, we arrived 30min earlier and they were able to seat us. Food was exquisite and fast service. I think that prices are fair enough for Miami. Definitely coming back when I’m in the area.

We ordered a grilled fish sandwich and a Turkey club sandwich. The fish sandwich was: horrendous. It tasted extremely bitter with the kale and a sauce that did not compliment the fish. The brioche bun was the only good thing there. On the other hand, the turkey club was amazing. The bread was probably one of the best we’ve had in a long time. Grilled to perfection, buttered and with a really nice sauce. The turkey, avocado, tomato, and bacon complimented it very well. If it wasn’t for the fish sandwich, our experience would have been five stars.
