If I could give negative 5 stars I Would. I scheduled a week prior to my appointment, and asked the receptionist twice if they took my insurance and I said are you sure she said yes we dol! I was contacted twice to confirm my appointment. I showed up to my appointment after my 30 minute drive to the office only for the girl to tell me they don't take my insurance. I told the girl I was assured by someone in the office that my insurance was accepted. She said I could pay $180 for an out of network appointment. They only want your money! They claimed United health care out of the blue things changed and conveniently didn't take my insurance any longer. I was very upset that I missed a days work and I'm in such pain, I left very upset. I called the office manager and she could care less and couldn't help me. She Called it a "learning lesson" for her staff. All I wanted was for someone to call me and give me a heads up they didn't take my insurance anymore (within the 6 days of booking the appointment) Horrible customer service. Not sure how this office even operates. 10 out of 10 wouldn't recommend.

I always have loved Dr. Richards but because I was having repeat Sinus Infections I chose to Try Dr. Slack as he had many Great Reviews on him. First let me say I've had 7 Sinus Surgery s in my Lifetime so I know when there's something wrong otherwise I wouldn't choose to go to a Doctor who doesn't take my Insurance and Pay out of Pocket. I had to wait 2 weeks to see Dr. Slack..He scoped my nose and said everything looked great except my left side was closed and to continue doing whatever I was doing??? Really!!! I just had come off of antibiotics the day before and I said I couldn't tilt my head forward or backwards and that the top of my head hurts. I also said I had Dark Green Mucos coming out of my nose and dripping down my throat. This Dr. Was frustrated talking to me because I guess I was telling him what was Wrong and What I needed to stay open and he just wasn't hearing me. I got no medication..no prescription for a Nasal Spray which I asked what he would recommend and Nothing for the inflammation which I've had always. He ordered a Cat scan..which he said if my left Sinus is closed he could do a Balloon Procedure for it...Dr. Richards had told me a long time ago that it wouldn't help me. This Dr. Did Nothing For Me ...I paid to have him look in my nose and give me no suggestions or help whatsoever. Who are these people that say he's so great??? Did you have a lot of Surgery??? Dr. Richards is 10 times the Dr. This guy is. I wouldn't recommend him to a Dog. I will never see him again. If your paying out of pocket and waited 2 weeks ..the least the Dr. Could have done was prescribe a Nasal Spray .Nothing...Absolutely Nothing..Big waste of my time and My Money.. This has never been the case with Dr. Richards...I will never listen to reviews posted by people I don't know.Ever Again!!! Disappointed..Aggravated and Surprised that Dr. Slack has such a high rating. I would give him Zero if I could.

Dr. Richards has been my ENT for years. My favorite doctor in Florida! On time, receptive, GREAT STAFF, communicates clearly, & is sincerely interested in her patients well-being. A+ 👍

Office staff is unprofessional. Verified insurance for my girlfriend 2 weeks prior to appointment twice over the phone. She has been in pain and was looking forward to the appointment for relief. She took off of work and drove quite far to arrive at the appointment only to be told that they don’t take her insurance and they want an out of network cost of $180 just to be seen. Very misleading, deceptive, rude and unapologetic. It is not right to take advantage of the sick and suffering by lying to drive sales especially during a pandemic. Instead of owning up to their mistake and being empathetic about the situation they were still rude and made no accommodations. I would highly not recommend this office if you or a loved one is in pain. They do not care

Dr Richards is great and nurses as well but Office staff is just not very knowledgeable and could be nicer with less gossiping. Answering service they use is terrible. Still In the waiting room and you can hear the staff calling around trying to get my test results when my appointment was 30 minutes ago

Best doctor's office in Port Saint Lucie with the most friendly and caring staff! Doctor Slack was amazing and very understanding. I'm so glad I found them. Other doctor's office in PSL SHOULD take notes on how you treat and care for a patient.

I was really really pleased with my visit with Dr Phillips did a fantastic job I had a problem with my ears took care of it great here's nose throat man check them out anytime you want

I had a severe nosebleed that was a very unusual occurrence for me. It took about 30 minutes to stop the flow, which would restart as soon as I bent down to do something. Knowing that there might be something involved, I stopped in to see if, by chance, I could get an emergency appointment at Associated Coastal ENT, otherwise I would have to go to the emergency room. Although it was a lunch break for office, a friendly and wonderful receptionist gladly took my information and indicated that, due to a cancelation, there was actually an opening within an hour, which was an unexpected and wonderful surprise. And, to top it off, I was blessed to have become a patient of Doctor Jesse Phillips, who was absolutely fantastic (and so is his staff)! He diagnosed and found the issue causing the nosebleed and calmly explained the problem and cauterized the offending vessel, while providing sufficient numbing agent to make the procedure fairly easy. However, because Doctor Phillips is such a professional, he did uncover and did a biopsy of a mass he noticed way up in my nostril. In essence, Doctor Phillips has likely saved my life.

call in today to get my son ear wax removal, simple nothing else , front desk kind of rude no other option or advice what to do just wait an eternity for a simple 5-10 minutes procedure, was referred there by my BCBS PPO insurance but that is an unfortunately. My impression is they do not want to get more patients no matter what. my advice look some place else where at least they are kind to you even over the phone.

This practice is truly second to none. Dr. Phillips is a gifted and caring man. He has treated both of my daughters and he cares as if they were his own. No words can express my most sincere gratitude towards him and his practice.

While I love seeing the allergist for my kiddo, it’s insanely hard to get someone on the phone to make an appointment. I’ve tried at all hours of the day. Your hours online say open at 7:30. So I call at 8:15. Closed. I call at 4 since hours say 4:30. Closed. It could be 1 pm and no one answers. I’ve been trying for 3 weeks to reschedule an appointment to go over allergy testing.

I had a 10 o'clock appointment with Dr Phillips, after waiting 1hour I got called back, at that time I was informed that this is way the doctor works and it would be over another 20 minutes before I would see him. That's when I decide to leave and find another doctor. I arrived on time for my appointment Doctor Phillips should do the same.

Dr. Slack is top tier and so are his staff of lovely, kind and gentle women. I felt comfortable and relaxed in his care. Performed multiple Surgeries on me and left me with a barely noticeable scar. He's funny, personable and caring. Too bad I no longer live in st Lucie county, if I did he'd still be my doctor. Thanks Dr. Slack and staff!

Dr Philips is the BOMB! The entire staff is really friendly and personable... Trust is hard these days with Medical.. we've become livestock in the sense that we're fast-tracked in a increasing population. I've been in a doctor's office that had patients packed in every room...watching them bounce from one to the next. How can you possibly be personable and thorough ?? Not HERE!! You are treated very intimate here! Health CARE... KEYWORD.."CARE" Coastal ENT Cares!

My husband and I received 5 Star customer service from start to finish. The office is clean and bright. We received a warm welcome by the receptionist. We were seen on time by competent- knowledgeable & personable physicians ( Dr. Marcy O'Brian & Dr. Christopher Slack). We highly recommend this practice for excellent customer service and competent medical care! Thank you!

Both my son's have been seen by Dr Richards over the past two years and she is nothing short of amazing! Both boys were treated for having multiple ear infections which resulted in getting tubes for each, both of them being about a 1.5 year old at the time of their procedures. Her and her staff have always treated our kids with love and care - my husband and I are so thankful to have found her! I could honestly go on and on but point is that if you have a little one in need of some serious ear relief, Dr Richards is phenomenal!

Doctor Marcy has been great at getting me fitted and wearing my hearing aids, definitely life changing. She goes out of her way to reprogram, inspect and readjust as needed. Doctor Slack has gotten me back on track with my allergies. Best ENT office around.

I have required the services of Marcy O’Brian over the past several weeks. Simply stated; 1) Professionalism 2) Compassion 3) Patience 4) Technical knowledge All receive ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and I will reach out to Marcy again whenever I am in need of audiology assistance, whether it’s for new hearing aids, repair or counseling.

Went to Coastal ENT for snoring. Diagnosed with sleep apnea 8 years ago. PAP machine improved my physical and mental health as well as my marriage. Recently returned for new PAP device. Professional and courteous staff explained the process. Minimal wait time at the PSL office. I have no complaints.

Moved from NY and needed to continue my allergy shots. Wasn't sure if my NY Insurance would pay so asked how much for initial consult. I was told $172. The office called my insurance and was told they would pay "out of network" benefits. The billed the insurance company $264. Insurance company didn't reimburse since I still had a deductible to pay so the office made me pay them the $264 instead of $172. What a scam. Keep away

My daughter needed to have her tonsils out and we suspected likely her adenoids. After a lot of research we chose Coastal ENT. They did not disappoint. Dr Slack was our doctor and he was amazing with my daughter. Explained everything, prepared me well and took excellent care of her. The staff at the office was super nice and very informative. The day of her surgery came and everything went smoothly. Unfortunately (at no fault of Dr slack or the staff) my daughter experienced an emergency complication just a few days after surgery which required me to contact the on-call doctor. Dr Phillips was on call and while we hadn’t met him yet at that point, he was calm, had a plan and at 11:00pm at night came into the office to take care of my daughter. What should/would have been another trip to the OR to address the issue, it wasn’t possible that evening due to issues at the hospital so Dr Phillips had to devise a plan to address the concern in the office which evidently is not easily done on a small, scared kid so he had his work cut out for him. Not once did I see him panic. He spoke to my daughter, involved her in the treatment plan every step of the way, kept her calm and diligently worked to fix the issue. He had the patience of a saint! He was able to completely fix the issue without needing to go back into the OR. We didn’t finish up in the office until about 1:00am. But his care didn’t stop there. He personally called the pharmacy to ensure they got her medications, continuously followed up with me through the middle of the night to ensure my daughter was good, and came up with a just in case game plan with my husband and I in case anything else happened again. We were in the best of hands. My daughter healed wonderfully and the entire office was amazing. I would recommend them to everyone!! They went above and beyond.
