I genuinely felt like I was at home when I came here. The food was exceptional, and the workers were so welcoming. This is my favorite Jamaican restaurant in Miami, and I recommend everyone to come here. A worker named Terrence provided excellent customer service. This restaurant is an authentic Jamaican restaurant that serves mouthwatering food. If you haven't tried it, then you're missing out.

I was pleasantly surprised to find Jamaican food in the food court at Aventura Mall. It's great representation and the food is high quality for the fast-casual diner. The favorites are present: oxtail, curry chicken, and jerk chicken. Of course, due to the location, it's not smoked first and isn't bone-in, or this would be five stars. However, what they have is definitely top notch and worth your time if you're having a craving. The Rice & Peas were even made with coconut milk and there's nothing more authentic than that. They did have a quinoa option but I couldn't pass up the rice. The jerk tasted slow stewed in the sauce and I got extra oxtail gravy on my rice. The protein comes with three toppings like plantain & sautéed onions and green peppers. Surprisingly, cabbage was no where to be found, which I thought was strange because why no cabbage? Perhaps, they were out. They do have broccoli for a surcharge and we opted for that. It was fresh and not overcooked because it retained and nice little crunch. The other staples like D&G brand soda. including my all-time favorite Champagne Kola, are present. Plus, homemade patties at a good price. The have a Floridian brand water in an environmentally friendly canister but, I personally did not like the container. It was $50 for 2 meals, which I found to be expensive for a food court and why I didn't mark this 5-stars. Would I eat there again? Yes. Would I go to Aventura Mall just to eat there? Maybe. Either way, you'll have a full belly and an enjoyable meal if not a lighter wallet but isn't that what the mall is for anyway? If you like Jamaican food, do go. A Plus Recommends.

This was my first time having a build your own bowl style meal at a Jamaican restaurant. It is located in Aventura Mall. I chose the rice &peas as a base, jerk bbq chicken as protein, and the pineapple mango salsa as a topping. It was absolutely divine! The flavor combination was definitely on point. I got some of the Rude Boy sauce 🔥. It is nothing to play with okay! My tongue is whimpering at the thought lol. It was still very tasty. The line moved very quickly and the staff was very nice. I love the cashless system that they have in place. I will definitely go back!

We had lunch here, the service was 5 star. Took the time to explain everything to us since it was our first time eating here. They have Jamaican food bowls! Awesome! The food was sooo fresh, a little spice to it, the jerk flavors were oh so good. Make it your business to stop by if your in the area.

Super good, Cece and I wanted to try something different and it was well worth it. The jerk shrimp is so good and even the bananas surprised me. All the utensils and the straws are also Eco friendly which I love. Hi at careful with the spicy shrimp cause they weren’t kidding haha

I ordered the oxtail bowl with the jerk quinoa. I added some mango salsa to the bowl. I like the Jamaican options such as jerk chicken or shrimp. oxtail is a favorite of mine where ever I can get it. There are a number of sides to add to the bowls mostly with a jerk or spicy taste. Overall this is very good inside the Aventura Mall. They have bottled water and other bottled drinks. Overall good

First time eating Jamaican food and I want more. Everything was seasoned to perfection and fresh. The beef pattie had me wanting another one. Don’t forget the rum cake and pineapple soda.

First time coming to the Treats food hall at Aventura mall and we decided to try JRK! I wouldn't even consider this mall food- this was restaurant quality food and everything was delicious! We had the jerk rice and peas with bbq chicken and a side of jerk onions and peppers, pineapple plantains and fried yucca with a pineapple mango salsa to round it all out. Everything tasted fresh and the chicken thighs were cooked to perfection - still juicy paired perfectly with the slight peppery jerk bbq sauce. I can't sit to come back and try the patty's or some of their other delicious entrees. Highly recommend. I can't wait to see more JRK! Locations in the future

These Vegan Patties were wonderful! Initially I assumed it would be beyond beef in the patty but it really was sautéed vegetables with a nice kick . The vegetables were cooked to perfection I feel as though they should probably incorporate beyond beef it would be a great addition. I wish I was able to get the vegan jerk but it was finished by the time I got there unfortunately ,which was relatively early but the people at the mall beat me too it . Overall great customer service. Would try them out again .

JRK in Aventura Mall, this small restaurant is part if the renewed Aventura Mall’s Food Court. The food tasted good, fried yuca was perfectly crisped, Jerk Shrimp was good, good flavor, Rice and Peas was the best for me, but I have to tell you something, if you don’t like or tolerate the heat of the Scotch Bonnet Peppers be mindful that their Rice and Peas is cooked with it, heat level was good for me but it might not be for others. All in all, a good place to grab a quick lunch or dinner.

This is a Jamaican restaurant which has that authentic taste. Nothing you would expect from a food court in the mall. The vibes of the music (reggae/dancehall) had everyone in the line dancing while waiting to be served. Definitely a must try even if you’re not going to the Aventura mall. 👍🏾

This food has me feeling like I was on an island! I chose the jerk chicken, peas & rice, yuca fries, and plantains. Food was amazing!!!!!! Very well seasoned and the rice had the perfect fluff. I will definitely be returning.

This place is amazing!! The portions are huge and everything is so fresh and flavorful. Don’t miss out on the jerk fried rice—I dream about that stuff. Best Jamaican food I’ve had!

I came with a friend and decided to get the jamican food at JRK! I’m Glad we did the food was so Amazing with so much Flavor! We waited in line for a short amount of time and I had the quinoa with half rice and yellow curry chicken with a mint cucumber sauce on the side. My friend and I sat down to enjoy your meal and we savored every bite. I had to go back over to the counter after and I asked to speak to the owner and manager. I had to let them know how wonderful the food was. I told him next time I come and I’ll try the jerk shrimp and he said hold on a second and came back with a small dish for me to try to take home. Furthermore, I purchased the jerk ranch dressing and took it home with me. I highly recommend this place it is amazing!!!!

This place was fire!! I had no idea I could find oxtail and jerk chicken at aventura mall. The rice and peas was so good! Has a hint of coconut. First time I had it like that and I’m obsessed. The jerk chicken had a good kick to it and everything was just so good. Can’t wait to come back! I didn’t get to take a good pic because I dug in the food the minute I sat down lol

Outstanding food and service. Weird to say about “mall food court” food, but ate here once after the first Miami GP in 2022, and made sure to stop by again this year! Rude Boy sauce is a MUST if you like a little extra kick!

Here visiting from NC, I must say this is the best Jamaican food I’ve ever had in my entire life. Wish we had one home. I had oxtails and came back next day and they were sold out. I got the jerk chicken and my husband got the barbecue.

Lawwd hope they serve this food in heaven cause it’s full of flavor, spicy, juicy and sweet at the same time. The owner Mr.Wayne is so welcoming along with his staff. Merci🇭🇹🇯🇲

When you think of mall food, jerk fried rice isn’t what you expect! However, Jrk! Is killing the game… my tastebuds are on fire from the jerk fried rice, jerk shrimp, cabbage, and beef patty. It smelled too good to take a picture before I dug all the way in.
