It was one of the absolute worst experiences I have ever had at a retail store. I recently purchased a guitar from this store, which was defective. It didn't state any problems, although they must have known it doesn't work when you plug it in. They put it on clearance, which in Guitar Center means no returns! On top of this, I was asked if I have ever in my adult life purchased anything that was on clearance, which to the clerk in my picture apparently universally means defective and can not be returned! Exchanging the guitar for the same one that works was all I asked. Instead, I was mocked!! They lost a customer for life. I have purchased easily $25,000 in equipment over the years and sent people there multiple times. I wouldn't shop there ever again!!

Great huge store! Staff is usually very knowledgeable. The only setbacks is that some items are out of stock or on backorder. If you need a specific item then plan ahead because they may have to special order it.

The worst service I’ve ever been. Smoked sellers, everyone is relaxed, there is no one in the sales areas. They asked me to consult about the speaker system, they said yes yes, let’s go, as he continued to sit on a chair and sat. We left the goods we wanted to buy and left there. Further - more. Yesterday I ordered a midi keyboard from them via the Internet, paid for fast delivery (delivery the next day), today in their chat I was told the order is checked by some service, they cannot verify my bank card, although they wrote off the money yesterday for the goods and for delivery and for tax. Think before you go to this store.

One of the absolute worst locations I have ever been to! I have been to this location on four separate occasions and waited 45+ minutes every single time for somebody to come and unlock a guitar, every single time no one shows up to help me. when you approach the manager who has the key to unlock the guitars he states that he’s too busy to come and help you and stays back and pro audio helping other customers, meanwhile, there’s four other employees standing around doing absolutely nothing that could be helping customers. I’ve basically beg these people to take the $10,000 I’m trying to spend in the store but after today I will never step foot in this establishment anywhere in the United States. There’s plenty of other guitar stores around that offer, superior customer service and really value their customers, this guitar Center values nothing. The manager at the store today refused to give me his name, this person has zero reason to be in any sort of manager position at all. Dont fall for their generic response to this one star review, if you look through the reviews all the responses are the same. I have called corporate, I have emailed and nothing has been done about this situation!

Worst store place to buy. There was only one person available on the floor to help out customers. I was never acknowledged and when I ask the guy for help there he reply in a rude way. I can’t help you and you have 6 persons before so wait. Totally not professional way to speak to a customer. Well I had to go to Sam-ash to purchase my items.

Great guitar selection, horrible customer service. I asked for help getting a Flying V down from the top of the wall and the cashier told me "no problem". I waited around 15 to 20 minutes by the guitar I wanted to try and no one ever came to help me get the guitar down off of the wall. Before I asked for help getting the guitar down I was probably in the store for at least 15 minutes browsing, so overall probably spent about 30 to 40 minutes in the store and no one asked me if I needed help. Which is kinda funny because most Guitar Centers I have been in across the country you can't walk five feet through the door without every employee hounding you. And even funnier is that while I was waiting for help getting the guitar down a kid came up to me asking me if I had a Capo he could use because he thought I worked at the store, I said "Sorry I don't work here, I'm just waiting for someone to help me get this guitar down off of the wall."

Not a friendly involvement! Walk in none wants to talk if you ask for help their answer is I have 4 people in from of you! ……. Question sense of service question sense of care . Phone is ringing of the hook none answered only 3 employees for 15 costumer . I looking for a guitar and guitar lessons I guess the answer is not here ! I drove 10 miles to come here and purchase a Guitar not worth it

This is a great place to get in touch with all musical instruments. Customer service team is always taking care of your visit. I love the warranty program they have. This is a credible and cool place to buy your musical instruments.

I'm sure everyone knows about this store but just incase you don't it's great, I prefer mom and pops music stores like M.A.E but really this store is pretty good for a franchise music store. I just bought a new guitar from them about 2 weeks ago and it already had the best price but I still asked if they could do any better and they took off another $40. They're selection of instruments is huge, what ever your looking for you'll find it there.

Easiest purchase I've ever made in my life! Went in looking for a violin and ended up walking out with a Yamaha Piano! Coolest dude was the fellow in the drum 🥁 section. He definitely helped me recognize my next instrument. I would of got the drums if I had a soundproof room but I needed a instrument just to help me concentrate on having a new talent. Will definitely be back. Might get x2 guitars in a few weeks. 💯💯💯

Spent over 1 Hr in store just for my items to get “looked “ at and GRANT IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST! He opened My Breedlove Guitar and Sonic energy hand pan all brand new items and he stated because I’m selling an item I’m LAST IN LINE AND ALL CUSTOMERS PURCHASING GOES BEFORE ME 😂 what an absolute joke ! I hate guitar center and Will never come back !

I have fond memories of visiting this place often back when Marko and Julian worked at GC pro. Recently, I came across a rare used Orange 212 here, and needless to say, I was absolutely psyched about it. Prior to my visit, I made a call to confirm its availability, and the staff was accommodating enough to assure me that it was in stock. However, despite having everything lined up, the checkout process ended up taking quite a bit of time. Hoping for improved efficiency during future visits

Every time i visit Guitar center in Hallandale i buy a guitar, The staff there is great and very professional. The sell guitars, Drums, Pianos, Audio amps and many more. Getting there is super easy, There’s always nice and comfortable parking, The opening hours is from Mon to Friday from 10am to 10pm. recommend thers 2nd used instruments with their warranty

Ordered a beautiful Wine Red Epiphone Les Paul and it came quickly and was packaged well. Customer service was great and I’m very happy with my purchase. Will definitely recommend to friends.

Knowledgeable staff. I went to buy a recorder for my kids and the staff who assisted me was very helpful. Joshua who is in charge of the training school is absolutely a go to and they have excellent music teachers based on their years of experience. The school is doing a promo and you might want to check them out if you’re looking for a place to enrol your kids for keyboard, drums or guitar lessons. I did too for my kids. I recommend this store.

TERRIBLE customer service. Prices are off, and I was told to wait 1 hour and a half to do a trade in. Horrible experience. This is exactly why people prefer to go online rather than retails stores!!!

The staff was nice and helpful. There are two closed rooms for evaluating the sound of electric guitars and basses, and one closed room for acoustic guitars. There are many guitars for potential customers to physically see, feel, and test, and you can take your time to try them. Overall speaking, this is a very spacious and comfortable space for music lovers to shop around. I am very happy that I got a chance to visit this place in person.

Can you find a larger selection of musical equipment anywhere?? This place has it all. If you're a musician, this place is like a playground. You can try and play just about any guitar they have in stock hanging from the racks. You can try multiple amps. If you can imagine it, they probably have at least 1 available. They do repairs. They can set up your instruments. They offer lessons. Just about anything when it comes to music and instruments. Looks small from the outside....but huge from the inside.

I needed 3 guitars for a last minute emergency celebrity signing. I stopped into guitar center and they had an insanely thorough selection of guitars. I needed an acoustic and they had 200 options. Almost overwhelming. But found what I needed and got out of there quickly! Thanks

Called ahead to ask if a technician is available to take a look at my mixer. They said, "Sure, come over, we'll take care of you". Having spent an hour in traffic, I finally arrived to the store and was first referred to one technician, then to another. Both told me explicitly that they do not troubleshoot mixers. Naturally, they wouldn't tell me who the person on the phone was and why he told me to come in the first place. This is the worst customer service I've seen in a very long time, period.

Went to buy a keyboard case that showed in stock. Was assured by 2 other people in different departments that they had it. Then when we went to get it we were told that it's out of stock. We saw the case in the back when he claimed to look for it. Then refused to sell us the case.
