IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR ANIMALS DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE!!! STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!! We brought our puppy here to get her final shots. One day she got 2 shots and said that she needed 1 more but recommended not to do it the same day. That day they charged us $61 for an office visit $19 for a pedicure several days later we brought her back to get the last shot. They charged us again $61 for a visit. Keep in mind during these office visits they are supposed to check her ears and body. They said these are full check up and charge for office visists as a PHYSICAL! We pick her up and later have her brought to the groomer to be bathed. The groomer noticed that her nails had not been cut, her ears had wax build up, and showed signs of an ear infection. We found that to be odd given that she had been at the vet twice in less than a week where they are supposed to check her ears. We also paid for her nails which they clearly never did that but charged us for. We called and they danced around the question of the nails and they said they did check her ears and they looked fine which clearly was a lie because we went back the next day and they found her ears to be infected. Leaving the visit they tried to charge but after 45 minutes couldn;t figure out how to remove certain items from the receipt, they said that it was $42 but they weren't sure how to do the transaction. Today they tried to call and say that the price was now $51... Thats odd seeing as how just 24hrs ago it was $42.... Banfield pet hospital is a SICK JOKE! All these people care about is making a quick dollar off of you. They are scammers who do not care about your animals. Catch our story on the news later this week!

My dog was scared of death! 3 REASONS WHY you should avoid this Vet: 🚨3- The last and most important: THEY HAVE NO RESPECT DOGS. Let’s talk business, realistically Vet clinics lose appointments everyday cause they simply can’t accommodate everyone in 8 hrs they stay open. They take limited appointments according to the time they have to treat your pet. This veterinarian facility is inventing the wheel( Ban-field hospital south beach)is innovating by getting all the dogs the possibly can and treating them as they go. That way the don’t lose any business and are able to have unlimited amount of daily appointments. 📌the second picture uploaded has all the dogs they were holding at the facility at the moment I arrived(11pm). 2- After making an appointment and getting there on time they expect to leave your dog behind, where they place them in a cage with other 27 dogs that are already being hold inside for up to 5 hrs or more. 1- As soon as I tell them exactly what I needed they go ahead and let me know all the treatments that will be provided to my dog without even looking at her. Treatments my dog didn’t need and would’ve cost me $500-$600. 👉thank god I reacted quickly reacted and said no. 💰 THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY, not your pet. Please choose your Vet wisely or just cancel the treatment if you see anything suspicious. Pet owner=Pet parent

Very unprofessional. Does not live up to their word. Handles appointment very poorly. Leaving dog in cages for over hours. Basically animal abuse. Do not go here, they’ll just torture your dog for over 5 hours even if you have an appointment. My dog will never be the same from this experience.

It took them 25 minutes to come and pick up my dog, although I told a receptionist I have an important work call at 9am and have to go. Had to leave eventually. No respect to clients time.

!DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE! This place is awful. They only care about money. The office staff is incompetent, they over charged for a health certificate for a service animal. Even though it clearly states on the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service USDA Federal website that the USDA does NOT charge endorsement fees for service animals belonging to individuals with disabilities as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act. - Not only did they over charge, they also asked to prove the disability. - Which is a clear violation of the ADA regulations. - Shocking that a veterinarian office does not know the laws regarding service animals. The office then refused to reimburse for the overcharge. Wow. Why anyone would trust their dog here is beyond me. DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE.

My dog almost died HERE after a regular dental visit MUST READ I took him this morning at 8:00am for a simple dental cleaning with anesthesia. They overdose my dog, it’s 5:00 am and he is still disorianted/vomiting/heavy breathing. I took him to the emergency room around 11:00pm (been there all night) and they told me that he has ASPIRATION PNEUMONIA, probably cause when using the breathing tube during anesthesia. He was barely moving in the car when we took him to emergency. He received shots but still not ok Is this the way of returning a dog to their parents? I had several panic attacks and he is still vomiting and breathing weird like he has an lung obstruction. Someone call me and help my dog!!!!!!!!!! Do you understand that pets are part of our family? I don’t have kids because I chose to have a dog, and incompetent people like this seem them as bills/money, not little beeings. What is that he is vomiting? Blood? Someone help

This is my 4th time coming here, I was happy until today. Highly considering on changing the vet. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE, very unprofessional. From the beginning I told my puppy had cough, and went for the vaccine. After 5 hrs waiting I CALLED the veterinarian and they Told me I can pick up my dog. At the end, I was told my dog didn’t get the vaccine due to the cold. Someone should triage the dogs to avoid delays. Also, very expensive. Ear infection and diarrhea $200, today they wanted me to charge $200 for the cold treatment

No issues with the care my dog received. Just usual and customary vaccines. The problem with this location is no one answers the phone. You call, they place you immediately on hold. You wait forever. Or should they take your name and number they don’t call back. The parking there is a nightmare. I raised the issue about basic customer service and they acknowledge they’re understaffed - I get it. But no one wants to be on hold for over 10 minutes. Just send to voicemail and call back. There are options in South Beach and I recommend you explore them.

Terrible customer service and awful organization. I made an appointment, got there and they could not find the appointment. I informed them that I needed prescription food for my dog and they still could not help. The worse pet hospital in Miami

DO NOT GO HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. ZERO. I Don’t care if your animal is choking and this place is 5 min and the next vet is 15 min — GO to the 15 min one. Any place but here. Your animal has better chances of surviving going anywhere but here. The absolute worst, disrespectful, unprofessional, psychotic, uncaring, disgusting, condescending, rude, lazy, pathetic, greedy, inadequate, unloving excuse for a “VET” I HAVE NEVER HATED any experience and been more shocked and appalled than what we went through here. I am at loss for any more words unless I bust out a thesaurus for all of the above negative words that came to mind — if you are reading this = RUN. Our baby would have died in the hands of these criminals if we didn’t rescue her and bring her to a real vet. They were more worried about LUNCH than caring for our sick angel. RUNNNNNNN!!!!

My dog almost died here! After a dental cleaning my dog was barely breathing, I had a spent all night in Pet Emergency, vomit went to his lungs during the dental cleaning procedure and he got pneumonia. God, horrible unprofessional people.

Have been a client for a year and so far very positive experiences (especially compared to vets in Canada!) Pricing is super reasonable. Everything is always explained very clearly. No pressure to do unecessary interventions. They also do boarding which we were very happy with, special thanks to Vinny for taking great care of our senior dogs.

I have been twice so far and had great service on both occasions. The staff at reception were helpful and friendly and Dr Robert Muir, the vet I got to see, was really kind, helpful and knowledgeable, going above and beyond to discuss options with me and to explain things in detail. He took extra time to do so, which I really appreciated. I recommend taking your pet to them.

Nicole the rudest nurse, unprofessional Neither you or your pet will be treated with respect, love and dignity. I went with my dog Mocca for his first appointment, a 3-month-old puppy. They took us into a room, then the nurse came, she was really rude. She came in and without greeting or introducing herself, she started asking questions, typing on the computer, her way of speaking to me was disrespectful, I felt attacked by her way of speaking, she was yelling me, I wanted to get out of there. At that moment, Dr. Robert Muir arrived, a young person, very kind, delicate and slow to speak, he treated my Mocha with respect and oh surprise that the nurse Nicole with the doctor present began to talk nice and changed the way she treated me and Moca, I mean, I had two nurses and a doctor at my appointment. She acted totally different. Then the doctor came out and she returned to her ostensible attitude. Her name is Nicolle, I know it because during the process I asked her what her name was.
