Arguably the best hotel experience ever! (With boutique-hotel price). Impeccable service and hospitality, Uma makes u feel at home even when you are on a vacation :) Alex is an incredible person with full of honest local advice and ready to help guests. I loved all staff was willing to provide whatever guests ask for. Only 5 min walk to the beach and fresh infused water and beach towels are provided on the rooftop during the day. All in all, i will 100% recommend this hotel to anyone.

Absolutely loved staying here. The rooftop bar and pool are a little oasis with an outstandingly helpful, cheerful, and genuinely interested in providing excellent service gentleman! The rooftop terrace on top of sunset Tower could do with a little bar also. Rooms are good, shower was hot but not very powerful. The deal with the Cafe American is also useful, and worth taking advantage of for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner.

We loved this place - very nicely designed, beautiful and welcoming. The only reason I'm taking the star out is their communication. The front desk people were grumpy when we checked in, they could not find our reservation, and then mixed our name with some other guests' on the greeting card. Cleaning practices weren't clear - we had to talk with the front desk to find out how to switch on the indicator that the room needed cleaning. The instructions to get beach chairs were also confusing. We ended up paying for umbrellas and beach beds on the nearest beach, which was much more convenient. Other than that, everything was awesome. The room was spacious and spotless, with a lot of storage space, and good sound insulation. They do happy hours with free beverages, and the bartender was so nice and cheerful. Awesome place to stay and I hope they'll take feedback to improve communication.

Our two-night stay at Uma House was a tranquil escape, offering not just comfortable accommodation but also attentive service and inviting outdoor spaces that surpassed expectations. From the moment we arrived, the caring and attentive service of the staff set the tone for a memorable stay. The spacious room provided ample comfort, featuring a cozy bed that ensured a restful night's sleepā€”a crucial factor for any traveler. However, what truly stood out was the spectacular outdoor space, particularly the sky deck. Serene, private, and offering breathtaking views, these areas were an unexpected treat. Enjoying the solitude of these spaces, especially having them all to ourselves, created a sense of tranquility amidst our bustling surroundings. The hotel's strategic location near nightclubs and bars proved to be a boon, allowing easy access to the vibrant nightlife while offering a peaceful respite on a tucked-away side street. This balance between accessibility and seclusion made our stay even more enjoyable, providing the best of both worlds. Moreover, attending both wine bar happy hours was a highlight of our visit. The hotel's commitment to offering enjoyable social events further enhanced our experience, providing an opportunity to mingle and unwind after a day of exploration. In summary, Uma House is not just a comfortable stay; it's an experience enriched by attentive service, serene outdoor spaces, and a strategic yet peaceful location. Whether seeking a quiet retreat or easy access to the city's nightlife, this hotel effortlessly caters to diverse preferences, ensuring a memorable and relaxing stay.

I could not ask for more. It is located centrally, near all shops and restaurants.. It is a very deep clean hotel. Rooms are fantastic, spacious, with a view. Hotel staff are all excellent, polite and always helpful. I would like to mention Joseph at the check-in lobby and M.. ( cannot recall the name) who did our check-in. Lovely people. I am sure we will come back to this place without thinking twice ā¤ļø

Excellent choice in Miami Beach. Hotel is immaculate and the customer service is top notch! Staff is extremely helpful. They provided recommendations for dinner and after hour drinks we wouldn't have found on our own. The free beach chairs and towels were convenient and are already set up on the beach, no need to carry anything but snacks! The wine hour is a great way to unwind before dinner and the roof top bar and pool make for a wonderful sunrise and sunset experience. Parking is a very short walk adjacent from the hotel (even in heels) and pretty cheap at about $25/per day. I can't wait to stay here again in the near future.

I had a great stay at the Uma House by Yurbban in Miami Beach. This hotel definitely understands customer service. After checking-in and entering my room, I quickly noticed an issue. Before leaving the hotel for the day, I walked back to the front desk and spoke to Alex about the issue. He immediately suggested a resolution and I was pleased with his recommendation. After returning to my room for the night, there were other problems I started to observe. Instead of speaking to the front desk, I decided to address them the next morning. I was too tired and didnā€™t feel up to it. The next day I spoke to Melinda and she was exceptional. After listening to a couple of my issues, she quickly offered to change my room. She turned my not-so-good stay into an awesome experience. The new room was much better. I was so glad she offered. Every staff member at this hotel is friendly, courteous and welcoming. Itā€™s rare to experience this level of high customer service. I was highly impressed and definitely would recommend.

Do not stay at Uma House. The only thing great about this place is location. We were going through our receipts and realized they charged us for something extra we were unaware of. When we called they apparently told us it was a mini bar charge. (Which like most people on vacation we know not to touch, because mini bar snacks are overly priced and absolutely ridiculous). We asked to send a photo and they sent a photo of a ripped box. Itā€™s harder to know who actually did it since thereā€™s no way of telling (obv since cameras are only in the hallways). It was not us but they seemed not to care since thatā€™s extra money going to them. We called/talked to the front desk/management they seemed hostile and like they did not care. They also didnā€™t realize/know we switched rooms that day which Iā€™m very confused of because shouldnā€™t you know/have a system where your guests are staying? Obv itā€™s a smaller amount since itā€™s from a mini bar, but we just wanted to warn others incase other guests are being accused of similar actions while staying at Uma House. Clearly they nickel and dime you and charge you of fees that you shouldnā€™t be charged for. All I can say is check your receipts when you get home, because they might charge you a fee you were unaware of. We will not be coming back/staying at Uma House and will be sure to tell others as well.

Last minute trip to south beach for a friends celebration of love. Stayed two nights at the Uma House and couldn't have been more pleased. Great hotel with cool boutique feel. Rooms clean and staff was friendly and fantastic. Highly recommend. Feels like a hidden gem in that part of south beach. Also, very cool vibe restraurant in front of hotel (not affiliated). Hotel nightly happy hour on the rooftop pool deck is also a big plus.

We had a lovely stay here! It is such a unique hotel and in a great location. We loved the room and the live music and free wine hour on the rooftop. The service was excellent! We would definitely stay here again. The only thing I wished they had was a gym, but we were able to find other gyms nearby to use.

Uma House was fantastic. The staff were friendly, helpful, kind, and took great care of us. We arrived at the hotel hours before check in time and they had rooms open so they let us check in very early. That was a huge relief to us after having to be at our 4:00 AM airport checkin that morning. The rooftop pool area was very nice and clean with great views, the room was spacious and well decorated. The hotel is only one block from the beach and has a great bar and restaurant attached to it with nice outdoor seating. We will definitely try to stay there again.

Good hotel in a relatively quite part, even though the moment you step out and take a few steps you see a lot of folks and some lively restaurants, so it is kind of strategically situated in this sense. The room was very spacious and had some nice amenities and a nice bathroom. They offer free water in the reception and coffee in the morning. They have two buildings, so I donā€™t know about the other building (I was at the one where Cafe Americano is). One note about the rooms is that either you donā€™t get to have a privacy option or the housekeeping lady just doesnā€™t understand the sign. Not that big of a deal. Just in case you really donā€™t want housekeeping, tell the reception how to do it because what I was doing was just not working (I was pushing the privacy button next to the door and the light turns to red).

Amazing staff (especially Clara!). Location was perfect, close enough to the action and far enough that it was quiet. The rooms were well decorated and spacious, pillows & linens were brand new. The beach chairs were just a skip and hop across the way. The roof top pool area was well done. There was complimentary water daily, wine o'clock and 15% off the restuarant which served up great food. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the heart of South Beach.

Uma House was an amazing place to stay in Miami! The location is fantastic - short walk to the beach, restaurants and cafes, but not too loud (even during spring break.) The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful. They answered all our questions and helped store our luggage before and after check out. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Loved the roofs - a great place to hang out and enjoy the beautiful weather and scenery and are open all day/night!

The location of this place is truly its unique selling point. It is situated right next to the beach and the Miami Beach Convention Center, making it an ideal location for both leisure and business travelers. The staff at this establishment are exceedingly courteous and helpful. They went above and beyond by accommodating our request for an early check-in since the room was available. Additionally, we were allowed to store our luggage for a couple of hours after checking out. The staff's pleasant and helpful demeanor made our stay even more enjoyable. The property itself is great, with all necessary safety measures in place to ensure a comfortable and safe stay. The rooms were well-maintained and hygienic, further adding to the overall satisfaction of our stay. In summary, this place is a fantastic option for anyone looking for a well-located and well-maintained property with excellent customer service. Highly recommended.

What a secret gem this hotel is !!! Can't wait to go back with the family, we all loved it !!! The service from all the staff was great. We got our rooms in the Sunset, they were nice and clean. There's a nice rooftop with a great view. On the Sunrise there's a bigger rooftop with the swimming pool and the bar area. Happy hour is from 6pm-7pm, the free California Roots Pink Moscato was delicious !!! The rooftop bar is open from 11am-7pm. On Sunday nights there's free movie night at the rooftop and free popcorn. In the morning they also offer free coffee and cookies. Thank you Uma House and team for the great experience !!!!

Very modern and quiet hotel in good location. But no appletv possible and not enough water / coffee in room for all checked persons. there were only the little things that could be better. can recommend it and would come back. very clean rooms

We stayed here overnight and really enjoyed that the hotel and the room was super clean,. Its good the floors in the rooms don't have carpets. Location is perfect, you are near Lincoln road mall with all the eateries and shopping you can do. Its quiet without the South beach drunks at night...The staff is accommodating and very friendly. We recommend Uma House and will be back to stay here...

I truly canā€™t say enough wonderful things about Uma House. The rooms are spacious with incredible natural lighting, the staff is warm and welcoming, and the location cannot be beat. Just off the beach to avoid the beach prices but still accommodating with beach chairs, towels, etc. The pool is warm and refreshing and the rooftop happy hour is superb. Also worth noting- this time, they set up a little teepee for my two daughters in what was the absolute sweetest gesture. This isnā€™t the my first stay here and has officially become our ā€œgo-toā€ when visiting South Beach. Maybe I should just pre-book my next stay at check-out ;)

It was a great place and beautiful oasis. Itā€™s very close to the beach. In the morning there is always free coffee and some great biscuit. The only negatives is the late check in after 4pm but they still put so much effort. Itā€™s an amazing place.

Great hotel if you are staying at the main building. The staff was very accommodating and even gave us a 1PM late checkout for free. The hotel was neat, clean, and at a very great location. Price was very competitive. The other buildings of were outdated and smelled funny. Stay at the main (newly renovated building) if you want a GREAT experience

We had a wonderful stay at Uma House! The room was very spacious and extremely clean. Location was great, right across from the beach (you get complimentary access to beach chairs/ towels with your stay) and was far enough from South Beach to avoid the crowds/ noise but close enough where it was extremely walkable. Rooftop pool was great, as well as the complimentary wine happy hour on the roof! Service was all great as well. We will definitely be staying here again when back in Miami!

I was traveling with my 13 year old daughter so I was slightly concerned about our safety. However, the hotel was clean and located in the perfect area. Itā€™s close to restaurants, the beach, pool access and shopping. We felt very comfortable while touring the area, even at night. All of the employees were very kind and helpful. It rained while we were there and the hotel even provided complimentary umbrellas for our use. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Miami.

Came for my boyfriends birthday celebration. Had the best time! Great location and rooms. Alex during wine o clock on the rooftop was great. Living laughing loving!!

Great hotel that is very close to the beach (2 min walk). The staff are incredibly friendly and very helpful upon checkin. Housekeeping were very thorough and left our room sparkling each day. The great amenities include a relaxing swimming pool, marble walk in showers, and free wine evenings at the pool. The hotel has deck chairs on the beach which also have drinks service attached. Some general Miami Beach tips are 1. Bars/Restaurants like to ā€˜upsellā€™ drinks from ā€œsmallā€ to ā€œmediumā€ which should probably be x-large. 2. Paid $21 from airport both ways. 3. Miami Beach is great for watersports

Lovely place with special touches, like prosecco upon arrival, vinyl record player in room, huge shower in ADA room, rooftop pool, complimentary happy hour poolside, attached restaurant, so many niceties.

  • 2/5 Yash T. 2 years ago on Google
One of the worst 4-star hotels I have ever stayed at. You get absolutely nothing for the price point and you are better off paying an extra $100-150 and going across the street to Nautilus or Shelbourne. Starting with the check-in process - we were given very incomplete information about what the hotel offers and what we get in our room rate. The rooms itself are very poorly lit and have idiotic outlet placements. If you like your room to have white fluorescent lighting that accentuates all your flaws, this is the hotel for you. Otherwise highly recommend staying away. Amenities wise - it is very very basic. For being on South Beach, the hotel doesn't have a bar or a restaurant. There is Cafe Americano upfront but it's not affiliated with the hotel and you can't order food or drinks from there to the pool. They won't even offer you free water - which is a bare minimum for the price you're paying. I regret not looking at the reviews before staying here.

Itā€™s a beautiful stylish and very clean hotel! Great size of the room and bathroom, helpful staff, excellent service. The pool is amazing and very clean. I am very picky about hotels but this one deserves the best reviews.

This is a 2 star motel, not a 4 star hotel. Housekeeping does not do rooms and they lie about services/amenities. The hotel reception is downright rude and rooms are dirty. Stay anywhere else if you can. I'm a Hotels Gold VIP member and this is a "VIP property". When booking, it says you get free 2 hour late checkout guaranteed. This was important to me since my flight was later. I got this in the email on booking: "At VIP Access properties, enjoy guaranteed two-hour late check-out and if thereā€™s availability, you can also check-in early." When I asked for this checkout, reception refused, then lied and fought with me for 5 mins that they do not guarantee it even if Hotels does. Break you partnership then? Absolutely disgusting, I will be reporting it to Hotels too.

Nice room, only it is expencive to arrive with own car. 40$ PR day for parking. But then again, this was informed on hotels.com before we arrived. Very short way to the beach, nice rooftoop lounge nd pool. Not so big pool, but enough to cool down.

This hotel is modern, aesthetic, and super clean / new. Champagne when you check in. Staff is super nice and Alex is awesome! I hope Uma House continues to have the same level of personal boutique hotel feel and quality as they get more popular cause they are definitely doing it right now! Also, the rates are reasonable and would love for them to stay that way. Overall, wonderful hotel.

Lovely stay. Rooms are spacious,well-equipped and spotless (as are the entire premises- thank you to the housekeeping team!) Location is perfect- right across from the beach and just a few blocks from Lincoln rd. Cafe next door is great and as hotel guests, there is a 15% discount. Staff is polite. I want to send a special thank you to the front desk manager who was prompt, professional and kind in addressing a situation that arose during my stay. I would definitely stay there again.

Great location. Excellent staff especially Claudia, Gloria, Alex the great! (You are awesome Alex), Guido and Dario. Thank you very much. We enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to stay there again before flying back to Germany. Keep it up! By the way, the sparkling wine is also very good šŸ˜Š. Best regards, Cynthia and Benjamin

We stayed for 4 nights in Uma House. The rooftop pool isn't so big, but not a deal breaker. They offer free chairs at the beach (you still need to pay $22 for an umbrella). The room was clean and I didn't have any problem with the housekeeping. The location is good and there are also free trolleys to south leaving from the corner. They offered us early check-in and luggage drop-off on the last day, these were really convenient. Great for the value.

Hidden gem of a hotel right off Collins avenue. This property opened in Feb of 2022 so all is new. Room was cozy, clean and had all you need to have a comfortable stay from coffee machine, great quality mattress and a great speaker. Good shower pressure and overall quiet and spacious. Roof top and pool available about 20 feet away from the property. The lobby is beautifully decorated and the staff is super helpful and greets you with a glass of Prosecco upon arrival. Bakeries, restaurants and shopping all within walking distance. Highly recommend this hotel for your next South Beach stay.

Had the best experience here for a weekend! We were able to get early check in (with a free upgrade!) and the staff was very friendly. Cleaning services were superb, and the rooms were very updated and clean. The location was also perfect since it was walking distance to a lot of stuff and only a 10 min Uber to further down south beach. Felt very safe and loved everything about it, highly recommend

Spacious and basic rooms but the sound insulation is poor (can hear noise from upstairs, next door rooms and corridors) so this was a bit annoying. The facilities feel a bit old and tired and the roof pool was closed for refurbishment so we only stayed two nights and checked out 2 days earlier. I didnā€™t feel this was good value for money sadly.

  • 1/5 Joe M. 2 years ago on Google
The rooms are clean and the location is great but the pool and the pool deck are closed for repairs. There is nowhere to get some sun or lounge around at the hotel. There is no rooftop bar. Yes, you can sit on the sofa in the lobby or the chairs outside but that's it.

  • 1/5 Gabriella H. 2 years ago on Google
Stayed here for an extended weekend and it was great. The hotel is small but clean and up to date had no issues with the staff. But i wont be coming back to stay simply off the strength they charged me 14$ because my makeup ā€œstainedā€ a pillowcase and wash clothā€¦. I travel quite frequently and have NEVER been charged over a stained washcloth because Bleach exists. This review might seem petty ā€¦ but so is that charge.

Great place to stay for a quick trip to Miami. My boyfriend and I were here for a few days and wanted a place that was close enough to the action but not blasting music til 2amā€¦and the Redbury was perfect. The beds were great, shower was great, the AC was great, we actually got a kick out of the record player in the room and had fun listening to that. It was also really nice to have a sister property with beach chairs and umbrellas for rent, which are only $20 for the whole day. The hotel overall was updated, looked nice and smelled great but still unique and very Miami. Weā€™d definitely stay here again. Weā€™re happy with our choice when trying to find a mid-tier hotel that doesnā€™t break the bank but makes you feel truly on vacation. Also - we met the hotel manager or owner (middle aged guy) who was so so helpful when it came to where to eat and what to do. He seemed to know everything and gave us some great spots to check out. If only we wouldā€™ve chatted with him our first night instead of our last. Overall, 10/10 stay!
