Perfect escape from busy South Beach! great place to relax under the trees and getting some refreshing shade while listening to the water splashing in the ponds and fountains, it is truly a beautiful and well maintained garden, great collection of orchids and many other plants and flower varieties, also some animals like koy fish, turtles and multiple lizard and bird species.

Cheap parking in mall after Pride Park. Entrance free. Gardens are amazing, perfect with kids of all ages. Free toilets available near cafe.

I am in LOVE with this place. It's so serene and beautiful. It's a free garden, you just have to pay for parking. Charleston will never have anything like this! I can come here to gather my thoughts and enjoy nature. My go to spot when we come to Miami🥰 a little taste of PARADISE!

The botanical garden looks small from far but it's actually a big place I enjoyed myself here. It's really beautiful and well taken care. It is also free. The parking is street parking. You have to pay the meter. Plenty of parking all around the street. This garden is located near the convention center so parking is not a problem. The garden has two entrances. At the entrance a map is displayed with a path. I followed the path. It's a really nice path. It takes you all around the park. Inside the garden there are nice sitting areas around. This garden smells so good. Trees, plants what ever it is. I liked the sent of this place. The flowers and butterflies where my favorite, so many. The place is very clean. Bathrooms are located inside. I saw a gift shop inside and a place to buy plants. I wish I had more time to stay here.

Such a beautiful park!! Except for a small encounter with a little raccoon but he was harmless. They have such great views and they even sell some reasonably priced plants! They also got a little ice cream/ yogurt place inside to freshen up. 🙌

This place is beautiful. I use an app called seek and it will identify plants and animals/insects so I walked around for hrs identifying different species. I love the banana/plantain trees!!

This tiny garden is an underestimated place to have a calm afternoon, to reed a book, sip a drink, play with a kid or just watch beautiful nature. The park is free and open till 5 pm. It is very well cared about, and there are no many people here.

This is a really peaceful place. The botanical gardens have an area for events, a reading space if you're looking for a break from the convention center and just opportunities for a nice stroll through the park!

So beautiful and relaxing. I loved walking around and looking at all the different plants. There were also some monarch butterflies flying around, so that was awesome to see. Such a cool place to go for a stroll or to sit and relax.

Beautiful oasis, free entry, and greeted on arrival by 4 different species of butterflies. Saw several more while there. Lots of information on conservation efforts in Florida and plants and animals brought back from the brink of extinction. It’s small but they’ve really made the most of the space. Fantastic little gem when you need to beat the heat and find a bit of shade!

Such a beautiful garden! We took a couple laps through the grounds just to make sure we soaked in all its beauty. Love that the admittance is free. We paid for our kids to feed the fish and bought a Miami souvenir from the retail shop. Great spot for a picnic or coffee date.

Very pretty small botanical garden with such beautiful displays. Loved the hidden art in between the trees & plants. Person at the cash register in the gift shop was absolutely lovely. Was amazed at the eco-friendly products sold inside like the milk carton water. Definitely recommend as a must do.

The gardens are located a few blocks away from Lincoln Road. Spent the morning strolling around the gardens and admiring the flowers and plants. There is a small gift shop. .

The Miami Beach Botanical Garden is a beautiful place to enjoy nature, learn, relax and have fun! It’s is in the hearth of Miami Beach and is an exciting location, they have many activities throughout the months. We have been there for family crafting days, Japanese celebration and special events, amping others. The staff is super friendly and always willing to share information with the guests. The garden is not super big, but they have a great variety of plants from different places, a Japanese Garden, and many green areas where you can relax and enjoy a sunny day. It’s a great place to take beautiful photos. Our entire family loved it and we are always looking forward to come back. 100% recommended 👍

The beauty of the Gardens exceeded our expectations and was by far the most magical experience for our special day. We held our ceremony in front of the banyan tree during sunset and I can't express how unreal the Gardens looked. There were butterflies fluttering all around, rays of sunlight passing through the palms, tiny bunches of orchids blooming, and brilliant varieties of green everywhere. Seriously ridiculous, the type of stuff Disney movies are inspired by. Our guests were in disbelief that such a magical place existed in the middle of Miami beach. The day wouldn't have come together without the guidance, hands on help and fresh spontaneous ideas of the garden Events & Programming Manager Maurice Jackson. This man is the absolute best!!!!! He doesn't miss a beat, and when you need that boost of confidence for a "crazy idea", he helps you make it real within reason. The Gardens were very clean and a perfect size for our 100 guests to roam around freely and safely while still being able to hear the music playing on the dance floor while also having multiple bars within reach scattered about the grounds. It's also beautifully lit at night so minimal lights are needed, leaving room for fun lighting decor. Lastly, we chose the premium liquor package and received zero complaints from guests. We would 10/10 recommend the Gardens for your event or wedding! Communication is stellar and they make your day all about you. We will cherish the Gardens through our pictures forever. One last bit of advice, if you're having a late night wedding, add the 40/100 clear tent in the great lawn to bring it all together. Guests were able to still enjoy the Gardens while eating dinner with no threats of rain to worry about. Love, The Gillettes

I make it a point to find a green space in every city I visit and this is one of the best I’ve ever been to. It’s free, well maintained, has koi and turtles, and even some luxurious architecture hidden among the trees. Bring some books and visit the Little Library near the garden center.

Well curated, lush plants and ponds to stroll around. Lots of shade on a hot day. Free entry! There is a very well done holocaust memorial on the corner of the grounds too.

This isn’t a very large botanical garden (you could walk round all of its paths in a quarter hour if you wished) but it’s a beautiful and tranquil oasis in the city (and a nice escape from the nearby massive convention Center, if you’re attending an event there) so a good place to relax. It’s free to enter and has a lovely koi pond with some pretty big fish in it.

Probably my favorite spot to get away from the craziness of Miami Beach for a little nature getaway. They sometimes have events over here also like yoga and orchestra that play here the other day

We had a good time at the garden. Free admission was awesome. The garden isn’t that big, but we saw butterfly, iguana, koi, gecko, and all sorts of tropical plants and beautiful orchids. There was a path connecting to the Holocaust Memorial. Parking: You have to park at the convention center across the street for a $20 flat rate fee. Highly recommended!

I have lived in Miami Beach for over 20 years and never knew about the Miami Beach Botanical Garden. I especially admired the different types of beautiful orchids going on the trees. It's also a perfect venue for a public or private event.

My husband and I took his parents here; it was also our first time visiting the gardens since coming to Miami. It was beautiful, and the pictures don't fully do it justice. Very nice area and lush greenery galore! Highly recommend visiting the Botanical Gardens.

What a gem! I can't believe this place is free. It's gorgeous, filled with a wide variety of really beautiful and interesting trees and plants, tons of thriving orchids, lots of lizards, koi, and turtles... just a wonderful place to spend and afternoon. Perfect for kids, couples, or solo travellers. You can buy fish food in the central store for $1!

What a wonderful oasis amid the heat and concrete of Miami Beach. We spent a very leisurely couple of hours here—though you could certainly do it in less time. Tons of shade and several places to relax. I have never seen so many butterflies in my life! The place is extremely clean and even the staff and workers are very friendly. The variety of tropical flora is staggering. My personal favorites were the talipot palm and sea grape tree (see pictures). A short walk across the way to get to the Holocaust memorial. Overall a very memorable visit.

It was a lot smaller than I expected. When I went there in December there were no flowers on display. Only a ton of trees which was a little disappointing. At least it was free. A nice place to walk around and relax in.

I wish I could give this place 10 stars! Not only is it free but it's amazing. There's so many little hidden gems and wonders. I like that there's not a lot of signs so you have to find them on your own. I'm sure it would be great for kids or couples on a bored day.

Extremely beautiful here. It’s quiet and peaceful. You can barely hear the noise from the street. It’s a good size, not overwhelmingly large. There’s also a shop to buy plants to take home. There’s cute cats that live in the garden too. I think they’re siblings.

This place is beautiful. An oasis of tranquility. I really recommend it. Great to go with kids, just walk around, explore. We parked in the Miami Beach Convention Center Parking (right across the street), if you validate the ticket in the Botanical Garden gift shop you pay $2 per hour (at least that is what I paid).

Being a flower-lover or not or searching for a relaxing and stunning spot in Miami, you cannot miss the Miami Beach Botanic Garden. It's beautifully and seamlessly arranged, it has zen spots, koi fish (you can buy food and feed them 🥰), beautiful orchids in full bloom and much more. Just pop in, there is free admission and you can enjoy a refreshment in the shade.

The perfect Miami outside day 🥰. This spot is a local favorite and a popular tourist attraction as well. Good for dates, family, friends, or a solo stroll. I would anticipate that your walk could take anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours (depending on how many roses you stop to smell 😉). Miami Beach Botanical Gardens offer a beautiful array of flower specials, tropical plant life, fish, turtles, and of course, a plethora of lizards. The garden is pretty equally decided between shade and full-sun-exposure… so be sure to think about sunscreen and/or a hat. Parking is handled through the park-mobile app which is widely used all over Miami + downtown area. Would definitely recommend on a *cooler* Miami day if you can find one out of the 365 hot ones. Would recommend to any Miami friends!

Fun and peaceful garden with lots of awesome plants and some animals. Koi and turtle pond, can buy food for $1 at the gift shop to feed the fish. Took just over an hour to walk the whole garden but it was a nice break from the city and the beach. Worth a visit for sure!

Oasis in the center of SoBe, they have a few tropical plants, but it's kinda small and really nowhere to run when rain starts. Stuff is friendly, and store is pricy though.

Amazing and beautiful place, plus free entrance. Nature is frozen right now where I leave in Canada. To hear the sound of running water, see this green space, the butterflies and hear the birds, while still in the city was very soothing
