This place is a gem in the heart of Miami beach. Phenomenal food,great ambiance and the most Important service was super attentive and helpful. Crab cake and octopus is must try. Special thanks for our server Maria. We will definitely come back!!

A food and hookah place near South Beach. We were strolling around and walked in without reservation. Host was gracious to accommodate us. They have this cheese dish which the server comes and light on fire. It’s quite a show. Hookah is also well maintained and served well. I will recommend this place!!!

Love this place!! Great energy. Great food and drinks, and great service. Really lovely staff here. I was walking by and something caught my eye. The positive vibe perhaps... Christina - who is 100% lovely - recommended the Cheese Saganaki and it is truly one of the best appetizers I have ever eaten. They set it on fire 🔥 ! Crispy, chewy, savory. Sooooo good.

Amazing atmosphere, quality of products and service. We came after dinner for hookah. If you understand hookah and smoke regularly you will definitely appreciate the long lasting flavor and attention to detail from the friendly staff. The place offers the most delicious Turkish baklava and an assortment of other dishes. We were delighted to meet the management during our stay, and will definitely be back in the future. If you are looking for a sophisticated, tasteful experience - Salt Cafe is the best option in South Beach.

Salt cafe wings The (South) Beach Plaza Hotel. I had dinner and lunch there. From what I could tell the front and right portions of the cafe are sidewalk view and 'quiet', while the left side is kind of more of a 'party side' offering hookah, misting fans, comfortable seating and cute wall display panels. They have standard food variety but unfortunately the preparation of my dinner order was about 50% good, and on another day when I had lunch I saw it listed for a meal discount which was not applied to either because they don't bring it up to you despite being a guest at the hotel. I think this is unnecessarily thirsty not to be mentioned by neither the cafe management - which I had direct interaction with due to the outcome of my dinner service, nor the front desk upon checking in because apparently they seem to only honor this if you ask for it to be applied although they add gratuity into every bill.

I visited the restaurant for breakfast. I loved the ambience of the patio. It is really nice and shaded(important cause the Miami heat is no joke). It was a bit noisy as it is off the road but the plants provide an illusion of an escape. I ordered the veggie omelet and an iced latte. It was satisfying. The portion size is ideal, but the flavor is just alright. The wait staff was respectful, attentive, and followed through on my requests for sauces, spreads etc. I would recommend this place for a "no fuss" breakfast.

Picture doesn’t tell the story; I had already started eating and Shared😛 For starters, Christina, is AMAZING! Her recommendations did not fall short and her customer service is extraordinary. Second the seafood pasta & salmon were the best we had in Miami🙌🏽 Great vibe on Collins. Don’t pass this place up; it doesn’t disappoint❤️

My husband and I had dinner here with friends on a Monday night. It was delicious. Our server, Kristina, was amazing! She knew the menu very well and made some awesome suggestions. We had the cheese safanaki as appetizer and it did not disappoint! We had the Branzino, which was a top favorite, and the Chicken Milanese, which was simple, but good. The menu was very pricey, as is everything in Miami, so be prepared to spend a good amount of money on dinner. We enjoyed our service and the food. We would return.

After being disappointed with some of the restaurants on ocean drive, my friend and I came across this hole in the wall cafe that was next to the hotel we were staying. We were greeted by friendly waitors/waitresses, we ordered the Tuna sandwich and the lobster roll and we were not disappointed at all! Food was fresh, flavorful, and saucy. Service was perfect. Definitely coming here again!

AMAZING seafood! We highly recommend the grilled octopus appetizer. I was really happy with the location and the prices as well for lunch. We had a cute spot on the patio which was perfect for people watching. Its one block west of Ocean Drive on Miami beach so there's a lot of shops and things to do nearby. We took a long walk afterwards. The service was a bit slow (it was a Thursday and the place was not crowded but I think they might have been understaffed) but on vacation time isn't as much of a factor so it didn't bother us. I highly recommend this great place! The quality of the service was excellent.

Amazing place, amazing staff! They will take care of you! The music is not too loud! Amazing for conversations and to take zoom meeting (which is what i did lol) . Our server Angela was also amazing! Such a sweetheart! The White Sangria is amazing and Christina is exceptional. She is very welcoming and she will make sure you are taken care of. If you guys come to Salt make sure you say hi to Christina and Angela xoxo! Amazing experience by far!💓

According to our waitress, they don’t customize meals (aka remove something from the meal) so what’s on the menu is what you get. I find that to be odd as most restaurants let you remove items especially if you’re allergic or have food sensitivities… so I had to wait until their lunch menu was up and get something else. Other than feeling that situation was odd, the food was fine.

The food was excellent , good services, wonderful ambiance . Cristina manager is amazing, very friendly, good recommendations and helped us with everything that we need. For sure we will come back here . Cristina made our night more enjoyable and memorable in this place! Thank you Salt Caffe for your people!

Salt Caffe was my first dine in experience in South Beach and it was an amazing choice, its gonna be one of my favourites for all times. The food its just delicious, drinks are great and the team is friendly and welcoming. Me and my friend met one of the managers, Cristina, which took care of us and made sure we get all we need. She has good energy and is one of the reasons we go back everytime. Definitely recommend! 🫶🏻

This lobster and shrimp fettuccine was good, but not great. The sauce was not as thick and flavorful as I prefer but the shrimp and lobster tasted like swam right onto my plate!!!!

very interesting concept. they have a full restaurant with a very nice porch that looks onto the street, and then also have a hookah lounge on the side with a bar that stays open and serves food late. came here once for the late night hookah and drinks and once for breakfast and mimosas. the food was very very good. very nice presentation and good flavors. however yhe server we had for breakfast was just awful. she kept forgetting our order and came back over 3 times to confirm it. she messed up two of our ordereds. someone at our table wanted olives for his bloody Mary and he had to ask numerous times to get it even with her constantly coming back to the table... among other things. overall I do like this place. it's very pretty, right near the beach in a prime location. but service could be much much better
