Restaurant Cafe Bar Coffee shop

👍👍 Stumbled upon this cozy spot on Friday night. Even the walkway to the restaurant is intriguing. There was live jazz, the atmosphere was charming and the waitstaff was wonderful. Can’t wait to come back and enjoy some more live music. People often mention coffee, service, breakfast, beautiful, Charlie, spot, great, atmosphere, plants, good,

This place is amazing!! Really worth the visit. The staff is so helpful and kind. The place is so beautiful and calming. It is like eating inside a beautiful cafe in a forest. I really recommend this place. It’s worth the money and it’s very nearby. Should definitely visit!! It is inside and hidden so can be hard to find, but there is a tunnel with a plants that lead you the café.

If you want a good cappuccino, go elsewhere. $7 for a weak coffee that was frankly, more of a caffe con leche. Service was very slow and we never got the orange cake that we ordered. The location is super cool though. You go through a little tunnel of trees/plants and then you’re inside the little covered outdoor area. What a pity the coffee is awful. In the end we spent $17 ($20 including tip) for some of the most unsatisfactory coffee.

A true five star experience. Thank you Javier, Charlie, and Pilar for your exceptional service and hospitality. I wish these fine international students the best fortune in their lives/careers. Whatever involvement they have with the steps of service and quality of drinks/food options is clearly working to the benefit of this cozy hotel/café. Again, I am truly blow away with the aesthetic (zen garden like one’s own private nook), the service (professional yet friendly, and the quality of the food/drinks (the best espresso martini and avocado toast I’ve ever had, plus the fruit was fresh). And i can not forget to mention the coffee was phenomenal. This café offers exclusive quality beans ground to perfection and served in a variety of traditional serving methods (I got the Hairo).

Please note this review is for morning coffee and food only. I understand this business offers cocktails and live music at night so I'm sure it has a different feel during evening hours. My wife and I were in search of coffee and tea and a light breakfast on a Saturday morning and went walking through a jungle path on the corner of 17th and James. We're glad we did. Great food, service, and ambiance. The ambience is probably best described as elegance in a jungle. We liked it. We had a cafe mocha, black tea, and shared an avocado toast; everything was great. This business is located on the east side of the Cadet hotel but, as mentioned above, has its own jungly street street entrance. Recommended!

Charlie and Beto created an amazing atmosphere and service. I arrived 15 minutes before closing, and they offered me drinks and dinner, despite being so close to closing for the day. Theres a live jazz band on Fridays, it was really calming. A perfect hidden gem in a busy city :)

Lovely spot for a calm breakfast or afternoon coffee. The coffee is delicious!!! You sit surrounded by plants under a glass roof and there’s incense in the air and calm music and a nice breeze from the fans. The service is excellent. It’s a wonderful little spot to get away from the busy city.

Really nice spot that has an awesome atmosphere. I’m definitely coming back to read a book and relax. Waiters are very kind and provide great service. Secret gem that we happened to stumble upon.

Charlie made our experience here so enjoyable! He is a craftsman behind the bar - the espresso martinis were easily the best we ever had. I am so glad we found this place and had the pleasure of having Charlie as our server/bartender. Additionally, the food was wonderful too! You HAVE to visit while in Miami!!

This place is a hidden gem! This is the perfect place to do homework, or just have a relaxing afternoon. The service was lovely as well. Thank you to Charlie, Javier and Alfredo for their service, attentiveness and kindness. I would definitely come back! And I will be bringing friends next time! * In the picture below I got a vanilla cold brew coffee with almond milk, ranchero eggs with a side of avocado.

Super nice spot. The design makes it seem like I'm sitting not in the middle of a populated area but a tempered jungle. A bit expensive but you are paying for environment and stylizing of the food. Overall the environment, food, and service were all great.

Very cute place aesthetically and good coffee, with food service. Coffee drinks are all around $17. Giving it a 2/5 for the food since it was very bland, nothing special. Although, the complimentary corn muffins with honey were delicious.

This place was such a great experience for breakfast. It’s set back from the street by lush green plants and feels like an oasis. My boyfriend and I started with espresso martinis— a drink we have almost everywhere we go— and we agree this is one of the best we’ve ever had. For breakfast, my boyfriend got the omelette and I got the rancheros with sausage. The presentation was ok but wow, every bite was delicious. Lastly, but most importantly, our server Charlie was a true professional and a gem! Charlie (who made the amazing espresso martinis) provided exceptional service. Definitely check out this spot in Miami Beach!

Super location! Close to the beach but away from the noise of Collins Av, you enter a tropical oasis, overgrown with plants, a tranquil coffee & breakfast shop, with classical music instead of House music😏 The coffee is really excellent, with beans roasted in-house. Service fantastic too! Truly highly recommended !!

The atmosphere was beautiful, garden like and outdoors. However very disappointed with my choice of food (Avocado toast) I just got raw ingredients and it was $15. Definitely will never get again! Besides that great place.

Super cute ambiance within some trees. Unfortunately the food was only 2/5. The matcha latte was good but the avocado toast was generally pretty bland and quite expensive.

Stumbled on this place in a desperate search for coffee on our first morning in Miami (quick girls weekend trip). The place was beautiful and the atmosphere was superb - the coffee was phenomenal. Extremely pricey however worth it. I wish they had a little more staff as they got quite busy! Would recommend and go again!

I almost don’t want to write this review because I’d love to keep this perfect little oasis to myself, but it’s the season of giving so here you go… Salon du Cafe is a something out of a dream – you enter down a path of palms, feeling as if you’ve stumbled upon a secret garden. Then Charlie greets you as if he just happened to be waiting for you to stop by. The seats are all comfy, the coffee is spectacular, and of course, there are coffee cocktails, which are my favorite! Breakfast is also a scrumptious bit of heaven prepared by Chef Bruno who was kind enough to come out and greet my dog and share his Argentinian sausage source. I can’t say enough about the ambiance, the people, the drinks, and the food except that we’ll be back again tomorrow for more. Don’t miss this little bit of magic in South Beach!
