This place has great stuff, but the lines to pay are outrageous and they don't do anything to change it , lack of respect toward customers.

You will find everything you are looking for, and many things that you aren't (LOL) but make sure you are ready to check out when it is time. The line ALONE takes between 1-2 hours to get through, so plan to be here at least a few hours. I'm shocked they haven't figured out a better system yet because I have seen people abandon their carts due to the fact that the line is so long.

this homegoods store is bigger so the selection of products is usually better, I also like the fact you have the tj max store inside and can buy from both in one shopping trip and one line. I took off one star because after not going for a while during this crazy covid situation I was really excited and with a list of things I only find there, I was disappointed on the inventory, no photo books, no citronella candles, no hand soap, and the list goes on unfortunately.

This place does have good selection of items but the lines are so incredibly and ridiculously long, I have often left things and just walked out. The lines are as long as Christmas Eve on a weekday afternoon! Very frustrating!

Love the store but no one has 2 hours to stand on line. I’ll never go back to this store. My time is precious .

While I love shopping at T.J. Maxx, it is very frustrating to see only 2 cashiers at 10:45am While there is a long line of customers waiting to pay. Other than that, it is a good place to shop at great prices for name brand items. Had there been more cashiers, I would have given 5 stars.

I almost never write reviews but the customer service at this store has to be addressed. I was just at the store, saw a dress that I had liked from a previous visit still on the rack and on clearance from $120 to $29 … almost too good to be true so of course I picked it up. When I went to pay for the dress, the cashier realized that it was missing the red tag that high end items have and NEED in order to be returned if need be. She did her job and also tried to help me by calling over the manager to place the red tag on the dress in case I needed to return it later. The cashier manager immediately checked the price tag started making comments as to how that price HAD to be wrong and told me that I couldn’t take the item she had to confirm something. She took the dress away and came back to tell me that the numbers on the tag did not match the code on the discount red sticker and began to peel off the sticker which was stuck on there so well that she ended up ripping the other discount sticker that was attacked underneath AND part of the purple tag. She came back and told me the new discounted and correct price was $120 … I tried explaining to her that it is not my (the customers) fault that the item was mislabeled and that the fair thing is to honor the price. She did not budge so I asked for her superior. Big mistake, as the man who presented himself as the store manager (Yasmany Valdez) was potentially the rudest, least professional and least well mannered managerial staff I have ever met. He approached already stating that the item would not be reduced under any circumstance, stating I should be grateful he even came over cause he had no reason to and alluding to me having placed the previous price tag on the item myself (even though like I mentioned the tag was clearly not tampered with in any way and was clearly a mislabeling from whichever staff was pricing the discounts). I tried explaining in many ways that a mistake clearly made by the store should be addressed among staff but that the customer should pay the price the item stated originally regardless of the mistake as it clearly is not the customers fault. The man was just arguing back and not willing to budge or admit that it was the stores fault. After much embarrassment as this all happened in front of many other customers and staff and no solution or compromise, He offered a 10% discount which was close to nothing compared to the previously stated price. I accepted and I suppose he didn’t hear me as he abruptly took the item away. The cashier and I both called him back to affirm that I WAS still taking the item as I had fallen in love with the dress already and I voiced my opinion on his lack of customer service skills as a manager and lack of decency and class as a person to which he stated “so do you want the 10% or not?”. Complete disrespect as this was literally the LEAST he could offer and to dangle it as if it was a favor to me was just disgusting. I took the item as he yelled over the counter to “have a good day”. I have lived in the same neighborhood and shopped at this TJ maxx and have had previous encounters with other managers and I have NEVER experienced something as embarrassing as this and have never had to interact with someone so low class as Yasmany Valdez (store manager) in all those years.

Everyone should know that Zack, who will inevitably be the one assisting you in the furniture section is THE SWEETEST, most helpful, customer service oriented young man. Homegoods and all the customers are lucky to be helped by Zack. He turns down tips (very politely no matter how much you offer), ALWAYS has THE BEST attitude, very well presented and professional. While everyone else is in view of each other, I imagine it is easy for his hard work all over the store to go unnoticed, so please be kind to him, appreciate him, thank him, and tell him what a great job he's doing! He deserves an atta boy AND A RAISE! Many thanks!

It’s ok no big deal I drove 40 minutes to go to this one thinking they had better stuff and no is there same clothing as in the other ones by me. The shopping center is beautiful . That it is and has many stores to choose from .

If you enjoy making a really really long line to buy something, this is the right place for you. Or if you like to just hang out and use the restroom, same....

Awful customer service. Tried to return two white pillows, and after making the line I noticed the shopping cart was rusted and had stained the pillows. The manager didn’t seem to care and told me it was make up. I insisted the shopping cart was rusted and that it was not stained before, again not my fault their shopping carts are old and not well kept. My return was denied and I’m now very frustrated, and stuck with two stained pillows. Definitely not going back. The manager was rude and very transactional, didn’t seem to care one bit.

Love the diversity of merchandise for the home. I’ve purchased artwork, towels, blankets, cushions, and so much more at incredible prices! Great place for last minute gifts and name brand items. The biggest downfall is the lines to pay, no matter what time of day or day of the week! When shopping here try to see it in a positive way, just think of all the money you saved!! 😃 There is plenty of parking in the shopping center. I will shop here again in a heartbeat!

Best Home Goods hands down. Went Saturday am. Payment line is too long. Spent an hour shopping and an hour paying. Lines felt like Disney! Claustrophobic lanes. Will be back but during the week!

The best Home Goods in southwest Miami. You can always find something even if you don't need it 💯 😌 beautiful displays, never a dull moment or sight. Only flaw...they should separate tjmax clothes from home cash registers, the lines are too long!

Cirilo does a fantastic job of handling and arranging this store. Great items and always looks good. Would give 5 stars but the one down fall is incredibly long lines at the check out. They need to work on that otherwise great store.

Very crowded and visited store, so quite a bit disorganized. Both are well stocked on many items. TJMaxx's clothing department has all sorts of wonderful things you can find a great prices. Although a bit decorative in nature and some exotic finds, i personally find HomeGoods on the lightly expensive side for many choices, but with a great unique selection

I cannot believe you have to wait in the regular line..... almost 30 minutes to do a return. Then I return an item and have an item to exchange but they waste(and help KILL the planet) a gift card only to use it immediately and discard it. This is the most wasteful company and they should look into the procedures for an exchange. Granted i didn't have my receipt but since they accepted the return, they could've streamlined the process and help the planet at the same time. TJ MAXX needs to be environmentally conscious and not cause this waste.

I love tjmaxx but I have to give this location 3 stars due to the insane checkout line every single time I've been. You need more cashiers. Even during the day during the week the line is super long. I have left multiple times and always witness people leaving the line because it is just ridiculous.

Big store, it is always crowded. Long lines, anytime of the day.. do these people work? Hahaha.. anyway, one of the best ones of their chain. [Very, very low in perfumes though!!)

My therapy!!! Lol. This is one of my favorite locations. It's full of great home goods and decor. I went down every aisle and this store is jam packed with great merchandise.

  • 1/5 Melissa F. 1 year ago on Google
Had to stop going there because the costumer service from the managers is terrible and the lack of they (managers) organization to have an efficient checkout is 0 to none, hence the huge lines at all times. Lines, costumer service and organization used to be better before when there was a diff team.

I love the art selection in this store.

Extremely apathetic people, they ALWAYS have a line of about 35-50 people and with 20 registers, they have 5-6 cashiers open. If this is the case, they should have a line for pregnant women or express less than 3 items lane.

  • 3/5 Al M. 1 year ago on Google
Good merchandise at discount prices. If you have a lot of time to waste this is the place to go. Cashier lines are a mile long.

Great variety! But lines are crazy. Out of 19 registers only 7 working.

Camp out at the checkout! Only come here if you plan on camping 🏕 out at the checkout (Disney Style) line! The lines are always, always super long and winding! No matter what time or day it is. But love their home goods section. Be prepared to wait at checkout.

👍👍 My experience was phenomenal! They were courteous and friendly. They gave me an honest report on the value of my item and gave a very competitive offer for it. I'm very satisfied with my visit and recommend them to anyone who needs the service of a pawn shop that shows top notch integrity!
