Hearty Nicaraguan food was delicious! The restaurant is well lit and somewhat fancy (fountain in the middle of the restaurant and all). The service is good, the servers were actively around the restaurant checking in on each table.

Reviews seemed decent so we decided to go with the kids to dinner. Ordered Vigoron and was embarrassed when I saw the plate arrive. WHO USES BAGGED CHICHARRONES VS FRESHLY MADE? Definitely not an authentic Nicaraguan restaurant. That's an insult. I grew up around this food despite being Cuban and I will say it was mediocre at best. I can find holes in the wall with way better quality food. Portions are good, but who cares if it is just "so so food"? Meat was cooked as requested medium. Rice was on the bland side n not salt wise either. The best part was my take home dessert, pío quinto. Not theee best I've had, but coming from here it was pretty good. Oh and the restaurant had a horrible stench that lingered throughout. Not sure if it was sewage, something rotting or what but not pleasant at all! Let's just say I have zero plans to return. Touché as they so close to my business. Good riddance!

This place has it all, ambiance service and the food is excellent. Located in Miami Lakes it is central to everything with lots of parking. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The menu and excellent service are the winners here, the minute you sit down you are served with bread and water, your server is introduced, and the festivities begin for your mouth. The Big Daddy Churassco is their top steak it literally melts in your mouth. See the pics.

Nice spot. I think it’s my first time dining at a Nicaraguan restaurant. Similar if not the same as most central/northern South American cuisine. Staff were friendly, food was good. Prices are on the higher side for what it is.

First time here, I loved the environment. Service is fast and efficient. Food is good, affordable prices. I loved the salad, perfect vinaigrette and texture. The reason for 4 stars is the pinto rice was mushy and(on my appreciation) had an after taste. But I'll definitely come back. Careful with the berry mojito lol, that vodka is a killer.

My husband and I have been customers to El Novillo in Miami Lakes for more than 20 years, it is about time that we say thank you to everyone that is part of this team even though we always tell them in person, they are absolutely amazing, professional and respectful, and everything in the menu is top notch. My husband Rafael Rojas and I would like to give a special thank you to Ariel the Manager for making us feel so welcome each time. He is professional and goes above and beyond to take care of each costumer that comes into the restaurant makes everyone feel special and taken care of. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We ordered the churrasco dinner and it was amazing. The meat was so tender and it had so much flavor.

We went for lunch, it was really quick and good for the price so perfect for a quick work lunch with colleagues, maybe at night it more fun. You get what you pay for with the executive churrasco which was okay. The staff is really nice. Recommend it if you’re in the area working.

Nice place to have dinner and lunch , the attentive personal will attend you with love and respect. The food is delicious and prices affordable.

The place was rocking on a Friday night but we had made reservations for 8:30 We arrived at 8:20thhhhh and we were seated at around 9:10 the wait was not that bad taking in consideration that the place was packed the service was amazing and the food and atmosphere was rocking I'll definitely will come back and recommend it to everyone.

Local date place!!! Like grandma’s cooking, so worth it! We love Latin food! Orlando doesn’t have to many great places to go that have some good old fashion cooking like grandma made us as kids!!

This place serves the best food. You pay for the meat and all sides and salad, bread and toppings are part of the meal. No extra charge. I love it.

Angel and Anthony had amazing customer service. They really made my lunch with my family a great experience. I will gladly come back this establishment not only because of the great food but specially because of their great service and hospitality. Earned a new customer!

Service needs training and common sense for little things like, why go over 2 guests meal dripping water to serve a guest that is accessible from a proper angle. Atmosphere will improve with this too. Food is still great, thanks.

If you go after 6pm make sure you have a reservation, at least on weekends. The food was good but sadly the chef forgot to add salt and pepper to the meat. My churrasco and the Carne asada were well cooked but no flavor.

When I brought my wife from Nicaragua to this place, the atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable. The air conditioning was working well, and the people taking care of us were nice. The food tasted great, and the portions they served were reasonable, especially considering the expensive menu prices. However, the only thing that disappointed me and made me curious was that they didn't offer any traditional Nicaraguan drinks. They only had alcoholic beverages, wine, and soda.

It was my first time to try Nicaraguan food and I was pleasantly surprised! I had Executive Churrasco (lunch menu) and it was great. Will come back again.

I just recently went with my family and the food was amazing, the only bad thing about this experience was the service. Our server, Ignacio, had the worst attitude the whole time, forgot my drinks and took forever to get my food. His lack of attention degraded my time here, I don’t think I would go back with him as my server.
