A few weeks ago, we relocated from New York City to Florida as I assumed a professorship at the University of Miami. The process of finding the right home proved to be challenging, but as soon as I toured the Sofia, I instantly knew it was the ideal place for us. What truly sets the Sofia apart is the exceptional leasing consultant, Jose Acosta. He goes above and beyond to ensure that residents have everything they need. From patiently explaining procedures to giving us a comprehensive tour, Jose is a rare find. He even assisted us when we had a delivery and were not home, displaying his dedication to helping residents in any way he can. Jose Acosta and the rest of the team truly make the Sofia the perfect residential building in Coral Gables. Not only does the Sofia benefit from exceptional management, but it is also situated in a stunning neighborhood. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful with Target just a 5-min walk. The building itself is immaculately clean and the amenities offered are outstanding, including a large pool, a fantastic barbecue area, and even free espresso. The building also offers a conference room (with a printer free of use), which I have already used multiple times. We have quickly fallen in love with our new home and owe our gratitude to Jose and the entire team for creating the perfect home for us at the Sofia.

I just moved to the Sofia and I love it. The amenities are superb. The neighbors are also wonderful and respectful. I can even get my favorite espresso in the lobby each morning. The apartment is great and quiet with a large terrace. I want to give special thanks to Jose Acosta, the leasing assistant. Not sure I would have taken the apartment without his help every step of the way. He helped me move my deliveries and has ensured that every thing our family needed was addressed immediately. While preparing to move back to Miami from living overseas, I looked at several options. I’ve lived in Miami Beach and the Brickell areas before, and own property there. This time, however, I wanted to live in Coral Gables. Sofia’s page and pictures were the first I saw. I knew I wanted to live there but still asked my realtor to show me around. We saw several rental properties— none of which compared to Sofia’s impeccable appearance and attention to detail. Very instrumental in getting to know the place was its main leasing agent, Jose Acosta. He was cordial, professional, timely, knowledgeable, and confident. He made a very strict application process quick without failing to keep attention to every detail in mind. From the care he took in securing that the process was amicably but professionally completed I knew the property promised to be well run and keep very high standards of living. I’m moving in this week and expect it to be the luxurious sanctuary I’m seeking. Thank you, Jose, for helping me make it happen.

We have been living at the Sofia for 2 months now and so far it has been a fantastic experience! Jose is an excellent Leasing Manager - he was incredibly responsive and friendly, he even took time to give us a video tour of our apartment before we moved in as we hadn't had the chance to see the specific unit in advance. Jocelyne has also been very helpful. You do feel like you are cared for and the whole team work hard to provide great service. We have had a few maintenance requests that have been attended to very quickly and the maintenance team are really sweet. The building is well looked after and so far we have seen many updates to keep the place looking fresh. We have lived in several apartment buildings and this is one of the best so far!

We just moved into The Sofia and are really impressed with the building and staff. Jose in the leasing office did an excellent job and helped us make the decision to lease while moving from out of state through video and in-person tours. We really appreciated his efforts in helping us to make the right decision. All of the building staff have been kind and very helpful during our move. We are very happy to live here.

The team here at Sofia is awesome, especially Jose in the leasing office who made my experience easy and painless. The building is beautiful, meticulously maintained and has the best amenities. Being close to everything in the gables makes this a great location.

Poorly management skills since they have changed their former manager. My daughter lives there for over three years and she’s been having issues with the new staff. She has been harassed by the new manager at the point where she wants to move out! Specially if you have dogs! Watch out if you have animals. 🤬

The team here at Sofia is great, especially Jose in the leasing office who made the experience pleasant and pain-free. The front desk staff are especially attentive. Joyce has saved the day on a few occasions. The place is lovely, meticulously maintained and has great amenities. The proximity to Miracle Mile make this a great find.
