I visited back in December because i heard they have really good arepas that I must try. I loved the restaurant's atmospheric and the holiday decorations. I ordered the arepa de pabellón which included shredded beef, fried plantain, black beans, and white cheese. I also ordered a side of tostones, which also came with shredded cheese as well. The food was tasty. The server was nice, but she did get busy as the number of customers increased. If you visit, definitely try the arepas.

    1) So far so good. Was greeted right away, and was seated at the first available seat. Restaurant was empty on a Thursday at 3pm. Waitress was friendly and recommended the special which was fish. I’ll post an updated review after I received the food. The tequenos(dough potato? And cheese) looks pretty good. I’m going order as soon as the waitress comes back. Just finished the food. I’d have to say pretty good. The plantains or whatever was next to the fish I did not care for. They were a bit hard and dry, but like good in a weird way. Overall great good. A bit expensive for one person I paid $37 but for the food and the atmosphere. It was pretty good. I’d recommend that you come here. I plan on coming back and checking out their breakfast.

Without a doubt Southamerican food is rich in flavor. We went with my husband to grab a quick snack, but when we were checking out the menu, we couldn't decide with so many options. You can have arepas in different ways, I had the Mexican arepa, (fresh guacamole and pico De gallo) and my husband had the arepa llanera (picanha and grilled cheese), the meat was so tender and juicy, that makes your arepa even better. But if you are vegetarian you will be able to find great options for you. Fresh tequenos filled with cheese as an appetizer, and we couldn't leave without an incredible cachapa to go, wow, it was filled with a big amount of cheese, every bite was amazing, arepitas and churros with dulce De leche and Nutella. The service on point, Yeraldine was so sweet and very attentive, she makes the experience even better.

We stopped by to have early dinner with a few friends during the weekend and had a great experience My husband ordered the Tropical burger and he absolutely loved it. I ordered the cachapa and really liked it as well We went specifically to try the flan since I had been craving some for a while and unfortunately they didn’t have it so we ordered the cuatro leches instead and although it was really good, the amount of dulce de leche was overpowering since it is so thick and we had to take more than half of it off Our server was great and everyone we encountered was kind, they greeted us and seated us as soon as we walked in and thanked us for coming when we were leaving

A place where you can enjoy Venezuelan gastronomy. You can try specialties such as “Reina Pepiada”, “ Pepitos”, Cachapas, Pabellón Criollo, and Empanadas. Service has improved since our last visit, specially, by Marcela , our waitress, who was constantly concerned with our wellbeing and our enjoyment -5 stars for her! In my opinion, they should review their pricing policy -they charged us $4 for asking for the milk to be brought separate from the coffee.

Súper delicioso!!! Gosshh Yummy yummy Besides my mom’s food this is the best Venezuelan food. We had as appetizer fries yukies with queso asado and to feel more the Venezuelan tasty we added the perejil sauce. Patacon with churrasco and cachapa “Santa Barbara” it’s come with queso de mano, churrasco and avocado and of course the best beer in the world ♥️ Polar!! The costumer service is great and it is a really clean place including the restrooms. Yamiet was in charge of us and she did awesome.

Best octopus arepas and ceviche! I love love octopus and to find a place that makes it is almost impossible or extremely expensive. He both dishes are reasonable priced and delicious. Also the chicharrón arepa and the fish empanadas were yummy. Definitely will continue going.

We have always wanted to go there. The atmosphere was awesome. The restaurant was clean and organized. The restaurant layout was very comfortable. It brings in a lot of natural light during lunch time. They have a lot of chooses. We might have to go few more times to try everything 😋 The food was delicious. The portion was very balanced. The service was amazing. We had an awesome server. Her name is Nayexi. She gave us the most satisfying service as a customer in a restaurant. We was super helpful and friendly. We definitely want to look for her when we return. We have already recommending others. Atmosphere ———- (A+) Clean / Organize —-(A+) Service —————— (A+) Presentation———- (A+) Foods —————-— (A+) We gave them 10 out of 10 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

This Hallandale Beach location is one of many for this Venezuelan arepa chain. As we arrived around 3 pm for a late lunch there was a bit of a wait even though there was plenty of tables available. The menu is available through a QR code which I had difficulty downloading and zooming in. My wife with a different phone didn't have that problem. We ordered a couple of meat arepas, patacones and zuca fries. The highlight was the patacon which was super tasty and flavorful. My meat arepa had too much cheese and the meat wasn't that flavorful. Wish there were more sauces to pick from to give it a bit of a kick. We will probably come back soon as the food and service was overall good.

A beautiful little spot with incredible arepas! Raquel was our server and she was very kind, attentive, and knowledgeable of the menu. We both ordered the Arepa de Pabellion and this was my second visit on my trip! Everything was perfect and I will recommend this place for anyone in or around the area! Gracias por todo, Raquel!

Me and my sister had the most amazing time at Doggi’s Arepa Bar! Our waitress Yaimet was so kind and knowledgeable about the menu!! She was very attentive and always had a smile on her face. The atmosphere was beautiful and the food blew my mind. I am an arepa connoisseur and this was by far the best arepa and dessert I have ever had!

Doggies Arepa Bar is a simple but delicious culinary gem, serving consistently exceptional Venezuelan fare in a casual, vibrant setting. Their freshly made arepas, filled with an assorted combination of fresh cheese, sweet plantains, beans, and meat or chicken, are all delicious. The yuca frita with cheese starter is a must-try, perfectly paired with their tangy side sauces. My personal favorite dishes, the 'Arepa Pabellón' and 'Reina Pepiada. Their 'Fresco de Maracuyá' offers a refreshing complement to all dishes. Don’t miss the churros for desert.

Nice lunch at Doggis. The tequenos were excellent, arepas were deep filled and of a good size. The passion fruit juice was very watery and on top of it they filled the glass to the top with ice cubes! Not very keen on the juice, sorry Doggis. Guasacaca lacked taste as it appears it was mainly mayonnaise. Service was efficient and very friendly. Overall it was a enjoyable experience that I’d like to repeat next time I’m in the area.

Clean and comfortable space. I have been to dozens of Venezuelan places in the Miami area and this is definitely the top one. The food was amazing, lots of choices (most Venezuelan places have limited variety) and the service was very professional and personable. Nayexi made our experience unforgettable!!

Overall: spectacular service, atmosphere, and delicious food! This is my second time here and each time has been amazing. Highly recommend coming here. Ask for Jessica, she’s amazing! If you’re hungry, this is the place to eat! _____ Food: Large variety of items to choose from. Great selection of street food and traditional restaurant entrees. I’ve had the whole fried fish, burger, and tostone burger. Each was amazing. Their appetizers are great too! Try their tequenos! The coffee here is always great, try their espresso! Atmosphere: Every team member is very friendly and welcoming. I’m new to Venezuelan cuisine and every time I’m here they always guide me in the right direction. They are always packed, so if there’s a line or a long wait time, definitely wait because the food is worth it! Despite being packed and busy, the team is still welcoming and friendly.

I can imagine the regular options are good, but the vegan food options are not tasty. Definitely room for improvement. Arepa Vegana was missing the mushroom, might have been good if they actually included it. Arepa baba was absolutely horrible however. Would never recommend.

I came in for Brunch and couldn’t be happier with the food and service! Naye was the nicest girl ever, I am from Guatemala and wanted to try their arepas for the longest time and she kindly suggested the Arepa Llanera which is just amazing. I also got to try the Malta for the first time and loved it! Couldn’t recommend this place more!

This mini chain serves several signature venezuelan dishes like arepas, cachapas, empanadas, venezuelan style burgers, and a lot more. Just check out their menu. We tried the fried snapper and arepa Santa Barbara and both dishes were excellent. We also ordered some juices and chicha. The chicha is the best I have tasted this side of the Americas. Definitely a place you can bring your family and friends to. Very friendly staff.

A really amazing and tasty experience. In simple words I can say that Doggi’s Arepa Bar has the most beautiful and loving vibe I ever seen in a restaurant. The food and the service was great, we went on my birthday breakfast and I love the Desayuno criollo, the flavor of the meat is really well achieved, I felt like going back to Venezuela for one sec for how many options they have in their menu, if you’re trying to find good authentic Venezuelan cuisine and a good everyone y, Doggi’s Arepa Bar it’s the place you’re looking for.
