Mandarin Oriental is my favorite hotel in Miami. It is located in Brickell Key across from Brickell city center. It was love at first sight in August 2021. Since then I have chosen to stay again in July and December 2022. Everyone in the hotel is attentive, detail-oriented, passionate, helpful, and professional. They treat MO members very well: each stay members can select two out of eight perks (breakfast, spa credit, fast WiFi……). Each corner of the hotel is well maintained even it was built years ago. I highly recommend the breakfast. It is the most well curated breakfast I ever had in the USA. The service is impeccable. The coconut by the pool is also a must. Yoga on the beach elevates the experience to another level. The location is private and ‘isolated’ from the crowd. See you soon, Mandarin Oriental!

This hotel was excellent. The room is spacious, intelligently laid out, and well decorated. The staff is attentive and helpful. And we especially loved the large gym, and spa with a sauna, which was included with the room. We even saw a Manatee swimming in the water from our window!! I highly recommend this hotel, and will likely stay here again next time I visit Miami. There was one issue where I locked out of my locker in the gym accidentally, and it took a while to get this resolved. However. The front desk was very helpful, and I left my stay extremely impressed with the service of the Mandarin hotel Miami.

We stayed 3 nights at this beautiful hotel. We received immediate 5-star hospitality at arrival (greeting, drinks, services). They were on top of it! Beautiful view from our room, restaurant and bar offers great food, nice pool, we received all around great accommodations. Conveniently located to everything. Would gladly stay again and highly recommend. 🏆

Best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Someone had the apparently genius idea of putting blackout curtains on two railings, so there isn’t that sliver of light that somehow happens to hit you right in the face every morning at the 1k a night resorts. Food is phenomenal, bartenders are top notch and not afraid to admit it, and they have free cigar rolling and yoga classes on various days. Incredibly cool resort. If you’re disappointed it’s because you need to reevaluate your life.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary in July and loved our gorgeous room with a private balcony and incredible views. The pool was heated to a comfortable temperature and lit up for a very cool experience swimming with a view of the Miami skyline after dark. The amenities were impeccable, the service professional and friendly, and the location unbeatable. We'd love to return soon!

Prior to staying, I looked into reviews for Mandarin Oriental Miami. There were obviously great reviews, but I noticed some people stating the service isn’t up to par. I could not disagree more after staying in this hotel. The service was outstanding. Overall, my stay here was really great! Pros of Mandarin Oriental Miami: -Service was outstanding! - Location is beautiful and quiet. Quick walk away from great restaurants. - The hotels restaurant, La Mar, is amazing and a top place to eat in Miami. - Rooms are great, though slightly outdated. -Pool is nice and relaxing, right near the water. - Gym has great equipment, including Peletons. Would enjoy more equipment however. Cons: - Food is pricey for in room dining, pool bar dining, breakfast, etc. I do not mind high prices, however the quality of the food needs to match the price. It does not. Overall, would highly recommend this hotel whenever in Miami. I will definitely be staying here again.

Fantastic hotel. True 5-star experience on Key Brickell, which is a man made, private island. MO has a great location, overlooking the city and the bay. Rooms are great, with foyer / bathroom / bedroom / balcony setup. Service is excellent, on par with 5-star hotel. FOMO members get great treatment. I recommend this hotel over many other "hipster" hotels around Brickell City Center.

Beautiful drive into the resort as a first impression. I'll start off by saying overall it was a good hotel and I would come back for the views and location. The main reason for not 5 stars is the fact their gym is going through renovations, and they had the audacity to put a couple of stationary bikes and a chest press machine in 2 adjoined hotel rooms. That's right, 2 hotel rooms at a 5 star hotel. Great service from bar staff and breakfast buffet was as expected at a hotel this caliber. No upgrade is available through the FHR program, but service was still great.

The Mandarin Oriental is our favorite hotel in Miami. Located in Brickell Key, it's right in the middle of some the best shopping and restaurants in the Miami area and just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Miami Beach. This is our third time staying at this hotel, one of our critiques the first two stays were that the hotel's decor needed to be freshened up they have done that. We stayed in a Junior Bay Suite this time and absolutely loved the room. The terrace wraps around and the views are fantastic. From a service perspective the Mandarin Oriental Miami is truly 5 stars, I couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough for a sophisticated stay in Miami.

I love this hotel so much! It’s so beautiful, has incredible views, and has it’s own private sand/beach area on top of the pool which was so helpful with our toddler. The service is some of the best we’ve ever experienced. Housekeeping went out and bought me an eye mask during their own personal time on the way to work since I forgot mine which was so incredibly kind, the pool staff works so hard and goes above and beyond. They also do a great job taking precautions with Covid. Every staff member I saw always had their masks fully covering nose and mouth even outside all day in the heat. The food is also awesome and the spa is great. Thanks to all of your staff for making our trip even better!

Great location! I love the jogging trail around the hotel. It's on the water and is also surrounded by magnificent tall buildings. I definitely would come back. The room was nice. The restaurant food was good. The fitness center is a little bit gloomy. The front desk service was great.

My vacation week was fascinating and worth remembering. It was a prestigious and notable hotel that I planned to stay for the week. Everything that I needed was present on the suite that I am staying in. Amenities, furniture, and delicious foods were all there. Also, I loved the fact that the valet that I trusted was loyal and trustworthy to me. He made me feel like I was a one-week Queen at their hotel. All I could see was astonishing to my eyes and overwhelming to my heart. The place was secured, and the people were happy with each other. Till next time!

From check in to checkout, everything was 5 Star about this hotel!! As soon as you walk in they greet you with green tea as a refreshment. Everyone on the staff is always smiling and treats you like a king or queen. The first night there we visited the bar downstairs near the lobby. It was amazing! It was like watching an alchemist in a laboratory creating concoctions especially for you. They use all fresh ingredients and top shelf quality alcohol. It was a wonderful experience. The next morning we ordered breakfast via room service. They came into the room and set up a table by the window so we could sit near the window and enjoy the view. It was fantastic. Everything was cooked perfectly, fresh and made to order. Later we ventured down to the pool and enjoyed the light breeze while being waited on by the pool bar servers. They bring around complementary carrot juice shots and free waters. Overall our visit was perfect . I would go back anytime just for the view and that room service all over again. I really can't wait to go back, the only bad apart about the experience was going through Miami traffic, but that's not something the hotel is responsible for. 5 stars all day everyday.

Hotel is just average, a bit disappointing, and the standard room we had was not the premium room we had booked and been assured we would get. But the staff are wonderful and work hard to please the guests. The location is very convenient to the port area for those who need a pre- or post-cruise hotel. But overall it was not the quality of hotel/room I expected and does not come close to a 4-star hotel experience.

Tucked away off the beaten Financial District track, is this splendid hotel that offered first class service. We came here for drinks at the MO Bar - which was our second time, as we had been to the one in Singapore. The service and setting was beautiful. The hotel was incredibly maintained, with very polite staff and our server at the bar helped us with recommendations of places to go. A beautiful view overlooking the bar, with the sunshine hitting the right spot, made it more luxurious. Great spot for drinks and chill. I am sure a stay here is just as incredible too.

Immaculate hotel and stay. I’m bias as I like the Brickell Key area. It’s in the heart of Miami, but you are detached from the city (unless you across the bridge) This is a five star hotel, without question. You get the views, you are treated and taken care of from the staff. The staff (at least) seem to be very nice and happy. Valet parking is $50 dollars a night. Pricey? Absolutely, but again you know what you are paying for, secondly it’s just how it is when you are wanting top quality. My only minor issues (we stayed here for the weekend) the internet isn’t super fast and our room didn’t have a coffee maker. No issue ultimately, but that’s my only criticisms. Will come back, no question.

The Mandarin Oriental is an excellent choice in Miami. Location is great. The service is impeccable and many choices of restaurants. I love the location, as it offers great views everywhere. A lot of people will come into the lobby to take pictures overlooking the Miami bay, especially late afternoon. I highly recommend walking/jogging around Brickell Key.

Lovely location and staff. Beautiful hotel but definitely felt a little dated. Rooms could definitely use a refresh. Another small thing, would be so nice to have a nespresso machine in the room.

We had an amazing stay. Starting with the service, the staff is very professional, always with a smile on their face, the food was tasty and the restaurant has a beautiful view, and the room also had a wonderful view of the bay and the city. Everything was impeccable. My boyfriend and I can't wait to come back to Miami and stay again at this hotel

Best Service I’ve ever experienced! I love this hotel. I travel often for work and fun and this place exceeds my expectations every time I visit. What really set them apart is my last visit when my flight had been cancelled and I arrived with no luggage, tired from a day of delayed flights at the airport and with my puppy in tow. The whole staff just went in to overdrive taking care of us! From Isla at check-in who gave me a room with a “nice, relaxing” view, a chocolate bar to help cheer me up and sent toiletries to my room so I could freshen up to Victor at the bar who not only served me dinner but gave me some grilled chicken on the house for my puppy who hadn’t eaten and a complimentary Mandarin shirt to wear since I didn’t have a clean change of clothes. This hotel is top notch!!!

Breakfast with an amazing view! Good menu for breakfast and they also have a $42 fixed menu option. Our service was little slow and orange juice was also forgotten but that is ok. Liked the view, the food, and the island itself. There is a garage you can park your can in 5 min walking.

We had a wonderful stay while celebrating our wedding anniversary! Louise and Angel at the front desk were very responsive and went above and beyond to make our stay great. The location is unbeatable, and the views are spectacular. I would book again without hesitation!

Thank you for a wonderful stay! We had an amazing time at this beautiful hotel. The staff was always so nice and accommodating, really every single one, the service here is outstanding, at the highest level. Special thanks to Isla (I'm not sure this is the correct spelling of her name) at the front desk who helped us so much, we stayed with our little baby and she was so helpful and was always so nice and graceful, she is a true model of extraordinary service! We had the most wonderful vacation and we highly recommend this hotel!

A stay here warrants satisfaction, their staff provide great service, they have great food either at La Mar or at Mobar with live music. The rooms have an amazing view of Biscayne Bay. The front desk service as in any other Mandarin Oriental was superb. Kudos to Sebastian and Theo! By the pool?? All of them are attentive, but Jose made us feel extra special. To the spa? Ask for Sonia, she has magic healing hands!!

Absolutely amazing hotel and stay!! Had the best time here. I’ve stayed at many other nice hotels in Miami and south beach and this hotel is great!! Strategically located in Brickell key close to everything but far enough away to have a luxurious and relaxing vacation. Employees Jose and Thomas at breakfast went above and beyond. Employee Michael at the pool bar was great. The service all weekend was above and beyond and we felt very valued staying here! Worth the money!

Very good experience and very warm welcome. The pool overlooking downtown Miami and its excellent restaurant service are really a reason to choose this hotel. The rooms are very comfortable with interesting furnishings and the hotel staff very polite and dedicated. The only downside is that the valet-only parking doesn't allow as much freedom and is, in my opinion, far too expensive. All in all, a very good hotel for one night or a longer stay.

Stayed here Sept 2023. Front desk staff, pool staff were awesome, and the room was amazing. Only problems were the porters and valet staff. Were seemingly absent and not proactive in moving our luggage, we did it ourselves. Valet experience was chaotic, communication amongst them was absent and resulted in a near fender bender. One porter saw me pulling a cart with my luggage and carrying a bag, and proceeded to look away/walk away from me. Not sure if this is typical for the hotel chain but most luxury hotels have good porter and valet service. Hopefully our visit to the Madrid location will be better.

Stepping into this Mandarin Oriental location was akin to entering a sanctuary of refined elegance and impeccable service. From the moment I arrived at the front desk, I was greeted with a warmth that instantly made me feel at home. The check-in process was seamless and a testament to the staff, who ensured that my transition from traveler to guest was seamless with a friendly attire and some fresh tea. The array of amenities offered was nothing short of impressive; attention to detail is evident in every corner, from the meticulously landscaped gardens to the serene pools and other outdoor areas which welcome relaxation. The variety of options available catered to every preference was remarkable and ensured each moment spent within the premises was luxurious. One aspect which truly stood out during my stay was the breakfast buffet. The culinary spread was an absolute delight for my wife and young daughter, featuring a medley of options which catered to all our palates. The fresh ingredients and the artful presentation spoke volumes about their dedication, leaving a positive impression which still remains. The hallmark of exceptional service was truly exemplified when a billing issue arose unexpectedly; the front desk staff handled this situation with a level of professionalism and grace which left me thoroughly impressed. Their prompt and polite resolution not only alleviated my concerns, but also reinforced the notion that guest satisfaction was of paramount importance to this hotel. My stay at the Mandarin Oriental was an exquisite experience with unparalleled hospitality. The seamless check-in process, opulent amenities, and delectable melas we enjoyed created a remarkable experience. The graciousness of the staff further underscored their dedication of the establishment to ensuring a memorable stay, and I wholeheartedly recommend the this location (and plan to return soon)!

I recently visited the hotel, the rooms are really nice and spacious, the customer service was fantastic, and finding parking was really easy. I fell in love with the facilities. We are @truetanmiami, spray tanning studio and we visited the hotel for a mobile Spray Tan. We really loved it!

What an enjoyable trip-mainly because of the quality of service and the views at Mandarin Oriental. The staff is very welcoming-serving a fresh tea at check-in; fruit water throughout the hotel-as well as fresh fruit daily- Housekeeping is wonderful-food is incredible-and the views -can’t beat the views. Sadly they will be closing the location December 2024 for a rebuild-that will take 5-6 years-will miss staying here but look forward to the new hotel opening. Very quiet on the island-no worry of city traffic or city noise. I couldn’t believe they were dog friendly-I’ll be coming back soon and bringing my 4-legged family member next time!

The location of the hotel is magnificent with stunning views but I wouldn’t call this a luxury 5 star. We had a deluxe double, as our daughter was with us, the beds had no headboards and were 20cm off the wall, I had to ask for extra pillows to fill that huge gap. WiFi is extra cost, we had no hairdryer in the room or a coffee machine, things you would expect from a 5 star hotel. It all looks old and tired to be honest. Our luggage’s were left in the lobby after check out, anyone could have walked out with them while we took a stroll. Luckily we did had a great hotel in south beach for a week and this was just one night stop before heading home, otherwise our holiday would have been ruined, so I would not recommend it.

We went for dinner here and the food was delicious! And so we're the margaritas. The service was great and our waiter was very helpful on choices for food and drinks. The best part was the view! It was so romantic I could quite happily eat from this view forever.

We had a great stay at the Mandarin Oriental Miami. Despite the age of the hotel, our room was large, well maintained, and impeccably clean. It was luxurious without feeling stuffy. Being on Brickell key gave us an amazing view. The breakfast buffet was incredible. The chef at the omelet station did a great job. Here's a few issues we had: - Breakfast: I hate to say this, but the service at breakfast was AWFUL. Our server forgot about our table and we were left waiting 15+ minutes just to ask for water (we had to awkwardly flag the server down). Water was delivered 5 minutes later. Given that multiple "manager" looking employees were hovering around the seating area (they stared at their iPads rather than interacting with a single guest), this should never happen. It shouldn't take 20 minutes to get water anywhere, let alone a self described "5 star" hotel. I really don't like leaving negative feedback about servers, but if the hotel isn't staffed to provide full service I would be completely ok with having the drinks be self-service. I will never complain about having to get my own water but when the only way to get water is to ask a server that never arrives, that is an issue! Other than breakfast, the service was near impeccable. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming, from the valet to the front desk to housekeeping. We certainly hope to stay at the MO again, though we might be more hesitant to eat at their restaurants given the problems with the service.

I stayed at the Mandarin Miami for a business conference. I arrived around 8:30pm and just wanted a light bite to eat. I called for room service. There was no answer after 8 calls. Eventually they picked up. I just asked for soup. They said it was at least an hour and a half wait, which was way too long. Then I tried to connect my laptop and phone to WiFi. It didn’t connect. I don’t usually have an issue connecting when I travel. I called the front desk. They put me on with a technician. After 10 minutes of asking me for information I didn’t have, the line went dead. In the bathroom, there was a hole in the wall where a fixture was missing. For a supposedly high end hotel, this one is bad. Definitely don’t stay there.

  • 1/5 Paul S. 7 months ago on Google
Hotel is dated and not up to the MO name. The hotel is being torn down next year and it shows why. TV in my room does not work. I was told they would send an engineer and they never came. $7 for a miniature can of soda with room service dinner - pricing not listed on the menu. I would recommend a different hotel if looking for true 5 star.

The rooms only get 4 stars, but only because the hotel is starting to show its age somewhat. The staff in all departments are amazingly kind and go above and beyond to make your stay as pleasant and relaxing as possible. I highly recommend a stay here when visiting Miami. The location on Brickell Key provides a secure location to explore downtown Miami, Coconut Grove, and South Beach.

We were disappointed with this Mandarin Oriental and will not be coming back. First the positive: the facilities are nice, modern, and clean. Our suite was spacious and had a nice view of the bay. We got a great massage in the spa. The staff at the restaurant was friendly and helpful. Now the downside: the service is simply not up to standard for a 5 star hotel. We are easygoing people, so we don't mind a few issues here and there, but in this hotel we were frequently having to make up for a lack of good service. One day our room wasn't cleaned. So, we called and asked for it to be cleaned. When the housekeeper came, she insisted that she had cleaned the room despite the fact that it clearly wasn't. I didn't mind that the room wasn't cleaned as much as this person calling us liars. Besides that, the pool is small and gets very crowded. The private beach is separate from the hotel, so when you are there you feel forgotten. Frequently we had to go looking for staff to order drinks and food. The sand is definitely not the greatest (if you're someone who likes a good beach, this is definitely not the place to come to). Also, the hotel charges for internet (what is this, the 2000's?) and doesn't offer any streaming apps in their TVs (you can screen mirror your phone, but compatibility is limited).

It was a business trip, and I don't know yet where to stay. I quickly did research and there, I found this hotel which offers a genuine service. I was able to get one room and I just walk in. It was a fast and honest transaction. Highly recommended for both meetings with friends as well. They got a big space and a fantastic pool.

Such an incredible stay at the Mandarin Oriental, Miami. Celebrated my mom’s 55th birthday weekend here and I cannot say enough great things about every single staff member we encountered. They all went above and beyond to make my mom feel special and loved. The spa is amazing and breakfast at La Mar each morning was divine. This hotel will definitely be the only place I stay when coming to Miami. 10/10.

Resort style hotel. What the Mandarin’s rooms lack in modernity, their artistic old world style transports you to a classier time. However the rest of the resort is very modern, chique and cutting edge. If the classic nature of the rooms is not your flavor, the resort makes up for it in being a full service luxury resort with a private beach that is elite yet affordable. The location is unmatched and the staff is extremely accommodating. Highly recommend.

We had such a relaxing vacation at the Mandarin Hotel! The staff is so helpful and kind. The pool was relaxing and quiet with amazing views of the city. I couldn’t find any other hotel with a pool and bar area like this one when I was searching. Their happy hour is literally the best one we have been to so far in Miami as every single drink is unique and delicious. It definitely says something when you see their entire bar area full during happy hour as well as their restaurant packed inside and out. The food is really good here! Everything was so perfect that I regret checking out and staying else where for the rest of my vacation. Had I know the next hotel we were going to stay at wasn’t going to even come close to half as nice, I would have paid extra to just stay. I would stay here every time I visit in the future.

Had a truly incredible stay at the Mandarin Oriental this past weekend. The service was exceptional, and the hotel location is perfect (walking distance to the bustling downtown area of Brickell, but set slightly outside on Brickell Key where it is more peaceful). We loved the spa and every room has a balcony. I would literally go back in a heartbeat, such a fantastic place. Also they have a really great happy hour in the hotel bar and live music on the weekends.

This hotel and the service provided was nothing but a dream. My girlfriend and I went for her birthday weekend and after researching this hotel to experiencing the high quality amenities in person, I left impressed. This place pays attention to so many details to make sure people are taken care of - from excellent valet to being helped by the pool area, the service was refreshing. Not to mention the restaurant and bar inside the hotel were completely unique and high quality experiences.

Oh my, this place is out of this world. Between the view of the skyline, the pool, with pool-side lunch bar, or the restaurant… wow! The rooms were immaculate and spacious, with incredible views. Proximity to dinning was great! We stayed here for a few nights before our boat cruise, which was a 10min Uber ride away. 10/10. Highly recommend!

Stayed in MO, Miami in April. Great location and bay view from the rooms. Service was great. A big shout out to Jose, waiter at the pool side cafe who is an excellent person and serves with a smile always. Thanks, Jose, for bringing me that cup of coffee which was so much needed and was greatly appreciated.

By far the best hotel in Brickell. I tend to do long term stays whenever possible. Top food - even when ordering room service the quality is above what you expect. Epic wine list which is available 24/7. Bar serves all the favourites including items you did not know were your favourites. The suites are bigger and more bright than your average Miami suite. Private 'Beach' on site and Private Pool area too, with non stop service. Bottom line: get a room before your neighbour

Honestly the best service we ever had and me and my husband travel often around the world. Staying at this beautiful hotel for 5 days and we won’t be checking out until Tuesday but I am so impressed by the service that I had to put my review half way to our trip. Clean rooms, beautiful view, top notch service and beautiful ambiance— what more can you ask for. Highly recommend—wish they had branches in Canada.

This was our first time staying at the Mandarin in Miami and we were extremely impressed with the overall experience. It was the start of our honeymoon and the front desk staff (Marcia and Theo) along with the Guest Services Manager, Alexandra, went above and beyond. From our conversations, they picked up on the fact that we were going to France and left a notebook in the room with hand drawn pictures of France as well as a honeymoon guide. The staff also had roses put out in the room and on the bed which was an amazing touch. All the staff was friendly and professional from the valet, front desk, concierge, housekeeping etc. The room had an amazing view of the bay, was clean throughout, the bed was very comfy, and the room was stocked with great amenities you expect at a 5 star hotel. The room service was great as well as the turndown service (good job housekeeping). We truly look forward to coming back to the Mandarin next time we are in Miami!

Wow. Enjoyed my stay there. One of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. The staff is very attentive and just overall great. Did not have a single bad experience the 4 days we spent there. Will never go to another hotel when I visit Miami. Also, the view and rooms are just as great.

Situated on the Brickell Key in Miami with amazing water views. We got a Bay View Room on the 7th floor. Has a walk out balcony. Room and washroom were luxurious. Beds are comfy. Showers are fantastic. Service is top notch. First time at the Mandarin and won't be the last.

From the moment I arrived every staff member was extraordinarily professional and kind. The place is amazing with great views. The outside bar has a perfect ambiance. The bar/restaurant inside is u not to be missed. I was lucky enough to have been helped by Jose, who went out of his way to get me a cocktail I requested. The sushi roll I had was one of the best I’ve ever eaten…impeccable quality. Thanks to everyone involved in making this place run; it was my first time here but it will not be my last. Thank you!!!

Everything was 5 stars! Excellent service, great location, breakfast at La Mar is amazing (special thanks to MiT Arthur). The pool experience and in-room dining was very good. Will stay here next time in Miami!

The suite was spacious and spotless. Great vibe in this hotel. We are @truetanmiami, a spray tan studio in Coral Gables and we visited the hotel to perform a mobile tan for a client, we loved the area! Wish we weren’t just passing through! Thank you! Highly recommend it!

Words cannot express how much I adore this place. The hospitality at this hotel is absolutely best in class, all staff on premise is absolutely wonderful. They currently have their Chinese New Year which is just stunning from the moment you walk through the door. If you are ever in Miami, the Mandarin will take amazing care of you.
