On Monday, February 7, 2022 at 12:49 pm, I placed an ordertogo for 2 Philly Cheesesteaks with the cashier man named Sinclair. When I asked if the chef can toast the buns, I was embarrassed by the rude American female manager who complained how customers want things added at the last minute. She talked about me as if I was not there, But I was sitting in the chair waiting for my food. She complained how customers want to change their order from onion rings instead of fries or how customers want lettuce and tomatoes added. I am a restaurant owner and food truck owner, the first thing is to serve your customers with exceptional customer service. Be kind and respectful and provide them with the options on your menu because Many new customers do not know about the menu. Use your marketing skills to inform the customers to add items or upgrade to their order. Today, I was embarrassed but maybe its because this review was needed to be posted. Also, the burnt fries is not acceptable.

I’ve ordered cheesesteaks from here before and they were good. I decided to give the wings a try as I’ve heard great things. To say they were over cooked is the least of my concerns, the sauce was good yet as I was attempting to enjoy them, I came across a long black hair in my food..absolutely disgusted. I immediately spit out the food and tossed it in the trash. I can get over well done chicken but unsafe food conditions is a 100% turn off. Please encourage your cooks to wear hair nets and practice food safety 101 as you just lost a valued customer.

As a philadelphia native I have been on a quest to find an authentic Philly cheese steak, and this place more than met my expectations. The roll may even be amoroso's, but if not it's definitely an Italian hearth-baked roll which is critical to getting an authentic Philly cheese steak. Superb all around.

Super awesome service and food! This place is a local gem, I will be returning frequently even though it’s quite a drive for me. Its buffalo chicken cheesesteak is amazing, it looks (and tastes) perfect. No filter or posing/lighting, it’s just that perfect. Their Margate buffalo sauce was great, just the right level of spicy for my sandwich. Their fries were also great, overall a perfect meal. I’m coming back to try the rest of the menu, it’s amazing and affordable. 10/10

The cheesesteak sandwich and the chili cheese tater tots were delicious. The sandwich roll was super fresh and soft but wish there were more meat. Tater tots were crispy on the outside and soft inside. Service was excellent. The restuarant is not fancy and lack ambience. The food makes up for the atmosphere. It is still a great place for a simple and quick sit down meal. If you order chicken wings, leave yourself extra time as it is cooked when you order; wings take a little longer to cook.

Comfortable, friendly and delicious! I’m not from Philly but I know how I like my cheesesteak. Spanky’s did not disappoint. Our server, Kennedy, was fantastic!

The food is out of this world delicious. The atmosphere and old style diner vibe is amazing along with super sweet waitresses with great customer service. Stop here and eat it’s great.

Great local joint. Classic style cheese steaks, with some of their own creations (like Buffalo chicken and hot Italian). Fries are cut fresh and the wings are extra crispy. They use real sliced steak too. Perfect spot for a lunch with friends.

OK, I was Shocked! Best damn wings I've had in a long time, love The Margate flavor! These CheeseSteaks might be better than the last ones we ate in Philly! Server was so outgoing and knowledgeable I asked if she owned the restaurant, Nope just a Happy Employee was her reply! We will be back!

Got the Buffalo chicken sandwich but in a wrap instead. Delicious, Great sandwich with a side of Bleu cheese & French fries. Loved it.

If you want a good cheesesteak this is definitely the place, the food is made with authenticity, the chili did not taste generic had good flavor and the Buffalo chicken sandwich was one of my favorite but it can be spicy, a medium had some heat to it. The corn nuggets were the best.

Wow, so I just tried Spankys for the first time. I was in there with another customer that said he drives from Dade to get spankys. He told me I’d be back today. I had to go back to work in Pembroke Pines but if I could make it back today I would. Just about the best cheesesteak I’ve ever had, the bread was so soft, and the steak was to die for. There’s so many other options on their menu that I want to try as well. My wife loves a good cheesesteak. I will be back very soon with my family to dine in, have a few beers and some amazing food. Can’t wait to try more of the food, I’m definitely coming for the tots smothered in gravy,,Exceptional quick service and the friendliest staff that makes you feel welcomed. Wow!!!!!! So I had to add to this review. I just visited Spankys for the second time. I love a good fish sandwich and I love gravy. I ordered the fish sandwich and gravy cheese tots, OH MY GOD THIS WAS THE BEST FISH SANDWICH IVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!!!!!! I SWEAR. That sandwich brought a tear to my eye it was so good, and the gravy tots, they ate like comfort food. Spankys is officially now, my home away from home.

Tasty but not crazy about the Styrofoam to go contain. I'm from Philly and a steak sandwich should be wrapped. Styrofoam causes the food to get soft from steam.

Our waitress was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, very welcoming. This was our first time here, the Food was ABSOLUTELY Delicious! The prices are very reasonable. We will most definitely be back. Thank you

I had a rare craving for a Philly cheesesteak and decided to try Spanky's on my way home. The waitress was nice enough and apologized for leaving me waiting at the table. She appeared to treat both Black and white customers with the same easy, friendly attitude! 😊 The fries that come with the 12--inch cheesesteak could be a meal in themselves, there were so many. And even though they could have been a just a tiny bit crispier, they were delicious and I did my best to devour most of them! 😋 The cheesesteak itself was, unfortunately, underwhelming. While the flavor of the meat was good, whatever type of white cheese they use was extremely salty which took away from the overall experience. 😑But I was really hungry so I finished most of it. Don't judge me. 🤷🏾 The pink lemonade was...hmmm. 😒 Overall I'd try Spanky's cheesesteak again but with provolone cheese and a beer!

I came here tonight because I heard great things about this place. Unfortunately my experience was great with the server but horrible with the food. I ordered the Chicken bacon ranch Philly. On paper and in photos the chicken phillys looked great. I wish I would’ve taken a photo but once I opened my container i was immediately disappointed. I’ve never been sold a cold Philly. When I got to my car I was excited to go ahead and eat my food in the parking lot in which I did. Right away I noticed the sandwich was cold and the cheese was flimsy as if it was starting to try and melt. I put my finger in the sand which to test the temperature and it was cold to touch. The chicken looked like pulled rotisserie chicken which was cold. I don’t know if it’s chicken breast that are already cooked and then they try to warm it up but it did taste as if i was eating leftover seasoning. I don’t want to let this experience ruin the faith in the restaurant because i will say after sitting in the parking lot they were constantly busy. But I will say the chicken Philly is not it. Very bland and the flavor came from the bacons and tomatoes. I will say the fries were good.

I had a craving for Philly cheese steak and this was the place. Amazing! Filled with steak, peppers, onions ( you can add more if you want, I just chose the standard) and just the right amount of cheese. The restaurant is older so not the nicest decor but it's clean and the lady at the counter very welcoming and helpful. They are busy so expect to wait a bit. Will be my go to if I get the craving again! (Who am I kidding, WHEN I get the craving!).

I was invited to go here for lunch yesterday while on vacation from NJ. A girl from the NJ, NY area who has also had Philly cheesesteaks… This authentic Philly cheese steak, met my expectations. I was totally impressed by how good the flavors were. Everything was good fresh and flavorful. The place is clean and the staff were very friendly… I would totally come back here when I come to visit this area again. Screaming to all my NJ, NY Philly people you won’t be disappointed the best worth florida has to offer😜. Nothing like home but came close. 😊

They were very nice, the restaurant did not feel like a south Florida restaurant, which I like! The food was great!! I got the cheesesteak and fries, it was well worth it. The service was pretty fast and I even brought Another one home for my husband because it was so good.

Ordered wings; they were good, somewhat pricey, doesn’t come in combos. 8 wings about $12, side of fries $4. However food is good, made fresh to order! I recommend
