Unpleasant
First
Visit
I
recently
moved
to
this
area
and
decided
to
visit
the
new
Walmart
with
my
son.
I
was
excited
to
explore
the
store
and
make
some
purchases
for
our
new
home.
However,
my
experience
was
marred
by
an
unfortunate
incident
that
left
me
feeling
profiled
and
unwelcome.
As
I
was
shopping
with
a
cart
full
of
items,
I
couldn't
help
but
sense
that
I
was
being
watched
suspiciously,
as
if
I
might
be
up
to
something.
Let
me
make
it
clear
that
I
have
no
intention
of
stealing
anything
and
have
never
encountered
such
an
uncomfortable
situation
before.
To
my
surprise,
an
error
occurred
at
the
self-checkout
machine,
and
a
staff
member
approached
me.
Instead
of
assisting
with
the
issue,
I
was
informed
that
I
had
to
move
to
the
first
lane
to
complete
my
transaction.
This
abrupt
change
in
procedure
left
me
bewildered
and
frustrated.
It
felt
like
a
clear
case
of
profiling,
and
it
deeply
disappointed
me.
I
understand
the
importance
of
security
measures,
but
there
must
be
a
way
to
implement
them
without
making
customers
feel
uncomfortable
and
targeted.
This
experience
has
left
a
lasting
negative
impression,
especially
considering
it's
a
new
Walmart
in
the
area.
I
sincerely
hope
that
the
management
takes
this
feedback
seriously
and
works
on
creating
a
more
welcoming
and
inclusive
shopping
environment
for
everyone.
It's
crucial
to
ensure
that
all
customers,
regardless
of
their
background,
feel
respected
and
valued.
I
urge
the
owner
of
this
Walmart
to
address
these
issues
promptly
to
maintain
the
reputation
of
their
store
and
provide
a
better
experience
for
future
customers.
