This
is
a
VERY
important
piece
of
my
dad's
history
that
I
was
looking
for
THE
BEST
to
keep
it
in
the
best
shape
possible,
and
Heritage
Art
Galleries
&
Framing,
did
it!.
During
World
War
II,
my
father
was
a
soldier,
for
Italy,
found
this
tapestry
(made
in
1854)
hanging
off
of
a
tree
next
to
a
bombed
and
burning
church
in
the
former
Yugoslavia.
By
the
end
of
the
war,
they
had
no
more
supplies,
no
more
food,
they
had
even
gotten
their
shoes
stolen.
Slowly
but
surely
they
made
their
way
back
to
Italy.
Throughout
all
of
this
he
still
had
the
tapestry,
after
he
made
it
back
into
the
country,
he
promptly
decided
to
leave.
My
father
moved
to
Venezuela
where
my
family
has
lived
ever
since,
the
tapestry
hanging
at
our
house
through
these
long
years.
Now,
when
we
moved
to
the
United
States,
we
really
wanted
to
bring
it
with
us,
as
it
is
one
of
the
remaining
things
my
father
left
my
mom,
it
is
of
great
meaning
and
significance
to
us.
In
August
my
mother
died,
so
when
to
deal
with
everything,
I
had
to
figure
out
a
way
to
get
it
here.
I
removed
it
from
its
original
frame
which
completely
shattered
the
second
it
was
removed.
After
read,
researched
and
taken
time
to
find
THE
BEST
PLACE
that
would
take
care
of
it
and
frame
it
with
the
upmost
care
and
love,
here
it
is,
greater
than
ever.
We
are
extremely
happy
with
the
attention
to
detail,
and
care
put
into
this,
they
did
an
amazing
job
and
we
are
delighted
with
how
amazing
it
looks.
Thank
you
so
much
❤️
