This park is now my new favorite park in downtown Miami. I like to go on less busy days like a Monday afternoon walks with my baby. So nice, quiet, and clean! The garden area is very pretty. There is so much open space to enjoy without having to deal with too many people nearby. The new statues are pretty cool too! Too bad there are no beagles! Why?! How do I get a Beagle statue added? Not enough hounds… and way too many cats! No offense to cat people, but most of them look the same.

An accurate, beautiful, greeny spot in Downtown. The bay walk is one of the most beautiful in Miami. The lawns are clean and good for picknic. Still this park leaves a 'formal' impression, like if it was created for demonstration rather than for real people's leisure.

This is a great place to relax and enjoy your weekends, especially if you’re looking for a place to unwind and take in some history. The park was opened in 1976 and is located in the heart of Miami, Florida. It was previously known as Bicentennial Park and is now a 30-acre oasis of nature and wildlife, including migratory birds. The park also offers stunning views of Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline. Museum Park is perfect for adults who are interested in exploring new places around the world. With its central location, the park is easily accessible and offers plenty of activities for visitors. You can take a walk along the trails, have a picnic, go for a bike ride, or simply relax and enjoy the view. The park is also home to two world-class museums, the Pérez Art Museum Miami and the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science. Both museums offer amazing exhibits and are a must-visit for any tourist. In summary, Museum Park is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy your weekends. With its rich history and beautiful natural landscape, it’s a hidden gem in the heart of Miami. So, if you’re looking for a place to unwind and enjoy nature, Museum Park is the perfect place for you.

We spent a nice afternoon there, it was a nice park to walk around. The art museum is there so you have the chance to see great pieces of art. It was not crowded at all, and not very touristy so it made for a nice evening.

I didn't know the park had a name number one. I saw the dog walk from the museum balcony and I love dogs so I went down to see them... The dogs are very well done and some of the colorings on them are so funny. I have a Poodle a Schnauzer Bichon mix

Very nice park. It has lots of space with lots of grass and places to enjoy the outdoors. It is packed full of sculptures from various artists along paths sprinkled throughout the park. There are spaces to enjoy outdoor events, to take a stroll along the wall of the bay watching ships arrive and depart the port of Miami. You can enjoy many beautiful flowers and plants all along the paths. There is a large parking area and several bus stops along the exterior edges making it very easy to access. There are wide paved walkways with lots of room for strollers bikes, walkers, joggers, pets, and children to all share without crowding. Spaces with lots of sunshine and plenty of shady areas to enjoy as well. There are museums, dining, and plenty of interesting sites to visit all nestled together where the heart of downtown and its amazing architecture meets the bustle of activity in the bay.

Beautiful park with stunning 360 views. My dogs love this park for their walks. Happy that there is still green space in the downtown area. Park connects to the museums and has some nice sculptures around the area.

Great place for outdoors recreation! Being your bikes, strollers and sport shoes! You can forget you are in a big city for a moment. Is a place to feel the fresh breeze and enjoy the nature. We love to bring our family here, there is parking and also is pet friendly.

Maurice A. Ferre Park is a great park. We love it even more because it got huge fenced dog parks for small and large dogs with shaded areas. We brought our dog today and he had a lot of fun running around and playing with other dogs. I recommend bringing a water bowl and water since the park itself doesn't provide water for dogs.

The 1st time here, I pulled into the parking lot to look up some information on the internet and send emails. Then now being here a 2nd time, to send a few text messages and I really was going to walk around the park. Luckily it started to rain so I couldn’t go walk around and #stepindogshit

Very nice park. Lots of people working out, walking their pets, kids having activities outside of the museum and just a very family oriented place. Seemed very safe , clean and friendly.

2022 November 4.5* A beautifully designed palm tree lined park along side the bay lit with lighting. Nice walkable trails, right beside the Frost Science Museum. Here, you can find gecko's crawling around. At time of writing, opened during 7AM-10PM. Nice to visit.

Clean, relatively large park right by the water! Great for people watching and taking a stroll. Beautiful on a sunny day like we had. Took the Baywalk Path from here down to the big yacht, this was a good place to start.

Maurice A. Ferré Park is a 30 acre park in downtown Miami, Florida. The park is bordered on the south by the FEC Slip and American Airlines Arena, on the west by Biscayne Boulevard, and on the north by the Pérez Art Museum Miami and the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science. From 1900 until the 1960's the land the park sits on was the Port of Miami until it was moved to Dodge Island. Created from the dock slips of the old Seaboard Air Line Railroad, the land was cleaned up and turned into a park. When the park opened in 1976 it was originally named Bicentennial Park in honor of America's bicentennial. From 1986 until 1993 the park was the site of the Grand Prix of Miami. When construction began on the Perez Art Museum and Frost Museum of Science, ten million dollars was given to the park to update it. The park reopened on June 14, 2014 as Museum Park. In 2019 the Miami City Commission voted to rename the park in honor of long time mayor and community activist Maurice A. Ferré. Mr. Ferré was the city's first Hispanic mayor and he served from 1973 to 1985. He also served in the Florida House of Representatives from 1967 to 1968 and later as vice chairman of the Dade County Board of Commissioners. The park does not have free parking. The lot is metered and costs $5 an hour. Park amenities include a dog park, paved exercise path, benches, restroom, public art, and some of the best views of Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline from downtown. I did a run around the park during a recent visit to the Frost Museum. While I found the views of Miami from the park stunning, it was filled with homeless people which if you know Miami is not surprising but they kept to themselves and weren't harassing anyone. It is very easy to visit the park, especially if you are already at the Perez or Frost which both open onto the park. If you are in the area it is definitely worth a walk on the historic old Port of Miami.

I have to highlight and recommend the shark exhibit at the Aquarium! It's one of the best exhibitions on sharks I've ever seen. It especially loved the focus on indigenous connections to the environment and shark conservation. There was also numerous pieces of information on ways to both systemically and individually save sharks and our climate.

Good place to come and relax and enjoy the day. It's on the water, so the views are beautiful. A nice place against the backdrop of the downtown area.

Good place to grab good pictures of cruise ships turning at the turn basin. Be mindful of a few homeless people sleeping in random areas. If you go when no sunlight is out, it's difficult to see where they are sleeping/residing at. Other than that, nice park overall.

One of my top favorite parks now in Miami. Large lush greenery park with ocean front view. Word of advice: Just be aware of your surroundings. Parking lot has a strong police presence over 10 police cars when I parked. 🚔

I'll be honest with you all. It's a great place and a change from every day activities. The only thing is some of their kid machines were broken. We expected more from the aquarium. We just expected a bigger place. Definitely a place to say you've been to. They had new things coming soon once it all opens up We might go again. Staff is super friendly and yes you can pet star fish and sting rays!

Some dog (and cats) statues, each painted by a different person so it doesn’t really have a theme or any cohesive meaning. The park itself is just… grass.

Originally We went to Perez museum, people online saying that it is worth to visit. But nah- we worked out in 20min, and start wondering park which museum was in, since we pay $30 for parking we did not want to waste for nothing. But hey we had more fun working around and taking pictures with animal statues. My family had great time!

This park in the bay front area of downtown Miami offers a great spot for recreational activities. Lot of space for cycling and running and green landscapes offering space for relaxing. There are also enclosures for dogs and this makes this place a nice outing for people with there pet. The parking charges are quite high in this area which is one drawback.

Beautiful views of shipping channels, vast expanse of greenspace and old trees. Walking path. Mooring for sailing vessels. Dog friendly. Even swimming access. Beside the Perez Art Museum and The Frost museum. Close to Bayside and the Arena. Parking available. Lovely way to spend the afternoon.

Went with my grandbaby to see the dog and cat sculptures. The park was relatively empty, plenty of parking, clean, beautiful, landscaped so nicely, and the art pieces were wonderful. I love that it's a safe area for kids to walk, pups too. Then at the end, you have beautiful water views with another art installation along the sea wall. What more can you ask for on a Friday morning?

Our next family adventure take us to Maurice A.  Ferrer Park located in the heart of downtown Miami, walking around to spend the day we visited this place. With incredible views of downtown Miami and others over the bay, you can see anchored yachts and some cruise ships sailing in the distance which will make you remember or dream of your last trip or your next destination. Many people use it to rest, meditate or simply enjoy the breeze offered by mother earth, also while walking you can enjoy the exhibition of monumental sculptures titled Jimenez Deredia in Miami - A bridge of light. Was an incredible experience at Sunday afternoon.

I love this park, it has a small dog and large dog park section. Many birds & squirrels about. Parking is a challenge but it is a good park with spacious grass.

  • 5/5 Dawn Kimberly R. 11 months ago on Google
This was a beautiful park. We enjoyed the cruise ships taking off and the beautiful scenery. The sculptures were very colorful and full of life. Each sculpture told a different story. The grounds were pristine. The flowers were blooming and the weather was warm. The bathrooms were clean. There is a dog park there as well.

I remember when this park was called Bicentennial park. It is so beautiful now and I love the fact that you can bring your doggies to the dog park. I went to the science museum and planetarium, it is very nice, a place where you can take all your family. Very educational and beautiful!! 😊

Though wet today, this is definitely a nice park to visit with great views of downtown Miami and the cruise lines docked to take their visitors on a nice cruise.

  • 5/5 Lilian S. 1 year ago on Google
Amazing Art exhibition, I strongly recommend it for the whole family. It's kid friendly and even suitable for a date night. Just so sad to see some parents are not respectful of the park policies and allow the kids to climb on the sculptures, spite the police effort to protect it.

  • 5/5 Micah Marie J. 2 years ago on Google
I love this park. It’s sprawling with lots of trees and green grass(and a parking lot!). They ever added in a gated dog park, and have started to add benches inside , etc. It has one of the best views of the bay, where you can watch giant cruise ships turn around, and you can see the Ferris wheel too. Great for a workout, walk, jog, bike, picnic, or a nap on your yoga mat. :)

Truly this spot is cool and intriguing. I appreciate coming here. I will return in the future. It was a decent spot to bring kids. I would carry my more youthful sibling with me sometime later. Cherished this park.
