Its a very unusual type of cinema - in the positive sense of the word - as they show foreign language films, not Americans. I watched there Midwife and Letters From Bagda. Great for me!

In a busy street but the theater is nice and quaint. Went on Wednesday night and there wasn't long lines or a ton of people. Nice crowd. Definitely my favorite theater to go to in Miami.

The City of Miami terminated the contract with Miami Dade College. Why? Are they going to show more interesting films that MDC usually did? Haven't heard anything about new programming there. It is a pity and we will see if it was worth the change.

This is going to be a quick review because....it's a theater and I didn't really get to experience it all. The parking is great...$3 for 4 hours if validated by the theater...I think that's an amazing deal considering how much it cost to park in Hollywood.

Great place to see a good movie. Clean, spacious classic theater experience. Friendly staff. Only issue was the first showing of our movie was cancelled because of a broken projector so we had to wait 3 his fur the next showing in the second theater.

I'm from Europe, and this is hands down my favorite choice of theater for foreign movies. Small and trendy but not pretentious. Comfy seats, great staff, even the coffee is good, and the location, in the heart of Little Havana, is simply unbeatable! Perfect for a movie and a dinner, makes a great night out.

Very nice theater, small but comfortable. Many restaurants and bars around where you can have a Mojito or a Cuban sandwich, before or after the show. Paybyphone options available but better arrive early so you can find a good spot

This was such a great experience. It was so intimate, and you got to see into Celia Cruz's life from the very start. Everyone should experience this treasure in MIA.

Cool place surrounded by (mostly Cuban) culture. Saw a play here that was highly entertaining.

Experienced the most antisemitic show here. The staff said "I can't take things personally". I guessed that's what everyone said during WWII. Shame on you for sanding up to religious hate, never coming back.

I love this place as it is, under MDC - old, full of movie magic and home to Miami Film Festival. One of few remaining historic local theatres

Really nice cinema in the heart of Little Havana. It’s and old building but it’s completely renovated and it looks great. You don’t get specific seats when you book a movie but it’s usually not crowded at all so you have plenty to choose from. Tip for non English speakers, all the movies have Spanish subtitles.

I like the feel of theater but the fact that’s it’s on 8th street means I have to not recommend this unless you are already in the area. The main issue is parking is very difficult in the area and because of that I would suggest a different theater.

Beautiful historical theater to watch non-commercial movies. It was opened in 1926, so it's one of Miami's landmarks. It's located in "Calle 8", Little Havana, it has street parking around, and the staff is very nice. I would recommend you go with a little extra time to enjoy walking around the area full of cuban restaurants, eccentric bars, and cheerful people.

Sadly, the theater was empty and you, now, have to pay to park with an app and I never could get the app to work, after trying for 1/2 hr. Fortunately, I did not get a ticket.
