Such a beautiful park. It is located in the middle of some pretty nice houses yet you find something so simple and elegant as this park. Named after a strong woman leader and advocate for the environment. It is fitting that this park reflects that. Love the playground and has a small bike path. I would not recommend bringing skates or skateboard because of the texture of path. It also has a small fitness area so perfect for a meaning workout with the air of the ocean to bat the heat of workout.

Great For family fun, fishing, relaxing, working out, picnics & a place to appreciate a view and time to enjoy life and it's beauty. A play ground for kids, a pavilion for parties, a basketball court to play a friendly game. Always enjoyed coming here with family.

This park on the bay, with a view of the city skyline, is a small open green area popular with bikers, runners and picnickers for the free parking, amazing view, and laid-back atmosphere. This neighborhood park isn’t as bustling with activity as some of the bigger ones, but it still has amenities aplenty: two basketball courts (with an ocean view) and a small outdoor gym. Alice Wainwright Park is a 28-acre (11 ha) waterfront park and nature preserve located in northern Coconut Grove, Miami, Florida, U.S.A., on the southern border of Brickell. It is named for Alice C. Wainwright, who was the first female elected to serve on the City of Miami Commission

Update, they just ruined the park by putting up a chain link fence on the sea wall, right in front of the benches facing the sea. They ruined the view, no one wants to look at the sea through a chain link fence! Hopefully it is temporary and there is some logical reason for it, even if it seems otherwise. They also cut down all the papaya and lemon trees. --- The park has lots of tree cover from old giant trees and lots of shaded sitting and picnic areas. It is right on the ocean too, so there is a nice sea breeze. They have a basketball court, swings, two playgrounds one for tiny kids, grills, a cool exercise area with about ten machines, and a super nice view. It was kept very clean too. So nice to sit on a bench in the shade and enjoy the sea breeze!

Great park right on the ocean! Relaxing ocean breeze throughout the whole park with a great nature atmosphere to do small hikes with the kids. There is also a nice padded playground and swing set, full basketball court , restrooms, benches everywhere, outdoor workout equipment , and tons of pavilions . Great slot for a relaxing picnic or times with the family

This park is just by the side of the Vizcaya museum and Madonna’s ex house, it is always secured by police. There is a playground for kids, pets admitted and basketball ground. Perfect to come and relax or do sports.

This park is still kind of under construction. There’s a basketball court, a kids playground, some bbq and picnic shelters and a nice walking path along the water. The walking path near the water is made with gravel. It’s worth it to note that there are quite a few homeless people that live in this park near the big picnic shelter. They congregate and sleep there so those picnic spots are usually not useable. They mostly keep to themselves and do not wander into the kids playground though.

Alice wainwright park should be on everyone’s list. It’s perfect for the outdoor friendly months of December and January. Playground, basketball court, and enough tables and benches for every family. But judging from what I saw, it seems like picnics are the best way to enjoy this place. Parking is free but limited

Love what they did to the waterfront. However Keeping some shaded canopy areas by the water would have been a nice touch. We lost all the gazebos I the remodel. Bathrooms could use a refresh too.

Great park for kids, lots of spaces for picnic with tables and a little roof (so you don't get wet when rain surprises you); and a nice playground with rubber ground. Amazing view of the ocean too, and gladly (thinking of kids) it's fenced on the edge of the water (so, no kids falling to the sea!) Also has a place to play basketball. Only downside is that is hasn't got too many parking spaces and the sidewalks outside the park are in very bad condition, hard to walk there with a stroller.

Park is under renovation, but the play area and basketball courts are open again. Love the views of the ocean from this park. Parking on the street is limited so get here early. Love coming here to look at the water.❀

The renovation is almost finished, a long seawall perfect for lovers or just to relax breathing the salt water breezes. Nice (almost one mile) walking path, some exercise equipment and few party gazebos plus a huge kid's playground. It's worthy to give it's try.

This is a nice waterfront park with a basketball court, kids playground, and outdoor fitness machines. The main waterfront area is under construction right now but the aforementioned activities are still open to the public, along with a nice shaded road for walks or bike rides right outside the park.

It has great location. Although the park is currently under renovation and facelift but it’s still open for visitors to enjoy. The sea facing makes this an amazing place walking and running with soothing breeze gently hitting you giving an amazing experience. It has also some equipments installed for exercises for elderly and also swings and slides for kids. The area has a lot of greenery and close to famous Vizcaya gardens.

You might as well say they tore down the beautiful green area by the water to fill it with concrete sidewalk. Awesome. Absolute waste of construction. And sad.

Finally no longer a construction zone the park has a very nice path along the seawall with benches for looking out and enjoying the bay. Unfortunately the removed most of the picnic tables so if you plan to have one with your family, come early or bring a blanket. Don't forget to say hi to the family of raccoons to the left of the entrance.

Homeless lived there inside the park, if you go to the bathroom they're there shaving cleaning themselves. The park is nice by the bay but ...

Gorgeous park and location. Not sure how it will look like soon as currently major renovations are happening and the park is for that reason currently closed. But with all other updates in the are that have been happening I'm sure this will be amazing too - the water view only is already 5 stars

Love the view of this park but not how they remodeled it. They removed all the trees that provided shade. They also removed a lot of the little huts you could use to have small gatherings. Be prepared to be in the sun or take an umbrella. The parking is also a mission so get there early.

We love this local Park situated near the entrance to Key Biscayne and North Coconut Grove. The park stretches down to Biscayne Bay, with beautiful views. It is a great place for outside entertainment, get-togethers and exercise. The water-fountain at the park entrance has the coldest drinking water around, much appreciated by many cyclists and runners.

Parking is very limited, has a nice playground for kids, multiple gazebos and a very nice walking path with an amazing view of the water that borders the park.

Nice park with lots of trees for shade. Few BBQ available if you'd like a party. There is a childrens playground and shore line walk. Trails nearby and beautiful neighbourhood to take a walk.
