Gulfstream Park Racing-Hallandale Beach-FL, is South Florida's home for Thoroughbred horse racing and an entertainment destination that combines sports and casino gaming, live shows. Going to the Gulfstream Park Racing was a great and exciting experience! 🔥 First of all the entire complex is beautiful and it has not only the racing park, but it’s full with shops, restaurants, bar and even a casino; so there is no time to get bored ;0) The racing park is an exciting experience, you can spend the day there while watching and analyzing the horses warming up, getting ready for the race and finally racing!… it’s way more than just bet and watch the races for sure. We had such a great time, one of our friend owns a horse so we went a little behind the scenes and had the opportunity to learn a little more about this great sports. If you want to have fun, eat, drinks, play and have a great time, this is the place!

I enjoyed this place. There's a lot to do. I didn't get chance to see it all. I definitely want to return. Casino has multiple floors. There are no dealers on first floor. There's horse racing, bowling, clubs, karaoke and more. Free parking and valet service. Great outdoor space. Great place for date nights.

The track is beautiful what it way to spend a day the people at the wager counter are nice if you don’t know how to wager they’ll help you, not saying that you’ll win but you will have a fun day bring the family kids are welcome Some of the nice areas are free to get in and free as always good

Review from a non local! Unique village shopping area, horse track and casino. Visited on a Sunday afternoon. It was not busy at all and we were able to catch a horse race. Open air concept mall and sporting complex. I was actually quite surprised that Gulfstream Park was not packed full of people. It was free to walk into the shopping village and it led straight to the horse show plaza. Walking into the casino was very easy and my family of 6 walked right in without problems. Watching the horse races was entertaining and everyone there seemed to have a great time. The casino area where the bets were taken seemed like a different vibe than anywhere else. I was not used to the Smokey air smell and trash on the ground everywhere. The grassy courtyard was fun to bring the kids just outside of the casino. Looked like a great place for a mini concert to happen. Lots of water fountains and palm trees around. An arcade and Häagen-Dazs Ice cream shop were also the attraction for us. The restaurants all looked busy. I was surprised to see not a lot of people were actually shopping. Perhaps because it was a Sunday? Anyway. It made for a great experience for my family and it was unique. I would definitely return and try out one of the restaurants and maybe on a weekday to see if any of the shops open.

We needed to find somewhere to watch the Preakness during our drive from FLL to the Keys. It’s a little strange to see a racetrack in a mall parking lot, but what a great track! Near the ocean with a great view of the buildings, beautiful weather, and lots of races to watch. The paddock is one of the best we’ve seen. This was a fun day.

Always a fun time at Gulfstream! We took our Dad here this weekend to watch the Sunshine Meet. Not too crowded, beautiful weather, exciting races and fun at the Casino with some nice wins at both. The Grilled Turkey and Avocado Panini and an icy cold beer from concession, Yum! Great day!

AAAAA+ Nicest track and facility you'll find. Beautifully appointed with lots of space and a relaxed atmosphere. The staff was super friendly, helpful and professional. Something for everyone here. I will be visiting and bringing my family every time I'm in the area. Highly recommended.

What a lovely racetrack. We had so much fun here today, and the music they played on their awesome sound system was a great perk to boot. So much to do in one place from watching and betting on horses to gambling in the casino, dining in one of the many great restaurants, bowling , and shopping. It is a great place for everyone.

We came here to see the Christmas lights last year and it was one of the better shows we saw in Miami. There's a large tree and the display is choreographed to music during the 15 minute show. There's a casino, racetrack, and a large outdoor shopping mall with several restaurants. Parking is free and easy in the large parking garage.

Fun place to spend time even alone, with friends or family. You ll find what to do, what to eat and drink. Races are the whole weekend since Thursday to Sunday. Huge parking lot. I wouldn’t recommend to go with kids. It doesn’t matter what weather we have there you can be indoor or outdoor. Enjoy 30 min or just stay there from 1pm to 7pm.. great place.

This was a new trip discovery. We were staying at Hallandale Beach and had no clue about the Gulfstream Park Racing and Casino. They even have bowling games and a Crate & Barrel - thought they had gone out of business! But no they haven’t. Everything was fun, we made some bets at the races, the afternoon was superb, sunny, no wind, no rain, you could smell the grass and arena. We had dinner after races, we only had to wait for 5’ minutes to get out table. We had cheese burger, salmon, cheese curds and truffle fries, wine, coffee, coke. You could spend all day - and money- in these park, it’s beautiful and worth the visit and stay !!!!! Parking is also great and you have internal mini buses to take you where ever you want to. Super friendly and fun! Merry Christmas!!!!

There are conflicting opinions, the place is very pretty, although during the day almost everything is logically closed (don't expect to find shops or food open even at 1 pm), this is a purely nocturnal place. It has ample spaces in the car park, it has an outdoor parking lot and another covered one with 4 levels. The statues are very beautiful to take photos. You are available to buy snacks in several machines and you have several ATMs. Public toilets are scarce. Sadly I must say that I encountered racism in the casino on the second floor around noon when I was visiting it (I was questioned upon entering and frowned upon by the employee, in the same way upon entering I found racism on the part of other gamblers in the seats of machines when I approached with bad words and repeated prayers that I leave the site) I think that Latin Americans are not welcome. For everything else, I must return at night to evaluate the nocturnal life. With love for you always this review. My visit was on a weekday.

Casino has 2 floors of slot machines. It is next to the horse race so nice to watch it gamble at the horse races also. The machines are cleaned out regularly and there is wait staff walking around for drinks. Did not win this time but definitely will be back. Restaurants and shopping attended to building for those not wanting to gamble.

There is something old school cool about going to the horse track. The energy as a race starts, all the pomp and circumstance with the horses, and that feeling of winning a $1 bet on a funny named horse. You can spend a whole day and night here, and never be bored. Bring your family and friends and make some fun memories. I did with my son.

Love this track, so beautiful! Always make time for coming here in South Florida! Nice casino, shopping and dining available in the connected mall....right next to the track. Entrance free, but we went into #TenPalms club level and the minimum is $40 a person for food and drinks. But awesome views! Personal betting available here too! Love it! It also overlooked the lovely mounting area with a marble balcony.

We’ve gone to Gulfstream several times and really enjoyed it. We reserved a table at Ten Palms the last time which was really nice with good food and drinks plus excellent views of the entire track and easy access to the walkway above the paddock.

I and my family attended the Halloween event last night. Everyone was excited to see me enter the costume contest. Just to get to the main party arena was quite exciting. I must've been stopped a thousand times for photos with kids. 😁 When it was announced to register for the contest, I couldn't hear where to go. I asked 7 differ too late ent security personnel (all of which did not speak English) where to register. All of them never answered me. They simply turned their heads away and ignored me. The 8th security guard did point me in the right direction of the DJ. The DJ made another announcement that in order to be called back onto the stage, the crowd would need to cheer for each contestant. Loudest cheers get to called back. When I found the person who was "registering" contestants, she told me I was too late to register, as they had already "pre-selected" the 25 winners from "the crowd" and had "no more numbered paddles." When I asked, "You mean I can't register for the contest before the contest starts because you already have winners?" She said "Yes." and walked away. My kids were devastated that I was cheated out of that opportunity. Sounds exactly like what a casino is designed to do. So, thanks for ruining my family's fun and excitement. Here's a photo of my costume from last night. Not that really matters. BTW. I live less than 2 miles from Gulfstream and am always visiting. NOT ANYMORE!

It's a great place to go to see Christmas lights, eat at a restaurant, go shopping, and enjoy some gaming/ slots at the casino. We had a fun time! There were lots of families, couples, seniors and gaming enthusiasts.

My family and I really enjoy this place. Very family oriented and lots of space for kids to run around. You can have ice cream, pizza, coffee and even get to listen to live music on weekends. Always clean, restaurants aren’t pricy and service is good. During Christmas you get to see the Christmas tree but surprisingly no Chanukah menorah, even though the neighborhood is very jewish. Never played in the casino, but it is not large.

I couldn't stop visiting this place, which is one of my husband's favorite sports, a faithful fan for many years. It has been recently remodeled and its facilities are incredible, there are spaces to enjoy outdoors such as a very particular bar and a casino where we can try our luck. Don't stop visiting it.

I visited Gulfstream Park for the first time to attend Cirque du Soliel Echo. The blue and white tents are behind the huge Pegasus statue so if you're coming by lyft like me or drive, follow the entrance in front of Pegasus. The staff had floor signs to direct you to public parking. The wait time to enter was less then 5 minutes. Immediately through the security bag checkpoint you can immediately go use the pot a potties with sinks or go get drinks outside, take pics etc. Immediately into the tent you can choose to buy merchandise, alcoholic beverages, foods and other drinks. I ate before i came but was hungry when I arrived so I made a plan to eat and drink during the (one) 25 minute intermission an hour into the show. I bought a liquid death regular water which was $6.50 and a hot dog for 9 with taxes added total of $16.13 which isn't that bad but the hot dog was a normal regular size. The cheapest merchandise was a 'special character' in the show, won't say to spoil for those going, and the keychain of this character was so adorable I would have bought if it was 5 dollars not 10 which is what it was marketing for. The show was better than I thought it was going to be and I already had high expectations. I am now an official fan of Cirque du soliel creative and performers. If you were thinking of attending this show, go! DO SO BEFORE they leave Hallendale. I'll repeat, this is NOT a permanent show of Gulfstream Park. They will leave after their last show in April to go to Canada. I'll keep the show secret because it 😉 is something you'll want to experience in person. But trust me it's worth the money. Pictures provided for those who want a taste of the event. Advice: Use the restroom before the show, after the show and only during the one intermission. You don't want to miss anything happening during this amazing show. If you can, bring hand santizers. My seat was awesome sauce, I suggest you buy my seat or a seat in my section and most importantlymy row or the row in front of mines. I got to see a lot of up close interactions with the actors/acrobats plus you'll get good photos without being too close to the stage. Seat: Section 200 / Row I / Seats 18 Ticket: Regular ECHO Miami - Regular - Saturday, February 24, 2024 4:00 PM 1 $ 134.58 $ 134.58 Facility Fee 1 $ 4.00 $ 4.00 Service Fee 1 $ 15.00 $ 15.00 Mobile Ticket 1 FREE FREE Total $ 163.00***** 7% Sales Tax plan $ 9.42 P.s. Enjoyed Taste at the Track event. Hubby enjoyed the seating in the Flamingo Room, and I enjoyed tastes of bourbon happening that day. Food was good and paired well with sampled bourbon drinks. I'm going again for Tequila & Tacos!

We went to dandy shandy 2023 outdoor event at this venue. It was fantastic. We had a great time. The music was great. The venue is awesome. The parking was really good. The valet was on point. We did not have to wait more than 5 minutes and we did not have to walk far from the parking lot to the front door.

The place is big and full of Stores. Art gallery, Bowling, furniture, plenty of space to park and to walk, restaurants and furniture stores but only few people walking around the stores. Casino and race track FULL as always. Something interesting for most of the holidays is always some sort of celebration. Halloween was one of these days. Music, decorations and music. They care about the people. It's a great place for New Year with lot of music and people waiting for the count down, Lazer show. It's a good place if you want to receive the New Year with happiness a drink and celebration in a good and safe atmosphere 🎉 . Always full of security from the Gulfstream . I don't know why doesn't attract more visitors for the Shops because it's a beautiful place🤷

We had a box reserved, but there was no shade (boxes have no roof cover). So we ended up sitting in outdoor seating at Ten Palms Restaurant. We very much enjoyed it. Our waiter JP was excellent. Nice to have Penny coming to take our bets right there at the table. Not sure we could have gotten into Ten Palms without reservations on a weekend but it worked out for us on a Friday.

This place can be pretty fun during special events (like NYE). There's SO many parking spots and a few shops located around the casino. The casino itself is okay, but not enough variety in the offerings; too many slot machines and most of them are boring. I prefer the card or die based games.

Gulfstream is a fun place to visit for both the horse racing and the casino. Along with those there is a good selection of dining experiences and various retail to explore. The retail ranges from home stores such as Crate and Barrel to West Elm to The Container Store along with art galleries and other shops. A good day can be had by all just by visiting Gulfstream.

We have come here regularly for almost 20 years for the Florida Derby (except in the last 2 years because of the pandemic) and I have loved seeing this place transforming/growing from a “simple” horseracing track to a very beautiful complex that also includes stores and restaurants/bars. However, this year I was very disappointed. Almost all the restaurants are gone: we used to “take cover” in them from the very hot weather (the bartender at the Cantina Laredo always remembered us even if he was seeing us only once a year!) The entry to the derby is no longer free, and the cheapest tickets are still rather expensive (same for the valet, which we never used anyways: $50?!?) We also had to go through a metal detector and a very accurate bag search, which I think was a good idea considering the times we currently live in. Our seats were in the Silk section. It was the first time we reserved those seats: they are very comfortable, and the little desks in front of them are actually very spacious. When we arrived there was nobody who would help to find the seats, but there was actually only one person taking care of that section: when she came back from her lunch, she apologized, was very polite, cleaned the desks and gave us a bracelet to wear (as a proof of reservation/payment). Our seats in particular were close to the exit to the track, so we didn’t have to pass through a lot of people to go out to watch the races. However, probably because they were so close to the exit, every time we came back to the room, we would find them occupied, although there is a pretty big sign at the entrance of the section indicating that you need to have a reservation to sit there. There was actually an employee guarding the entrance, so I don’t understand why they wouldn’t check if the people going in I had the bracelet… Also, there was a group of friends that decided to sit for the entire event by one wagering machine, as if it belonged to them only: I found it odd that nobody would ask them to move away from there and “free up” one machine so that everybody else could use it (I guess you could still use it, but who would bet with people standing close to you by your side?) It was also the first time at the Derby that the place wasn’t very crowded, however, I can’t say that’s a bad thing: it was much easier to enjoy the races from the track. Anyways, we enjoyed our seats so much that we are planning to book them again next year (unless the prices increase too much). Hopefully by that time, the rest of the complex will be also filled again with restaurants and bars!

Sorry to say but can't even get anyone to give you water while at a slot machine. Week days are very bad. very few bonuses the machine gives out to enjoy yourself. 😉 All these pictures are from MT.AIRY CASINO IN PENNSYLVANIA. I LOVE MY PLAY DAY THERE.

We were in Florida for the week and needed a place to hangout until our flight left in the evening. We went to Gulfstream to see what it was about. We ended up staying all day and ate the buffet. Amazing food, easy betting, great atmosphere! Even my daughter had a blast watching the horses and eating dessert.

I’ve been here many times and love watching and betting on the horses but today seemed off. Trying to find a spot with a high top table so many rude people almost pushing others around to get their chairs and table and move them out of the sun, could hardly walk around them. Lines get a drink and finally ending up $50 per person for a bit of AC upstairs. But then the Buffett was not that great and we never saw our server but we’re charged his tip anyway on our bill even tho he did nothing. The people who are walking around taking your bets are the nicest people there. Not a great experience this time.
