It
would
take
me
quite
literally
all
day
to
talk
about
my
love
for
this
ecosystem.
But,
since
this
is
a
review
of
the
park
itself
I'll
stick
to
the
basics!
Entry
into
the
park
was
easy,
my
boyfriend
paid
but
I
believe
it
was
$30
for
7
days.
From
there
we
drove
for
about
30
minutes,
passing
several
pull
off
areas
for
hiking
and
kayaking.
We
stayed
at
the
Flamingo
Campground,
the
staff
there
was
very
friendly
and
informative.
They
sell
both
ice
and
firewood
at
the
entrance
to
the
grounds.
Dogs
are
allowed
but
of
course
must
stay
on
leash.
(Please,
please
follow
this
rule.)
I
am
actually
allergic
to
mosquitos
so
I
smothered
myself
in
repellent.
My
boyfriend
who
is
not
sensitive,
only
had
to
apply
minimally.
Just
be
mindful,
this
is
a
wetland
and
mosquitos
populations
are
high.
Unfortunately,
we
did
not
see
any
alligators
or
panthers
but
maybe
you'll
get
lucky!
