When this place just opened few years ago I tried it out and the Latin dishes were not good at all so today I decided to give the place another chance and here is my experience: We entered the place and no greetings from the host just where do you want to seat and we choose an outdoor table, I was provided with a nasty paper menu which I believe was not a good thing, especially in an eating establishment and with the virus that is going on right now. I order coffee and noticed that the cup and the milk container were filthy ☹️ After the server served the coffee went away and took his sweet time to come back and ask if we were ready, at that point I choose to pay just for the coffee and ask the server for the check and again he went away and did not come back with the check, so I had to ask another server for the price of the coffee so I can pay cash and leave the place. This was the second and last chance I gave to this restaurant, I would not recommend it to any one who likes to eat in restaurants that takes hygiene as a top priority.

Great locals spot downtown right near the Broward center. It's a great space. Delicious south and central American food - all the classics. Breakfast/lunch/dinner options are all wonderful. There is both inside dining and a large outdoor area that is great to just chill or for a large group. Small little bar area insside as well. Friendly and professional service too. Great place to go before a show or try it for brunch

We always try and have dinner here in this quaint and sweet restaurant before we go to the theater. The food is great, as well as the service. Recently, they obtained a liquor license so it is no longer just beer and wine.

Great little place! Looking for something to eat before the show at the Browder center. They were super packed, but the owner went out of his way to accommodate us. Service was great and the food was amazing! The menu is a mix of Latin inspired dishes from all over.

This is a great little restaurant if you're ever in the area or waiting on a show at the performing arts. The food was amazing and the Jalapeno Infused Margarita is absolutely spot on.

Great atmosphere and very nice food. The brunch menu is very complete with very good quality and portions size. The ceviche is fantastic same as the wide variety of drinks. Sometimes they have live music at the terrace. Very nice is you want to have some drinks with friends!

Now, I'm not one to leave a poor review. However, the service we received last night was simply unacceptable. Food was decent but let's talk basic professionalism. First, our server Juliet initially forgot, yes she forgot and even admitted to 2 members of our party of 5 that she forgot to put the order into the kitchen. We understand mistakes happen so we did not make a scene, we waited patiently for them to get their entrees. However, she then double charged for the Loma Saltado. We did not notice until the day after, so yes, perhaps the oversight was on us...but seriously..first our order was forgotten, then we were double charged?? Second, my buddy ordered another Stella after his first. Juliet said "no", which we thought was a joke, but then she truly did not bring the second beer out. Third, when another lady in our party asked for a togo box, she also said "no"...imagine our surprise when she actually brought the box for us given our experience with the beers... And finally, we were not looking for any compensation at all for the initially botched order of entrees, or an apology for her attitude about the beer and take out box...but then we were hit with a 20% gratuity. 20% for that?! I mean seriously... I'm not someone who's salty but I believe anyone in our situation has the right to be upset. We were overcharged, provided sub-par service with an attitude, but at least the calamari was decent. I would recommend this place, but maybe as a take out spot, like a local diner - but a dining experience of over $200...this is not it, at least not from our experience.

When I first came here it looked cute and amazing I loved it. everything was great, our waitress was super kind. When we got our food, one of my guests ordered the house skirt steak surprisingly he got a small piece of a low quality steak. He said he didn’t like his Skirt steak and we were fine until I check the bill and stated it was 34$??? I thought that was extremely high for the quality and the size of the steak, especially how the taste was poor. .Be careful of what you order here especially steaks, they are low quality.

My paella was good but not great. I did like the calamari in it because it was so tender but there was a little too much of it. My sangria was good but not great. The service was friendly but we felt a little forgotten. It's a very small place where you are an elbow away from the next table but the atmosphere is friendly there and I enjoy it. They have a deal on a pre-theater menu but if I chose that my husband would also need to choose it. Reservations definitely recommended on the weekend.

Solid place, always consistent. Shared tapas, had a watermelon-jalapeño margarita that was really unique. Pulpo and chicharrones were the standouts. Busy as always, but attentive service and timing isn't an issue. Cool historical spot, worth stopping in if in the area.

One of our favorite places in Ft. Lauderdale. Their ceviches are fresh and so well seasoned. Loved their fusion food ideas. Coming back again!

So, so good! We were in town for a show across the street at the Broward Center for Performing Arts. We are so glad we stopped in. The pulpo and mussels were amazing. My wife loved the Lomo Saltado, too.

If you’re looking for a classic brunch with a different twist, this is likely a good choice. Latin + Classic brunch in Ft. Lauderdale Omlette w/ veggies and black bean puree dip was good. The stand out were the brekkie potatoes. Wow! So so good! Spicy salsa here is good too.. great w/ eggs or the potatoes Empanadas were ok.. wish they were crunch vs. soft. Suspect they might be heated in the microwave Steak and eggs were good Stand out was also the service. Incredibly sweet staff who ensure you’re well looked after

Very nice restaurant around the corner from the Broward center for performing arts. Latin fusion done well and excellent service. Tried the las olas limeade vodka which was very good and potent! Tried as appetizers the Pork Belly, Grilled Octopus and calamari - All were good but calamari was meh. For entree tried the seafood rice which was excellent as was the mahi mahi. Friend likes their turkey meatloaf and gets it all the time! On the kids menu the carne asada skirt steak with fries and grilled chicken with fries were both great. The kids cheese burger was fine nothing unusual.

Our group of four visited the Chimney House on 7/9/23 for dinner. We ordered a few drinks from our friendly waitress who made some menu suggestions and then our group ordered. I ordered the Turkey meatloaf which was covered in a delicious sauce and served with rice and beans. Other meals included the mahi mahi, the grilled skirt steak La chimenea and the crispy pork belly chicharron. Everyone cleared their plates and saved room for dessert, which was also out of this world. We had wanted to try this restaurant and were not disappointed. Fabulous. Highly recommended.

I come here almost every time I go to a show at the Broward center and it NEVER disappoints! Fast service, delicious food, and amazing sangria!! If you’re seeing a show at the Broward Center, check out the pre fixe menu!

We stopped by here after a showing of Beetlejuice: the musical at the Broward theater. The manager of the place welcomed us in. We requested an inside table but had to sit outside because of an abundance of reservations. We were happy to get a table at the busy restaurant. The food was amazing but our server was lackluster. He bypassed us several times and rarely asked if we needed anything, and never refilled our drinks. We wanted after-dinner coffee but the server never came back to our table, so my daughter had to go find him so we could pay and leave. If we go back I will try to get a reservation and see if the service is better. I liked the restaurant and the setting. The food was great, but get a reservation if you want good service.

Very friendly service, but the food was nothing exceptional. Lomo saltado was boring and the seafood plate was bland. I can’t recommend.

This might be one of my new favorite spots. Luckily I live close to it. The empanadas were some of the best I've ever had... soft and fresh. They has an in house hot sauce which was great too. Unfortunately I ate them too fast for a photo. Both dishes were great. The Lechon Asado was pork...delicious. Also got the Arroz Marinero, which was Spanish rice with seafood. Cool staff, very mom n pop feel to the place. Well done.

We went to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. Being tourists in Fort Lauderdale we didn’t notice the restaurant closed at 9:30pm. We showed up at 8:30pm. Although we were quickly seated, we did feel a bit rushed to order. We barely had the time to read the full menu but we can understand that the kitchen was closing soon. Besides that the food was excellent. The meat was tender, the ceviche was tasty. Not too spicy, just the right amount. We quickly got served and the food didn’t taste like reheat. The portions were just right.

THE unique gourmet boutique, next to Broward Center. Come for dinner, see an opera, marvel at the attentive staff, superb menu choices from North and South America, walk along the Riverfront. Charming, satisfying and sooo romantic!

We were a party of 13 so I don't think that you can hold them to the same standard as a party of 2. Everyone was very warm and accommodating. The food was cooked to perfection and the manager saw to it that we were taken care of. We would definitely come back.

This is a great place to go for a meal. It is within walking distance of the performing arts center. The food was delicious. I had a salad with grilled chicken. My wife had a burger and fries. My kids had the ham and cheese with fruit. We all loved our food and are excited to go back again. The outdoor area was very comfortable with the fans, even on a hot day. It was an early lunch for us and there was not a crowd at all.
