As
usual
I
walked
into
the
Altos
Plaza
Publix.
I
walked
up
to
the
sandwich
station
there
was
one
sandwich
maker,
one
person
ordering
a
sandwich,
and
a
guy
standing
off
in
front
of
the
freezer
where
the
charcuterie
boards
are
he
appeared
to
be
leaving
an
open
space
for
the
grocery
carts
to
go
through.
I
asked
the
guy
near
the
freezer
"
are
you
in
line"
he
replied
yes.
so,
I
waited
in
line
maybe
5
minutes.
Then
a
second
publix
employee
comes
up
to
prepare
sandwiches
next
to
the
employee
who
was
already
there.
a
guy
and
a
lady
walks
up
to
the
second
sandwich
line
and
starts
to
order.
I
told
the
lady
that
i
was
next.
she
stood
there
looking
at
me
and
said
something
in
Spanish
to
the
guy
and
lady
and
then
began
to
make
their
sandwich.
I
then
asked
to
speak
to
a
manager,
the
employee
told
me
that
there
is
no
manager
here,
so
i
yelled
i
need
to
speak
to
a
manager
now
because
i
was
here
first.
she
told
me
go
to
customer
service
i
told
her
no,
i
need
a
manager.
she
went
and
got
Raphael
(customer
service
manager)
he
asked
what
happen
i
yelled
and
said
shes
making
their
sandwich
and
i
was
skipped.
Raphael
then
spoke
in
spanish
to
the
guy
who
was
originally
in
front
of
me
and
then
to
the
guy
and
lady.
i
don't
know
what
was
said
in
spanish
but
he
turns
and
said
that
they
were
first
and
walks
off.
I
felt
like
he
took
their
word
because
they
all
were
spanish,
honestly
what
i
think
happened
is
that
the
guy
and
lady
might
have
been
there
first
but
maybe
they
walked
off
to
grab
something
and
then
came
back,
in
which
no
one
had
enough
curtesy
to
say
that.
i
felt
like
i
was
discriminated
against
and
was
not
provided
with
good
customer
service
from
the
sandwich
maker
or
the
customer
service
manager.
i
visit
this
publix
at
least
10-12
times
a

on
my
lunch
break.
i
will
not
be
returning
