the gym workers are idiots.you can not ask them anything because they are always in a bad mood and with bad attitude. It is not the attitude that is needed in a gym. they should fire them

First week they will welcome you just to get your son enrolled and get the money after that you will who they actually are from being rude to not even make your child feel welcome every morning. Martha the face of the daycare should make every child welcome every morning by saying hi regardless is she like the parents or not is not about oh I am here I am the administrator is about having education and knowing how to deal with kids and parents because at the end of the day I am not paying 20 dollars a week I pay 100 a week and she think my son is being care for free not she shouldn’t be there at all they should have somebody professional at the front desk of the daycare. They are dealing with kids not adult.. I do not recommend anybody to bring their child to this place go somewhere else. I gave the complaint to the main office They didn’t listen to me so I hope this one gets listen by someone.👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👇👇👇👇

I have decided to leave the YMCA for various reasons. I will touch upon some of the most predominant ones. The alledged manager supposedly runs this location and another one as well. She's not opened to input by the members and to attempt to do so can warrant a negative response. She walks through the place most times without acknowledging those who keep it open: the members. While she's not there just about anyone of the employees run it. The place is unkept and the equipment is all over the place. The manager has removed dumbbells as well as their racks not leaving ample quantities of them for many members to work out at the same time with the chosen weight. There are no employees on the floor at all to teach new members the operations of the equipment. No showers available and just about everything they fail to provide is blamed on the pandemic. Turn over of employees is high. Some of them have verbalized that the manager lies repeatedly to the members. Equipment needs calibration and maintenance. The real reason the YMCA in Allapatah has less than 300 members has been mismanagement pre pandemic. They will not be able to operate if it continues with this low membership. With competition from IFBB Iramis Portero half a block away and two Planet Fitness within 10 minutes or less driving distance and lower prices the members have gone there. The facility has no personal trainers and limited equipment. They open at 8AM and close at 9PM Monday to Thursday. Friday at 8PM and close on the weekends. My impression is that management is more concerned with a pay check than members benefits. I would ask anyone interested in working out at a gym to check the others in the area and the benefits you'll get for your money. The Y has lockers but members cannot use them. Why? I never have received any answers to that as well as other issues. Lastly one day while working out a sub contracted person from maintenance called me to the front desk because she had been left there alone and didn't know what to do. The employees had gone to Pizza Hut 4 blocks away. Lastly almost all members were deducted fees from their credit cards while the gym was closed. It's my understanding they had a difficult time getting refunded. Silver Sneakers members had the premium deducted as well.

Let me start by saying if you have a one year old who is walking take them some where else ! I was told my son needed to be one and walking which is understandable but what they did not explain to me is that he would not be fed, he will not be given drinks or assisted with eating or drinking after they told me newly one year old could not use a bottle or a sippy cup i begged the director for her to let my son use a sippy cup as he came home everyday very hungry and thirsty! The staff will try to label your one year old as autistic and they evaluate them falsely my son is a perfect normal one year old and they made it like it had to be advanced like the 2 1/2 - 3 year olds that they placed him with in the school! A class that is totally to much older than him! My son was bitten by a 3 year old which caused him to bleed and i never knew a one year old can bully a 3 year old purposely as he wants to play with them! I was told me son was written up for attacking the entire class again the teacher who calls me for everything else never called and told me anything they wanted my son out because they had no patience to deal with him i will be going to higher authorities about this matter ! Ashari is a lazy person she doesnt truly care for children or have patience, Martha is rude and doesnt need to be at the front desk she is the worst of them all and the director is never there she goes on what the teachers say which is full of crap PLEASE AVOID BRINGING YOUR KIDS HERE!!!! They also will not give me a refund for the weeks i have paid in advance to for my son!!!!!! They dont deserve not even one star but its forced by google these people are ridiculous!!!!!!!

Worst experience. The manager a yound lady does not even care to listening, the only she can say is no no no. Like you are receiving a membership for free. I paid a montlhy payment, she should be more kind with the customers at the end, you are working in customer service position.

Please if possible steer clear from this facility. I signed my son up for their winter camp over two weeks ago, and last minute they called me to cancel because not enough parents signed up. Fast forward over two weeks later and multiple calls and still haven’t received a refund. Every time I call they say they need to speak to the director or that they’ll get back to me. There is no way it takes over two weeks to give someone their money back for a service you never rendered. This is ridiculous, and I got tired of the run around so maybe this review will motivate them to refund my money.

Horrible attitude from the lady at the front desk and another lady who came from the back. Lady at the front desk already gave me a bad look as I walked in, and then had a worse attitude because I didn't speak Spanish. Asked her to call someone to help me, and at first she said she was the only one but then reluctantly called for the other person. When the other lady came to the front to talk to me, the lady at the front desk kept calling for her to talk to her first, then that lady's demeanor changed with me and she talked to me like she didn't understand what I wanted and told me to come back to talk to another person.

Creo que debe estar para toda la población que lo necesite, no solo para un grupo de ella

Staff are friendly and great service. My child attended preschool from when he was 1 year old to VPK. It is affordable, and my child learned structure, responsibility, and good ol’ ABC’s and 123’s, as well as writing, drawing, singing and dancing. The summer camp is great. He is looking forward to the new awesome adventures the program director has in store this year for the kids. My child also plays soccer and basketball. Again it is affordable, the coaches are friendly and great. We are lucky to have this organization in our community!

This is a great place for kids to learn new sports and exercise at the same time. Staff is super helpful and attentive. Sadly some of the parent you encounter there would make you want to drive elsewhere. My little brother was in karate and 4 parents that where sitting next to me did not stop talking the whole class even after the instructor and other patenta have asked them to take their conversation outside they got offended by the reaquest and refuse to be quiet and continued to talk loudly until the class was done. Just wish the YMCA would indicate the parent to respect the instructor and the class the kids are in some of them are actually trying to learn

Every time I need to work out, they are closed. Ridiculous hours. Not worth the money. Even before Covid-19 they had very limited hours. Stay away if you do not want to waste your money. Members are also inconsiderate, they can occupy a machine for an hour....

I've been coming to this gym for years and at first it was good but since 2012 they don't maintain the few machines there are. The membership price ($41) is ridiculous. I think that in jail they have better machines. If you are going to train here you have to be creative and do with what there is. I give it zero stars.

No racism, what happens is that the dark-skinned people are complexists, in that place they treat everyone super well, because you already know what they are like, everything is racism and what they don't know is that people don't love them because of the way they act and behave. . They do not have. No education

Good machines and not as crowded as your typical gyms which is great because you don't have to take turns on a machine.
