Most of reviews are bad because of waiting time, well guys it is Urgent care, nothing can be done I mean common! I been there few times with my wife and recently went there with my daughter, thanks God there was no people there, and we got lucky with nurse and doctor Yoo (Asian guy) very professional, easy to understand and happy with results! They add screens with pricing which they did not had before, I am adding it for people to see! God bless you all, I wish we never would have to use urgent care or emergency room!!!

This place is terrible. I was told I had to wait a hour because the front receptionist Cassidy stepped away… the girl that was subbing for her was so rude. Soon as I walked in, she states “ I’m just letting you know it’s a hour wait, do you have insurance” I’m like well hello to you too… this place need a change staff asap. For this to be a medical place of business it’s terrible… it makes the name MD urgent care seems like they hired who ever and don’t train them on customer service. 0 stars….

Absolutely terrible these people have not a sense of urgency in the world. I am 7 months pregnant. Came for a simple drug test for employment. Waited over an hour and a half, watching people who came after me go in. After I explain I can’t hold my urine anymore, I was told to use the bathroom and wait back in the lobby with water to wait again. There no appropriate protocol for urine tests that literally take 2 mins. Never again

I have used this MD Urgent Care facility in the past and I have been a happy patient. However today, brought in by a severe head congestion, it was most disappointing. The waiting room was empty, except a mother w kids, and a gentleman that walked in after me. I was ushered in shortly after giving my health insurance information and paying the copayment. Assisted by a medical assistant, Vincent, that was talking much too fast and to some degree condescending for my aching head, I was left in a consultation room at 7:05 PM to see the doctor. At 7:40 PM, I stepped out of the consultation room and asked how much longer do I have to wait, given the closing hours of 8 PM. I was told there was 1 more person ahead of me, and probably will wait another 20 minutes. The doctor stepped in at 7:57 and after a rapid evaluation stepped out at 8:01. I was extremely discomforted by the wait, but most insulted by the total lack of respect and consideration in failing to communicate that for unknown reasons I had to wait for almost more than 1 hour to see a doctor. And as a parting criticism, why is it necessary to enter the symptoms on the tablet, then repeat them to the medical assistant and then repeat again to the doctor?

I had arrived as a walk in at 524pm and it wasn't until almost an hour that I got up and asked the person at the front desk how much longer. Thankfully, I had done so because she had forgotten to print out my order and I would have waited longer. She didn't apologize until I asked her too. When I left she genuinely apologized. My learning point is to never trust the person at the front desk.

I always have bad experiences at this company. How are you going to charge me $100 like I do not have insurance and then charge my insurance on top of that. I had to call you back for me to get a refund. Do not act like you were going to give me a refund if I did not call. It has been over a month. I wonder how many people get double charged from this company without knowing it.

I walked in at 7:25 PM they don’t close until 8Pm there was only two people in the waiting room the lady Yvonne at the front telling me they’re at maximum capacity for someplace that don’t close to 8 o’clock they should not turning away people in pain. She told me to wait while she went to the back and let me standing there for another 15 minutes just to tell me they’re at capacity again. That’s Clinic needs to be shut down they don’t care about people’s needs what I have open and closing times when you don’t see patients

DO NOT COME HERE! ! ! I came here because I had flu like symptoms and I was told to wait between 45 minutes to an 1 hour and I ended waiting more than 2 hours in the lobby. If I can give them 0 stars I would.

Wonderful and friendly staff. My appointment was quick and efficient. I 100% recommend this clinic very happy with my visit.

The doctors are good but the front end they are so rude no good morning, no how can I help you, no smile, cold direct just I’d and insurance card and what’s your reason for coming! Don’t feel no compassion from the front end! It’s a rush to get the next paying patient! And you see I said paying because it definitely does not seem like the care about the fact that you’re sick!! I believe the front staff is a reflection of the people who run this facility!! It’s should not feel so uncomfortable to get care

Dr. Lopez is rude and keeps ignoring the nurses trying to let him know that he keeps overlooking my husband and taking other patients when all he needs is a drug test done. Something that should take no more than 15 minutes stretched out to over an hour of waiting. Even the nurses themselves don’t understand why this is taking so long. Everyone inside is waiting to be seen for COVID and they have no regard for the people who are not there for COVID. It is an unsafe environment to have people waiting longer than they need to when you run the risk of getting more people sick.

I got there right when they opened and was seen within 15-20 minutes. Staff is professional and facility is very clean. Excellent quick care.

I went today and it was very clean. The staff was great, friendly, and welcoming. The nurse was sympathetic to my situation and reassuring. As for the doctor, very thorough and professional.

I went three times to receive an x-ray; 1 - No Technician - Cutler Bay Office 2 - Not possible after 4pm - Pinecrest Office 3 - Technician unable to perform required procedure - Cutler Bay Office 4 - Then directed to drive miles out of my way to the Homestead office with no knowledge of how long before I would be seen. I was directed to each appointment by MD-NOW personnel whom did not seem to know or provide these limitations. I wasted Three (3) Days, and my Valuable Time.

Love Doctor Yo! He is so nice and has never made me feel bad or stupid when I tey to explain my symptoms. He always seems to care. The staff has always been kind and patient as well.

Needed some quick lab work for school that couldn’t wait for an appointment with my primary. MD Now in cutler bay, I was in and out really quick. The staff was very friendly and answered all my questions as I hadn’t been there before. I’d go again if I ever needed to.

Ok so I just came from here and man it was bad. Around this time of the year I usually get really bad congestion and while I’m not 100% sure it’s allergies, that was what I was diagnosed with on my last doctor’s visit and the prescription provided alleviated it. The diagnosis was post nasal drip and my last doctor was super helpful, but his office is kinda far out, so I figured I would drop in here. So, Reception ladies were nice but it seemed the doctors were on lunch break and it would’ve been nice of them to let me know before. After waiting almost an hour, they do my vitals and I tell the doctor about my condition (congestion in my throat and sore throat) and he goes ok let me look. This guy just looks in my mouth and says yeah it’s probably covid. I had absolutely no covid like symptoms or been in contact with anyone that has had it and while I’m not completely ruling it out, he didn’t even bother to swab my throat or nothing. After telling him about the postnasal drip diagnosis I had previously, he goes alright yeah I’ll give you some prescription on it and walks out. Like, are you not even going check and/or swab to confirm it??? And of course, to top it all off, they claim they can’t send the prescription to a pharmacy because of computer issues. So when I asked are you sure they’re just going to accept the printed one, she then says yeah they do it like this so there won’t be any confusion. So which is it, your systems don’t work or are you guys to lazy to send it out?? Like one review previously said about this place, they only care about getting your co-pay. TL;DR: They don’t really care about you. If you feel really bad, I recommend UHealth Jackson Urgent Care at Cutler Bay. It’s a 20 minute drive but at least they actually properly check you out

MD NOW front desk customer service could be improved by retraining the receptionists especially the black Young lady who was sitting behind the left window on 5/16/2022 at 1pm. It is very apparent that dealing with people isn't her thing. The wait was very long to see the doctor but it was just under the hour. The doctor we saw didn't really give me the confident that he knew what he was doing eventhough he was old. We went in for a possible strep throat and I had to ask him to check my daughter's ears and he did, but after telling me that we had only mentioned sore throat when filling up the paperwork so he wouldn't have checked the ears, hello??? And then he told me that if the test was positive, he would give her antibiotics for 10 days and if it was negative, antibiotics for 5 days. I had to ask again because I thought I misunderstood his heavy Indian accent. Why would I give my daughter antibiotics without an infection? but he did clarify that some parents want to do it anyway. Luckily, the test was negative and we were out of there and if we ever have to go to an urgent care again, I will try to go somewhere else. As a matter of fact, the place that was reccomended to us since we are not form the area was the urgent care across the street but they were out of tests to check for strep so we ended up coming here. On a positive note, the young lady that did the test on my daughter was very sweet and the place is clean and modern looking. They also have a fridge with cold bottles of water for the patients which I appreciated.

The care is amazing! Starting from when you walk in at the front desk very friendly and easy to check in. When you see the doctor very friendly, attentive, and was able to stich my wound. I would defenantly will go again for a minor injury instead of calling the rescue,they could not do that for me which os really sad that the only they did was tell me i need stiches and put a bandage until i get to the emergency and they could not take me because they came on a firetruck.

Front desk was great. Doctor was terrible and extremely dry dealing with my toddler. Felt rushed the moment she entered the room and it seemed like she didn’t want my son near her. You shouldn’t be dealing with patients if you have zero people skills. After the check up she really asked my son “what do you want kid?” Maybe a damn high five, Jesus.

I have been to this location twice and both times I’ve had excellent care from the staff. There was a little wait, but as soon as I got in, they took care of me right away. Thank you you the MD ODELAISIS (hope that’s correct) and MA Niebla for getting me in and out as fast as possible. They understood how sick I was feeling, and made sure to take care of me fast, but properly. I listened to their recommendations and it worked out well. Thank you!

This place is super clean staff is super friendly. There was 3 patients ahead of me and I was in and out literally probably done in 40 min. They called me right in then saw the doctor 10 min after. Happy with this urgent care.

I am impressed with this urgent care, my daughter is sick and already went there , the staff very friendly, super fast and no waiting time to see the doctor, the nurse very sweet and the doctor too , she was very nice with my daughter and explained to me all details. Also waiting inside the room for the paperwork I received a text from the pharmacy to let me know that my daughter medication was already order , i was impressed. The clinic is very clean and aso they have a mini fridge on the waiting area with bottles of water in case you need it . So happy to found this urgent care online 🙏🏻. Thank you 🙏🏻.

They are the most caring staff ever. I don’t know the names of the medical staff individually that took care of me but they acted as if they were family. They are professional and very caring. I wish they had a primary care doctor there. I would definitely switch over to them.

Normally I do not write reviews for MD-Now simply because it usually doesn’t need to have a review from my visit, but todays particular visit made me pretty upset. The doctor at the 18851 s Dixi Hwy, let’s just call her NY, M.A., was not sincere and was very judgmental. She made unethical statements about my visit and asked weird uncomfortable questions about my family and my country of origin. If my PD was available on weekends, I honestly would not go to MD-Now. Bottom line, treat your patients with respect and leave your judgmental BS at home. No one needs to feel uncomfortable going to a doctors office.

I went into the cutler bay branch for a X-ray. I asked on arrival if they had one and stated the only reason I was there was to confirm a break. I was told they had one and I proceeded to fill out paperwork. 1.5 hours later I am brought back vitals are taken and I state again I need an x-ray, the nurse says “the machine has been giving them problems” . I told him again this is the only reason I am here. 20 mins later the doctor comes in give me a 3 min exam, leaves comes back 10 mins later with a prescription for Tylenol at which point I say I don’t need meds I need a X-ray. Next the lady from the front comes in and lets me know it was her fault and that she should have told me during the registration process the machine broke. I state I didn’t need an exam as I’ve had one nor do I need meds which have already as well, now I need a refund. She tells me I’ve already seen the doctor so I cannot have a refund but I can drive 30 mins away to a different location to get the X-ray. Not having much choice I drive to the new location, wait an additional 1.5 hours only to be told I would get a call from the doctor that evening with the results. Now 2 days later I have not received a call nor have any results been sent to me via email, their portal or text. I normally would not write a review if it is negative but I want to give my opinion that MDNow is terrible and I would not recommend it for anything other than a sick note.

This is an Excellent care facility for walk-ins. Friendly courteous service the minute you step in. This was my first visit and after registering, I had a short wait before being ushered in. My vitals were taken and saw the doctor almost immediately. I'm very happy with my visit, and highly recommend.

Please do not come here. We came here seeking immediate help with a cut late at night. The receptionist and front desk staff was very helpful and nice. However the nurse was rude and rushing all the staff including the doctor who was treating us. My wife required stitches and when she asked what can she take for pain, a male nurse said anything OTC or she can also smoke weed to help. Seriously!?! She was discharged with no documentation, paperwork, follow up visit nor instructions for caring the wound. Terrible service and will not be recommending anyone to come here.

Staff very curtious and helpful

The staff seemed well-intentioned but i literally waited 2 hours to be seen. I reminded front desk and still waited until a nurse noticed I was still waiting. I understand that during these time it’s more hectic than usual but I’ve never had this issue with the MD now in south Miami. Just keep this in mind if you have somewhere to be afterwards.

I needed to get refills on my meds (due to losing my job and my insurance soon to expire) and not being able to get an appointment with my primary doctor before my insurance expired. They were able to get me in, ask a few questions, run a test on my blood, and called in my prescriptions. I was in the office 20 minutes, tops. I highly recommend MD NOW URGENT CARE to any and all. Very cordial and professional. they took me without an appointment, and I was there in-and-out in no time, But wen it comes to sen prescription to the pharmacy they are the worst . I will never visit that place again.

Fast and courteous service. I only wish I didnt have to wait one hour to have my PPD read. They read the PPD at exactly 48 hours. I got there at 2pm and had to wait until 316 pm to read a negative result. A negative result is probably 99.9 % of cases. I hope they will act to better accomodate the publuc. In these COVID times We dont want to linger in a place where COVID testing is being done to people walking in off the street.

The team was very courteous and professional which earned five stars. However, the wait was very long due to the inefficient IT system. It constantly stalled, making check-in a ridiculously long process. Corporate management personnel, who only deserves 1 star, needs to be replaced by better decision makers. The staff needs a better system, invest in it!
