Amazing cuban sandwiches. First time trying one and it was really great. The place is small, five or six tables, no more. But the service was great, all the people were nice. Only four stars because we ordered croquetas and they forgot to bring them to us. So we could not try them.. The cafecito was great.

Amazing Cuban sandwiches! Our family visited on our last day in Miami, and the location was a bit of a hike from where we were staying. On the way, my wife and I were both wondering if the walk was worth it. Would the sandwiches be that much better than the other, very good Cuban sandwiches we had eaten during the week? The simple answer - Yes. Totally worth it. Absolutely delicious!

Came here because of the reviews and this Cuban sandwich place didn't disappoint. We came in for lunch and there was a little bit of a wait, not terrible. There about 6-7 small tables (sit max 3 people) plus some seating at the bar. Most people do take out anyway. The menu is short so you should be able to pick your food fairly easy. Super friendly staff and it is kept very clean (including the bathrooms). Parking is available for free right in front but there are not many spots available. The two sandwiches we ordered, Cuban and Miami we super good. The mango batidos (smoothies) were great too. Very much recommended.

First let’s recognize the hospitality shown at this location by all staff memes. It is outstanding to say the least, very welcoming. They definitely have a gift for making some good food. The sandwiches where delightful and sauces they give you to add take it to another level. Would definitely recommend if you are in the Little habana area. I know I’ll definitely be back on our next trip back to Miami. Also you want to get there with time as space is limited.

Cute sandwich shop in little Havana! We had the lechón and the Cuban sandwich and they were both spectacular! The bread was crispy and soft! Come here early to avoid waiting in line. It gets packed quick. Loved the decor of the place, even the bathrooms were beautiful. They also sell their own sauces.

I heard this place had the best Cuban sandwiches and boy did it deliver. They make everything in-house from the bread to the mustard to the pickles and it certainly shows. I was ambivalent about having my sandwich pressed but this spot made me understand why. Just the right amount of crunch without overcooking the ham. If you enjoy Cuban sandwiches, this spot is a definite must.

Amazing food! Sandwiches are super delicious bread has that perfect crunch and the meat is full of flavor. Ask for the garlic sauce to dip your sandwich in 😈✌🏿 Service was great super kind, very patient and accommodating. Treated with utmost care and respect.

We found this restaurant after researching for the best Cuban sandwich before our trip to Miami and it was just as great and yummy like everyone raves! The plantain fries were absolutely deeeelicious too and all three dipping sauces were bomb! Definitely a must try. It's a small spot but packs a punch with the food! We went early and before we left it was packed. So recommend going early otherwise you find yourself waiting.

These are the new kids on the block so to speak. There's a different flavor. They are doing their own thing. Cucumber in the Cuban sandwich. Hey don't knock it till you try it. Sandwich was light and the bread was on point. Banana fries was new to me.

Even if you aren’t Cuban you can feel the island flavors in the environment of the place. Very classy sandwich place, part of the Michelin guide in Miami. The most popular sandwich is the Cuban one, but my favorite is Lechón Sandwich.

So i decided to stop here with a friend after hearing some hype about their sandwiches. Being from South Florida i have stopped at a number of places to get my favorite Cuban Sandwich. This place although good not sure if the wait was worth it. The food was good but sometimes i don’t want a Cuban on a cracker. The bread was extremely thin and seemed as if they were pumping out so many sandwiches they were just pressing away. I usually like some actual bread. Either way it was a fun experience. The sauces for the yuca fries was nice. Is The coffee was delicious and what i would expect and is it worth visiting yes but there are definitely better places to spend your hard earned money! Also their take on the Pan con bistec with the pickled onions….not my favorite.

We had the Sanguich Cubano and the Pan Con Lechón. My expectations were high, as I saw this place on the Food Channel as well as YouTube, and after driving 6,000 miles from Bellingham WA (next to Vancouver, Canada), my mind had convinced me that I was in for an experience. Well, I was not disappointed. The flavors went well together, and not one ingredient overpowered the others. The Pan Con Lechón was actually more tasty than the Cubano, but the Cubano was great too! Highly recommend you stop here. We'll be getting 2 Sanguich to go when we leave in2 days

Service: This spot has quick service that can take your order within seconds of walking in and will mostly leave you unbothered if you choose to dine in. Several employees were available if I needed anything while I was waiting for my food and honestly the service was perfect for me. Food: For a sandwich place to have Michelin recognition you know it has to be fire. My first bite was insane, never had bread so perfectly toasted with every single bite of a sandwich. Best Cuban I’ve ever had (Yes better than anything in Tampa and at Versailles) Atmosphere: The inside is small which lends to a more active atmosphere with lively conversations surrounding you. Be prepared to wait since seating is incredibly limited, if you’re in a large group there’s most likely no way you’ll all seat together, I would say a group of 3 is pushing the limits. Price: For Miami prices this place is about what you’d expect to pay practically at any restaurant for a single meal. $20 a person for sandwich and a drink. Keep in mind these sandwiches do not come with a side. Overall: 9.3/10

Quick Summary The bread on the sandwiches are divine and the Mamey milkshake was definitely a must-try. Came on a weekend at 3pm and still had to wait about 15 minutes for a seat. You can also order to-go as well. Pretty comfortable seating and very clean and modern. Definitely a must-try while in Miami or Little Havana Food- 5 stars Cubano- one of the best Cubanos I've had. The bread was divine with the best crunch ever. The ingredients were fresh, but the bread stole the show Croqueta- similar as the Cubano. The bread steals the show, but very solid ingredients inside Drinks- 5 stars Mamey milkshake- this was phenomenal. Extra creamy without being too sweet, and still plenty of papaya flavor Service- 5 stars Pretty fast casual. Got in and out quickly. There's always a line but turnover is pretty fast Bottom Line Excellent food in a clean and modern environment. Sanguich is definitely worth a stop and well-deserving of Bib Gourmand

The sandwiches are very delicious and filling. They are loaded with flavorful meats and cheeses and perfectly pressed. My favorite was the pan con lechon. The dining area is small, so if it’s during peak time be ready to wait a little or just order to go.

Awesome Cuban food. It was addictive sandwich so crispy and has tangy taste. I don’t like black coffee but they had delicious Cuban coffee. Must go and must try. Artistic place and hard to find parking

I just discovered the delights of Little Havana. I know! What rock was I living under? I had the best mojito, the best guava cheese ice cream, and thanks to my friend Holly I have now been introduced to the best Cuban sandwich. She had been raving about Sanguich de Miami for a long time but I never made the connection that they were in Little Havana. After a trip to North Miami we made a 30 minute detour on the way home so I could try their sandwich delights. Sanguich De Miami opened in Little Havana in 2017. Owner Daniel Figueredo was driven by the desire to create the best Cuban sandwich in Miami. They first opened as a pop up in a shipping container but they proved so popular that they were able to move to a permanent 750-square-foot counter service restaurant the next year. What I really love about Sanguich aside from the food is they have their own free parking lot, an almost unheard of commodity in pay for street parking Miami. We arrived early evening and they were slammed. You can order from the walk up window but we decided to wait for our order inside at the counter where we were packed in. They also have some tightly arranged tables along the wall. The restaurant was inspired by Cuba's early 1900s Spanish architecture with brass fixtures and beautiful Cuban tile floors. The menu features the original six sandwiches including the Cubano, pan con lechon, pan con croqueta, and el pan con bistec. They also offer milkshakes with flavors like trigo, mamey, banana, and mango and Cuban coffee. At my friends suggestion I ordered the Media Noche made with pork, spiced ham, swiss cheese, and pickles on sweet bread. The bread was amazing and I loved the flavors of the sandwich. It was also entertaining to watch all of the sandwiches being made as we waited for our order. This was such a cool place to visit and it has now been added to my best of Little Havana list. Thanks for taking me Holly.

I drove over an hour to check this place out. It was well worth it. It's located in a small shopping plaza with limited parking, so plan on doing a little walking. You can order at the front counter or eat inside. The line was out the door when we got there.. The Cuban sandwich was hot and delicious. All original ingredients and flavors, simple but authentic. The Pan con lechón was also fantastic. I tried one of their trigo shakes, and it tasted just like back home. Well worth the drive and the wait. Im coming back soon to try some other goodies on the menu. If you're in Miami, check this place out.

Beautiful sandwich place, with great music. I had the Cubano and an iced Cuban coffee with caramel. The Cubano had these delicious fresh pickles, I wonder if they make them in house, they were so good on the sandwich. Both coffee and sandwich were delicious! There is a window to order and pick up. The entrance/ordering is a little small so you just slide in and get in a 'line'. They are pretty quick so it wasn't too bad of a wait for take out. Apparently they have a back for seating as well as the cafe type seating when you first come in.

Being from out of town, I did a little research and decided on Sanguich. Wise selection. My selections were El Cubano, chicharrones, and a La Rubia to quench my thirst and wash all this goodness down to my belly. The chicharrones were hot and seasoned just right. The sandwich was toasted just right and the meats and cheese were quite tasty. I don't like too much of a hops taste in my beer and this selection, new to me, was just right. The ladies were very service oriented and the entire staff were very friendly. Located in a small but busy strip center, parking can be challenging at times. The shop was clean and inviting. A place to not miss if you want an excellent sandwich!

Awesome panino! The queue outside is justified (and to be sincere doesn't take so long to have a seat inside, even in our case in which we were 7). Cuban Fast food inside literally incredibly tasty the Cuban sandwich.

I haven’t had this much meat since my frat days!! Of course I had to order two sandwiches from this place. There was a line up out the door so once I got to the counter I ordered two off the hop. The classic Cubana sandwich was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had! I’m not a sandwich guy whatsoever so means a lot coming from me. The steak sandwich was good as well but the cubana stole the show. Also got the croquettes. They were deep fried ham or pork. Came with the little dipping sauce that married all the flavours together. 4.3/5

I came here based on the buzz I've heard about Sanguich and their reputation for serving authentic Cuban sandwiches and other delicious foods. I was fortunate to find parking right in front of the place, and upon entering, I was impressed by the clean and inviting interior. I decided to go with their regular Cuban sandwich, and let me tell you, I've had my fair share of Cuban sandwiches in the past, but this one truly stood out. It was an absolute delight. The sandwich was generously filled with savory meats, the cheese was perfectly melted, and the overall taste and texture were rich, buttery, and crunchy. It was a flavor explosion in every bite. However, the only drawback that prevented this from being a 5-star review was the slow service. Despite the lack of a crowd both inside and at the ordering window outside, it took a rather inexplicable 20 minutes to prepare a single sandwich. That said, I would highly recommend giving Sanguich a try, but my advice would be to either order ahead or allocate some extra time to ensure you have enough time to savor their delicious offerings. The quality of their Cuban sandwich is well worth it!

If you’re fortunate enough to squeeze into this place, you’ll get a quick & wonderful Cuban sandwich. I had the classic cubano. My wife had the Miami sandwich. Mango smoothie was a perfect pairing. The ham and pork were high quality meats. I like the pressed bread — gives it a distinctive crunch compared with other excellent cubanos close by. Come early or be prepared to wait for a spot. Line does move relatively quickly.

Sanguich, is absolutely the best cuban sandwiches place in little Havana! The shop is within a shopping center it isn't very big and has a diner vibe to it. Very clean and neat, staff was so so kind and professional. We ordered the original cuban and wouldn't change a thing. It's wheelchair accessible and family friendly.

Coffee was okay but pretty expensive. Food was okay, but also pretty expensive. Restaurant and even restroom was clean and had an inviting ambience. 4 stars would be given based on the modern-look restaurant and the friendly service as well as presentation of food and coffee.

Found this place on a blog about the best places to go in little Havana. Was a queue here when we arrived, about a 40 minute wait. I don't really know what the hype is about, the place inside is alright but not super cute or anything and the Cuban sandwich was pretty greasy and a little bland. That said, the meat in the sandwich was amazing.. I reckon a plate of the meat on its own would probably have been better.

Very cool little sandwich shop. I had the Cubano and let just say it restored my faith in cuban sandwiches. The proportions were perfect and every bite was delicious. The bread was soft and had a good crust. Next time in town I'll definitely be coming back here to try more sandwiches. I'd highly recommend.

Sanguich is a small cozy restaurant known for their Cuban style sandwiches. Seating is very limited so you may need to wait outside for seating. If you don't wish to sit down, you can order your meal right at the window! We ordered the Croquette as an appetizer and ordered the Sanguine Cubano which comes with pork, swiss cheese, pickles and mustard on pressed Cuban bread and Croquetta Preparada which comes with Croquetta, pork, spiced ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, and mustard on pressed Cuban bread. My recommendation is the Croquetta Preparada and a Cuban drink or smoothie to go along with your meal.

Title: SANGUICH: The Best Cuban Sandwich in Town! Review: SANGUICH serves the most incredible Cuban sandwich in town. The combination of roasted pork, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, and mustard pressed between perfectly toasted bread is simply irresistible. The place can get busy, long long line but the wait is worth it. The staff is friendly and efficient. Don't miss out on this culinary delight! Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5 stars)

I stopped in specifically to try their sandwich. I saw a video someone posted about them. They have a nice style to them. Inside seating is limited. I gave service 4 stars not for my servers, but the length of time it took to get a sandwich. The sandwich was on point, well made and a professional deli wrapped presentation, if that makes sense. I had the croquetta sandwich there and a Cuban to go. Both great tasting. Toasted outside and soft inside.

Best crunchy juicy sandwich ever. Also get the juice and put vodka in it later. It tastes amazing. But please don't drink in the cafe.

Great sandwiches, big portions. Only thing is we had to wait 30+min-1 hr. Would recommend someone to try. Thought the pan con lechon was better than the Cuban.

We came for a quick cuban breakfast in Calle 8 and found a great local shop. Sanguich offered a nice Cubano, some croquetas, and timba juice (more like a smoothie). The ambient was nice and the staff friendly. There might be some waiting time in line but is worth it and the line moves fast (or you can always order to go).

The food and experience were both top notch! The cubano was possibly the best I’ve ever had, and the cafecito was amazing. This spot came highly recommended, and I’m extremely happy that we got to try it!

I was some errands nearby and decided to finally try this place. A beautiful small spot in calle ocho. Easy to miss if you’re not paying attention. Instantly loved the menu. Not overwhelming with thousands of options. If you go there, you obviously want a sandwich, and more specifically, cuban style. I ordered a Medianoche. Not the greatest one a tried to date but great presentation. The bread was too toasted to my taste, but I should specified this beforehand. But the star of the show was a guava milkshake the cashier recommended. OMG Delicious! I’m sure I will give this another try. Also, great spot when showing off Miami to a friend. Yes, just ‘a friend’ because the place is very small and intimate. Not ideal for bigger groups.

Great sandwiches and great service. I live in Miami and recommend to both locals as well as tourists that want to experiment with something Cuban. It’s very modern but still, this will get you a bit of the Cuban experience that you get in Miami. I had the croquetta preparada and hubby had the pan con bistec. We also had a sweet potato fries as an appetizer. He had an espresso (ask sin azucar if you don’t want a colada) and I had a cortadito. Both without sugar. See photos.

This was our favorite Cuban Sandwich we tried in Florida. The store was busy, the three of us sat at the bar and had a great view of the kitchen where the sandwiches are made. The atmosphere was nice. We tried a traditional Cuban sandwich and a croquette sandwich as well. They were both perfect.

  • 5/5 Dave !. 2 years ago on Google
Solid good cuban sandwich. Prices are a bit on the high side but are worth it. The experience is good overall. Place is neat and fancy for the concept. Please note that as this joint is popular for tourists and locals alike the waiting times and environment may feel crowded. However, the attention and service is great and the food is worth it.
