I only came here because when I went to the Miami River Mexican cuisine store they were closed due to some kitchen issues. The guy came out and sent me over here instead. My daughter and I ordered the chips and guacamole. The guacamole was actually more tasty than at the other store. The one other time I’d gone there the guacamole was bland. The order is pretty big. It’s a lot of guac. We took home leftovers of the guac. I also ordered the Elote. It was very good, except one side was warm and the other side was cold. But the combination of flavors- the lime juice, cheese, cream, and Anjito was delish! For our meals I got the 3 fish tacos on corn tortillas and my daughter got the 3 shrimp tacos on flour tortillas. We both finished all of our tacos. Mine were delicious! I’m not sure what the sauce on the side is. It tasted like a mix of ketchup and mayo?!? But they also put two salsas on the table. The green one is SPICY! The red one is mild. Altogether our meals were about $45. Not bad. Parking is an issue. I didn’t see a parking lot. There are spots right in front of the store. But only a couple. Since we were going there at 3 in the afternoon it was easy for us to get a spot. We were the only people eating in the restaurant. There were a few people who came in to pick up orders. I would come back again if I’m in the area, but this place is pretty far away from where I live.

Sooooo we were just driving around the neighborhood looking for Little Havana and was searching to get some Cuban food. But last minute, we just wanted to eat some Mexican food. I was hesitant to even find one because I am VERY picky. I seem to walk out of most Mexican restaurants not that happy. There are so many Mexican restaurants out there that don't make their stuff authentic and don't put much love into the food. I live in Las Vegas, NV and there is not one good Mexican restaurant I recommend. Anyway, we decided to come to La Valentina. We were surprised the restaurant was so tiny. We sat down and ordered mixed fajitas and chicken enchiladas with a mix of green and red sauce. Let me tell ya... The food was outstanding! The salsa was so flavourful and everything just tasted so authentic. The Spanish rice was cooked to perfection and sooo good. The guacamole was the best I ever had. It was perfectly ripped and flavored! When we got there probably about 15 minutes in, it got soooo busy for our waitress. People were standing in line out the door just to sit and eat. Because I felt bad for people waiting, I felt rushed lol. I wish I lived in Miami just to try everything on the menu. If you don't need a nice atmosphere dining experience but want very good authentic Mexican food, I totally recommend coming here. I just hope I don't have to wait for a long time to sit and eat because the restaurant is very tiny. We'll be flying back in July and definitely be back because we can't get this type of food in Las Vegas 😁.

Customer service was the worst, very rude. If you going to sell tamales you can at least sell atoles too. Every Mexicans knows atole is accompanied with tamales.

Awful. The worst tacos I have ever eaten in my life and I have LIVED IN MEXICO. I don't understand how they even served me unedible tacos. I ordered 3 tacos and all of it was FAT. I ate less than half my order of what was actual meat. I'm disgusted. Below is a picture of all of the fat that was in 3 tacos. Not to mention I only received one tortilla per taco. A typical street taco (which is what these were) should have been 2 tortillas. It was completely falling apart. What a waste of money. I have never in my life eaten a taco FROM MEXICO with ANY fat. Maybe a small piece at the most. Looks like they just gave me all skin and could care less about it. If they hadn't closed I would've gone back to get my money back.

The micheladas are the best. I always buy the special mix they got to mix at home. A little expensive but worth it, recently bought some Mexican chips that are FIRE 🔥

This is the best Mexican restaurant I have been to in 20 years of living in Florida having moved from Los Angeles California. It was incredibly good and authentic food and a fun funky local atmosphere with gorgeous staff and even live music on a Saturday night. Expect a small humble place and a lot of leftovers.

If I could give this establishment a 100/100 I would. I love the food here. My favorite is the quesabirria. I am obsessed with the quesabirria here. The best quesabirria ever. The staff is friendly and the owner is super nice too! My favorite new spot.

Visiting town to the SF Giants play the Marlins later, and as our air bnb is just down the street, this was a close spot to grab a bite. I ordered the rolled taco plate (comes with rice, beans, and guacamole) and my husband ordered off of the Taco Tuesday menu (pollo, carnitas, chicharrón, nopal, calabacita, costra, and pastor tacos for $1.50). My tacos were decently sized with shredded steak inside. Some pieces looked like they’d been mixed back with larger portions after being put through a salamander or grilled, as some of the internal pieces were crispy burnt. Overall, they were pretty good - I’m not mad. I liked the rice best overall, though the beans vastly improved with some of their red salsa and a squeeze of lime. The sliced onions were a tasty touch, but I do think the beans could have been cooked a bit longer and there were some that were just noticeably underdone. Husband really enjoyed his pastor tacos (“no question better than the carnitas,”) and considered eating a couple more while he waited for me to finish. Taco toppings are self-serve out of a small freezer (pickled red onion, white onions, radishes, etc). There are a few soda and beer options, though I don’t know if I’d recommend basing a visit on the online menu, as it seemed out of date. I would definitely recommend this place, especially if you’re looking to kill some time before a game. Food is solid, the restaurant is tiny but really, really cute, and there’s great service!

One of the best tacos I’ve ever had. I just picked up a to go order that I placed after looking at the reviews. And it’s the best food I’ve eaten in miami in quite some time. The staff is friendly and engaging. The place is super cute and stylish. Ingredients are fresh and tasty. Pleasantly surprised and I will definitely return.

Oh, boy! This amazing restaurant in Miami is a burger lover's paradise! The juicy patties and the multitude of toppings will leave you drooling. Their creative menu offers unique burger combinations that will blow your mind. The staff is super friendly and always ready to make recommendations if you can't decide. Don't forget to indulge in their loaded fries and wash them with a milkshake. Your taste buds will thank you!

This was some of the best taco meat of my life. We were in a rush to get to the baseball game, otherwise we would have spent more time there. But we got our food really fast and it was so yummy. We still talk about it a few days later. The service was friendly and fast.

I came from Chicago and have had the pleasure to meet the owners while on my visit. Wonderful and very humble pair. The location is very cozy and has great soft Latino music playing. I love Mexican food and this has been very tasty and delicious. My Chicago food area is amazing and I felt like this restaurant was in Chicago because it is so good. Miami doesn’t have a lot of good food but this place has it all. Flavor was great presentation was beautiful. Thank you will visit again when I am in town. Gracias a los dueños de parte de tina de Chicago. Hasta la próxima para la troca de comida todavía lo quiero cuando estás listo. Bendiciones

Closest to traditional/real Mexican that I’ve tried in Miami. They had things like pozole, real Mexican tacos and Mexican drinks. I’m a tough critic and Mexican is my favourite food. There’s nothing like Mexican food from Mexico but this was pretty close and a lot better than most places. This location compared to the 1st is much prettier. The interior is quite a surprise. The decoration is beautiful, the plates and presentation are super cute. Food is a 7/10 for me. Definitely recommend :)
