Delicious! Better than nearby/other location like mason . Meat tasted fresh, sauces are awesome, sides are good . Portions are good. People were awesome here! I will be back! Keep up the quality experience!

Being from Texas myself love and highly recommend this BBQ. I think it's the " Best" around..... Was there again 2day **Still my favorite BBQ**....Carla and Ric are fantastic @ what they're doing here!!! They also have ice-cream, cone or cup, toppings too. Love ❤️ it!

Genuine Texas barbecue served with the best of Springboro hospitality! Order a Western sized portion, and you'll most likely be having leftovers; it's a mighty amount of flavorful food! Friendly staff and great food. Mac and cheese was awesome, salad was good. Pulled pork and brisket sandwiches were also amazing. Spicy BBQ for life.

Friendly staff, place was clean. Food was average to below average for a bbq place. Usually beans at a bbq joint have seasoning, not so much here. No pepper, no salt best I could tell, no anything, just beans in a weak sauce. Meat was a little bit dry, and not very well smoked or seasoned. They made up for it on the sweet potato fries. Over seasoned big time. That’s what you get when you eat at a chain restaurant. I’m sure many of you will disagree. Come with me to places I know in Memphis and Austin, try some real bbq, then tell me what you think.

Compared to several bbq franchises. Great prices for the food. Got a special offer on a regular. Got 3 meat plate with turkey, jalapeno sausage, and brisket. Brisket was not tender in some parts but little chewy. Still highly recommend

Sauce is great, kielbasa is good, brisket, not so much. Out of town on business and I like to try new places, especially BBQ places. Did a search, Dickies was at the top, that was my choice. Ordered a half pound of brisket, sliced and kielbasa. Food was done on time and staff was friendly. My brisket however was a pile of what appeared to be scraps. Dried out and burnt. Not a slice of anything. I managed to eat half of it, but I've had good brisket and this wasn't it. Some of the burnt was hard as charcoal. Who would eat that? Why would you serve that? This was my first and last visit to Dickies Barbecue Pit. Many options out there, my search goes on... UPDATE: While it's not possible for me to accept the more than fair offer from the owner, the quick response and fact they care about the quality of their food certainly warrants a second chance. I will return the next time I'm in the area. Carla, thank you!

Update, went today ordered two kids meals, one sandwich with a side and a 2- meat plate with a piece pecan pie. The total was $56. Something didn't sit right, so after adding up the pricing from the menu I realized I was charged almost $10 more than listed. I asked the cashier and found out they've had "3 or 4 price increases" without updating the menu. All I got was a "sorry about that!" The "upcharge" brisket was dry to top it off.. *the review below was from 4 years ago and a different owner. 2019 We've used this location for lunch and catering and they never disappoint. The owner of this location is super friendly and easy to work with if you're planning an event.

Kudos to Ric and Carla Wren/Dickeys Springboro. We had a small (12) birthday party at the Enclave. They were willing to deliver. Our order was delivered exactly on time, the food was amazing and the service was superb! To top it off, I received a call from Ric this morning, Just calling to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. What restaurant does that?!! Thank you Ric, Carla and staff!

Just needs a little more attention to food quality. We got a sampler platter. Brisket was shredded. I never really had it like that before and was cold. The rest of the food was awesome, and the nice little place. Also, they need to check the restroom alittle more often. I would say it has been months since it had been deep cleaned very gross. I would definitely try it again if in the area.

Yesterday afternoon my wife, myself, and our 3 young toddlers visited for the first time. Let me say the customer service was great. The gentleman who greeted us before we even entered the door was friendly and very understanding about our 3 very hyper toddlers. The two girls who helped us as well were very kind and sweet with our kids. Food was good. We will definitely be back.

It was a little confusing when you walk in for your first time but the staff was super friendly. The food was amazing. We got pulled pork and you get to watch them make the food in front of you. The barbecue is great I loved the spicy. Bathrooms are super clean. And you get free ice cream when you dine in

Service was nice. Although, for our first time there, we didn't know where or how to order, so that was a bit confusing. We got out food right away and sat down. The food was just okay, if I'm being honest. The loaded potato casserole is just dry mashed potatoes with tiny pieces of something throughout. Mac and cheese was good but it's not home style Mac and cheese. They have free ice cream which is a nice treat! Here's my issue, there was absolutely NO place that we could sit to get away from the sun beaming through the window!! We regretted even dining in just after a couple minutes. The window it was coming through can/should have blinds or at least a tint. I took a picture of what I was seeing the whole time I was there. My husband did his best to shield with his head but he was eating too. I don't know if we'll be back or not but if we do, it'll be to go or when the sun isn't out to burn our corneas.

Miss Carla, the owner is absolutely delightful. Genuinely cares about her customers, her staff and the food she serves. Everything was hot fresh and delicious. Brisket mac and cheese is divine. She comes around to check on you and see if you need anything and are pleased. What a gem. Thanks Carla!

Pretty great food. Love how they don't pre add the BBQ sauce and let you choose which one to have. The price was shocking but I would still say it was worth every so often when you feel like treating yourself to some delicious bbq

I stopped in to grab lunch, for the first time. I received a friendly greeting, the employees explained all the specials to me, let me try samples, and showed me the free ice cream machine! The food and service was phenomenal. I'll definitely be back!

This is a great BBQ place with fantastic bbq and sides including great fried okra. But most importantly the owners care about their business and customers. They are always asking if people need anything. And always want to make things right. This is how you run a business! Keep it up guys.

I've loved this location for a long time. Not only is the food great but they've managed to keep their prices in check compared to many lesser barbecue places and the staff is super extra friendly! They always go out of their way for their customers.

My first visit here and I LOVE it!! The workers are the sweetest people ever, super helpful and just amazing. They were very patient with us being new customers and they allowed us to sample a few things and gave us tons of suggestions. It's very clean and welcoming. The food is soo good too! I can't wait for my next visit!

Their food is so good! Their meats are so tender and flavored well. The sides are so delicious! They're definitely home made. This isn't any warm up in a steamer or microwave food. I had to go 3 days in a row!

Fantastic BBQ. I do not eat sauces. Two of the party enjoyed regular and spicy. The meat (pork) was moist and tasty. The sides were well seasoned, our group of three each had "cabbage slaw" one each of french fries, green beans and jalapeno beans. We each drank delicious unsweet tea. One enjoyed ice cream following the meal. The staff is friendly and helpful. One in our group is a seasoned traveler. He was impressed with the quality and flavor of the food.

As a Chiefs fan i got my game day ribs. Got the half rack combo with mac n chees and green beans. As always they have good consistent ribs. Mac was good to. Only the green beans were watery and bland. I also got dessert because can't have a expected Chiefs win without celebration vanilla pudding! So shout out to the person who put the wafers in a separate container! So they didn't get soggy!! (Ordered through doordash)

Very clean, friendly people and Awesome food. French fries were awesome. Mac and cheese was delicious. Pork and sauces were awesome! Compared with Hickory River—this is just a little better. Visit HIckory River when going north , but come to Dickie’s when heading south!

Very good but small menu and some more sides would be nice. But we have tried the lamb and beef taco .. both very good. They fry the tortilla which i prefer vs soft taco. Has alot of flavor. Prefer green sauce.

One of the best places to get treated like home!! Very nice and polite, excellent customer service! Everyone of their team members will make you feel amazing just by being there! And nonetheless the food is awsome!!

This is the really good barbeque for Dayton. I am always pleased with my experiences here! The staff is so sweet and very helpful, the food is great, and there is complimentary (self serve) vanilla soft serve!
