Stop in for lunch with a group of 6. Ordered food at the bar and then sat ourselves. They bring your order to the table. Our group had smashburgers and Chicken Katsu sandwiches. Fries are done right especially dipped in their cilantro lime ranch. Pretty cool place with partitions made from cut up intermodal shipping containers. Local art on the wall. Beer styles for most palates. Had the Koeze Cream pastry stout (gave untapped rating of 3.5) but many more styles to choose from. All around cool place to hang out.

This is an awesome stop, just off the beaten path of 28th Street. They have a ton of seating with a small gaming section. Their beer selection was good and their food is fantastic! We were the most impressed with the Togarashi Fries.

Did a tour of breweries in the Grand Rapids area. This was my favorite. Great beer and food. The food was unique and really good. They have some arcade games too which was fun. Staff was friendly. If you like hazy ipas this is a good stop. I got a few beers and liked them all. I ended up getting the togarashi fries (amazing), fried curry rice balls and the noodle dish. They had a good menu for vegans and I’d be a regular here if I lived close. The space is large and uses old shipping containers (or what is supposed to look like them) for booths.togarashi

Had to hit this place up while in Grand Rapids. Ordered a children's Chicken Strip basket and fries for my young en.. got a flight for myself. Food was hot and tasty. She enjoyed the chicken strips and fries. I tried both, and they were in fact pretty tasty. The beer options cover all the bases. I honestly think Broad Leaf has something for everyone. I cannot say anything negative about the options I selected. I think you would find something for your tastes here, whether food or beverage.

Nice place to go. Beers galore and cocktails aren't that bad either! Food was amazing but messy. The only gripe about the place is for being a brewery there's an abundance of kids (around lunch at least) 🤷🏻‍♀️

Welcoming place with interesting food options (drunken noodles are not common at breweries). The staff was attentive and informative. They have a video and pinball area as well as a stage for shows. The porter I had was decent but not great. I also had the cream ale which was very smooth and tasty. Just had the fries with dipping sauce as a snack and they were tasty. They don't have a ton of beer options but they do serve cocktails with their own distilled spirits. The only real negative in my opinion is the place is quite noisy due to the high ceilings.

We forgot to take a photo of the drunken noodles. It was great but do be careful on the spice. Someone didn't and they were mad. This kitchen is up for messing you up. I like this place. Definitely going back.

This is the second time here.... Tried the Cesar salad & Drunken Noodles. Totally loved the live music but found to be a bit too loud..... We both tried a different cocktail, each very unique. Played video games (ms. pacman) ☆ while we waited for our food. Noticed they also have a bin where you can drop off pet food. ❤️ 🐾

M husbands steak dish was amazing my drunken noodles with chicken not so much. Getting mild means no flavor so don’t make that mistake because they don’t warn you when ordering. My dish was flavorless until I dipped what I could in my husbands sauce. He saved the day since I brought it up and no other solution offered except chili sauce which was just ok for chicken. Had a cocktail…sours tasted too watery. Tried 2 of 4 my husband had. Just use to sours being more flavorful.since it is supposed to taste like fruit…fruitoopia….great atmosphere….order everything at bar. Braille on beer cans was cool!

One of our favourite breweries. Amazing staff, fantastic beer, delicious food and great vibes. Drunken noodle is our go to dish but we love all the special features. Open mic nights and special events are great and we frequent Monday containers night (you can get up to a liter of select beer for $5 in any containers that hold liquid, so we have been fairly creative). You can also book the upstairs private shipping container area for a very reasonable price. Love all the art and murals in addition to the awesome arcade games.

Very chill vibe at Broad Leaf, which is great! Very cool space, and it's big and spread out inside. The arcade games are a nice touch as well. The beer is great, maybe a touch on the expensive side. Definitely take a visit if you're thirsty!

Overall a really nice restaurant / brewery. The beer was excellent , the staff was extremely friendly. The food came out quickly and tasted great. I had the corn cheese burger, it was messy but really tasty.

Went on a Monday night, open mic night. Hazy Pale Ale and Tangy Sour were excellent. Great bartenders and their food was way beyond expectations for a brewery…Buldak chicken dish was spicy & delicious. Try them out!

You're hard pressed to find a better atmosphere, food and beverage in this area of town. Chain restaurants abound near the Wooand Mall, but Broad Leaf is a welcome slice of unique and genuine in a cookie cutter commerce area. The menu ranges from simple fare made exceptionally to twists on noodle dishes that thread the needle between filling and 'foodie". Each of the beers and spirits made here are top notch and the arcade is an excellent touch for those bringing young ones along. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Great beer options as always. I had a beer called Weird Bubbles and really enjoyed it. The new menu with more vegan options was fantastic. I loved the tofu bowl, my leftovers the next day were even more flavorful! And the crispy broccoli appetizer was super tasty.

Great service. The food is delicious. The veggies in the Drunken Noodles were cooked perfectly. The Curry Rice Balls were yummy. Crispy on the outside, soft inside. I also recommend the Strawberry Gin Freefall.

Incredible Beer choices! Awesome menu, and music and ambiance! If you get a chance, the glazed Korean pork belly is to die for. It's all we had time for and I wish there were less people here because I would have licked the bowl clean. Do yourself a favor and eat and drink here and of course, be merry. You won't be able to help yourself.

We are repeat customers and love stopping by Broad Leaf. There are sooo many positives to the place. By far, the staff is some of the nicest and most helpful I have encountered. They take customer service seriously and it feels like a small town welcoming bar. Their sours, cocktails, and my favorite, Detroit Soda, are on point with unique flavors and pairings. I enjoy having a free refill soda and meal while I am there and then buying my sours to enjoy at home. The food is AMAZING with plenty of unique vegetarian options. I highly recommend the vegetarian katsu and the deep fried curry rice balls. We've established that Broad Leaf has a great business but now let's move on to all they do for the community. They are a host of several community events including hosting local artist bazaars, live music, and book club. On top of that, they sponsor local sport teams as well really giving back to the community. We just bought a membership. I am not sure we will even utilize it to the fullest extent but we were more than happy to support such a great business.
