Seen Wicked here. It's a beautiful place with a gift shop and tons of options for food. Beautiful trees for your photos!

Very caring staff. All the sound was really great out of the speakers except for the really low notes, but even that was quite minor.

My family has been patrons of the Wharton Center for decades. It has a seat for any kind of viewer. We have only attended plays. I have sat on the main floor and the Tier. Personally, I prefer sitting in the Tier even though it is quite a distance from the stage. It gives a great overall view of the stage, how the actors move, how the scenery moves, and the play itself. The acoustics are perfect, the seats are comfortable, and the working staff is helpful and friendly.

A fabulous place to see a show. The seating is comfortable and the seats are wide. As a plus size woman, I often have a problem with the seats not being wide enough, but not here. The parking is very convenient too. Our favorite place to watch a live show.

I just love attending plays, musicals, and the symphony here. The Broadway series is always my favorite. I enjoy the Lansing Symphony. The staff is always so friendly and helpful.

Great seats for all shows. No structures block your view. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Very good venue for productions whether it's a musical, a play or other. Sound quality is very good throughout the theatre. I've always had a wonderful experience at the Wharton Center

This has been the best theater I have been to. The plays, service, and atmosphere are always amazing. I have seen multiple plays and musicals here and will be seeing the rest of the Broadway season. I highly recommend this place. THERE IS LITERALLY NO BAD SEAT HERE!!

Good time. Nice facilities. Wish they would turn down the orchestra lighting by doors during the show. Otherwise, great time.

Beautiful theater, comfortable spacious seating, excellent gift shop. Current Broadway musicals and other performing arts, great acoustics and lighting. Always support the concession stand, however the refreshment selection is rather limited. Ample restrooms and parking, even a no charge ramp if you so choose. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. A wonderful experience to share with family and friends.

In the past I have frequently attended performances at the Michigan State University Wharton center. It is considered to be one of the best venues for performing arts and especially musicals in the state of Michigan and in many aspects throughout the midwest. The management at the Wharton center goes out of its way to make sure that a wide variety of different types of performances including musicals, plays, dance and choreography groups, and cultural exchange opportunities are available. Almost all the seats in this venue are good seats in terms of ability to see the performing stage, and the building was specifically designed to have great acoustics for music, singing, and voice projection. The performances feature diversity, and the audiences reflect the great diversity and cultural differences of the Greater Lansing area and beyond.

A special "Thank you!" to Cody Manthei for working with the Student Parent Resource Center on the 28th Annual Student Parent Graduation Celebration! Fron the set up in the Jackson Lounge, to the music, having the hook up and screen for our PowerPoint, to working with Morton's Catering with providing our delicious meal. Cody and his team was there for whatever we needed and with a smile. Our event was beautiful and the space at the Wharton Center was a huge part of that. I definitely recommend using the space at the Wharton Center for your banquet, meeting, or other celebratory needs!!

Great service, everyone was very helpful. I was able to buy a ticket at the box-office a few hours before the show. The staff there recommended a few restaurants to try that were near by and answered all my questions. The theater does not seem to have been updated for several years except the bathrooms, they have self flushing toilets. The down side is that it's on MSU campus.

Spartan Spectacular 2022. Awesome! Sound is very good. Sadly, the stage is a bit small for the marching band. Used to be held in the basketball arena. The band had more room for a visual performance than the Wharton provides. However, that is offset by the greater sound quality for all performances (Jazz, winds). I have seen musicals at Wharton before. Again, great sound. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. Great place to see any kind of performance.

If I could've given more stars, I would have. The stair-steps are short, and they're nice and wide, and very good railings, which made it easy for me and my Mom to get up and down them. We went to see Dear Evan Hansen, and they put it together really well. The staff are super friendly, too! I absolutely loved it, and am glad I spent time there today.

We have seen probably 20 shows.over the last 7-8 years here. The theater is spacious, seats are comfortable and parking is extremely convenient. For Book of Mormon we had the very last row, last seats on the far left and they were still pretty great! I commented that if I had to see every show from the "cheap seats" I'd still be very happy!

More sniveling weasels with scammy ticket fees. Not an ounce of integrity. If you have any self respect, don't buy tickets here. Tell your favorite performers the same

Fantastic facility. Doing their best to oversee COVID issues in this kind of venue. A mask over the chin does no good! We went to see Dear Evan Hansen -tremendous. A very sad plot, well written and a great performance. We are fortunate to have Wharton in East Lansing!

Good acoustics. All seats are good. If you have difficulty with stairs do not sit in the grand tier. No elevator goes all the way up and I saw many people that have difficulty walking have to climb steep steps

Smaller lounges for less than 100 people? I had no idea this was an option. Fantastic spaces on second floor, with entertaining or catering spaces right next to the meeting area. Outstanding.

Saw Hamilton, great venue. No center isle. All seats are good. We had front row and were right by the orchestra

Wonderful venue with a great choice of entertainment options. Had a great evening watching Brit Floyd. The light show was very impressive.

Came here for a Highschool Graduation. The building was beautiful. The auditorium was large, spacious and the perfect place the graduation to occur. There was plenty of room for the hundreds of parents and families to see their child walk across that stag. ☺️☺️

We had a great time watching the Hamilton Musical. The show was amazing! The Wharton Center is beautiful. The seats were comfortable and the ushers did a fine job helping us. We will definitely be back for another show.
