A great budget option that's functional and clean. The Cliff Rainbow is not fancy, but it's well maintained and comfortable. The outside is definitely underwhelming - someone clearly planned a 3rd floor on the main building, and then gave up halfway though. But the rooms are very clean and the staff are helpful. I'm not giving it 5 stars mostly because of some minor inconveniences, like the location, which doesn't give good enough views to justify its distance from the town center. (You can walk to most places that aren't the airport, but give yourself 15-20 minutes.) Also, you can only book through email, and the process can take a few days.

It is a very clean nice place. The staff is friendly, the restaurant has good food, your stuff is safe there, and car rental is available too. They have air conditioning too, which is a must have on this island.

Whatever you do, DO NOT eat here. lol. Joke, the menu is about as exciting as a broom without a stick... Dont get me started on the rooms, even the hallway leading to the rooms looks like it comes straight out of a horror movie... and the poor-excuse-of-what-they-call a "wifi".. And the receptionist acts as if YOU should be thankful she's even there to begin with... Poor experience here

It's poor. Yes it is cheap for $42, but hey... It's not allowed to dry your shirt outside. Some stuffs are not the friendliest people on the island. If you have a little bit more money, go to other place.

Review is for the restaurant only. I ate dinner here a few times. My favorite is the blackened tuna. The pizza is pretty good too, but they only make it at certain hours.

Do NOT eat at this restaurant. If you are allergic to something and it’s not stated on the menu they will not remake your food. I almost had an allergic reaction due to the carelessness of the kitchen and their refusal to remake food that they garnished with olives. I have NEVER had a problem at any restaurant in Pohnpei except this one. Worst service ever. And there is NOT even a manager you can talk to. Apparently they don’t come to work.

When I've stayed at the Cliffs, the rooms were cozy with a/c. Very relaxing pleasant experience.

Thousands of parasitic insects in rooms. The rooms are very small with very small windows like in prison. Breakfast and WiFi not included. Very aggressive staff. Very dirty.

Restaurant very unreliable, doesn't have fixed hours of working. They screamed at me when I came at 6-55 to get my coffee (they are supposed to open at 6 am), then left me stranded without food before a 17 hour flight.

Everything you need, nothing more. Great food. Fast Wifi. I booked online and a driver was waiting for me at the airport. The front desk can arrange a driver for exploring the island. This is a remote island, remember that and keep expectations reasonable. If you want luxury, go to Hawaii.. this is adventure travel.

Friendly stuff, nice room, very soft and comfortable bed, and very clean environment so green so full of life!!! Good place to stay. The manager of this hotel is very friendly and welcoming! You'll know him already when u first set foot out of their tourist bus. 🤩🤩

Great place to stay. Quiet and very clean. Staff are very friendly and cuisine is excellent. Free WIFI available on check-in. If you wanna save some money, stay in the standard rooms at $42, otherwise the deluxe rooms go for $127.
