Great service, clean place, friendly service. LOVED the Joy lunch special... had it twice and failed to have my phone to get a good pic, sorry. The soup was an unexpected treat, sushi was fantastic. All around great place.

Arnold's do a great pizza, the service was good and the place was clean. Best of all they have a decent coffee machine which can make a pretty decent cappuccino in a mug size. Well done Arnold's now on my list of favourite places to eat in Pohnpei.

I had the ramen and sashimi and both were good. They have a great little gift shop, as well. They offered a dish of "free local specialty" for us to try- I think it was some kind of picked radish and I thought that was really neat.

Highly recommended place to eat in Pohnpei. We were told to come here by our KandyAlliance™ guide. The cheese burger was great - American style patty - and the Ramen was generous and tasty. Some interesting art on the wall, with more of a cosy diner feel. You can order alcoholic drinks, Plenty of parking.

Very nice and cozy place. One of the originals here. Right in the very heart of town. Major stores are within walking distance. Restaurant available here and the menu offered is excellent. Friendly staff. 5 minute drive from the airport.

Best Sashimi on island. Order the Joy Lunch or Joy dinner to get a plate of fried fish, sashimi, miso or seaweed soup, steamed rice, and cabbage salad in a bento box. Fresh and well prepared. Nothing to fault.

Awsome place to eat at middle of kolonia town....

Recommended by the locals. I usually photograph attractive meals before I devour; however, this ‘Thai’ dish was homely looking.

Dropped into hotel for a meeting with a friend and ended up stopping for dinner. A very Japanese focused menu, so we opted for the Pork Ramen and Pork Udon, our personal favourites, and couple of Asahi Pacific Blue beer. Order took about 25-30 minutes, but we were chatting amongst ourselves, and it all came out one by one about 5 minutes apart. But these were probably the best ramen and udon we have had outside of Japan. Broth had a deep flavour and the pork was abundant and well cooked through. The Udon was bouncy as required, and ramen was firm not soft, just like we like it. Highly recomended for ramen or udon in Kolonia, Ponhpei.

They’re known for their sashimi alas no tuna was available when we visited. Service was prompt, and the restaurant’s bustling. Steak was so-so, but the pork broth ramen was decent (essentially it tastes like they use the canned pig trotters for the meat + broth) with actual noodles (unlike a few other places in Pohnpei where they serve you instant noodles when you order a ramen). Oyakodon serving was generous but waaaaay too dry (egg and chicken were both overcooked) and not enough seasoning given the large amount of rice.

The restaurant delivers consistently a great price:quality ratio. Not pretentious, just good. Joy lunch is great, and large.
