Very enjoyable the meals were reasonably priced with a good variety and generous sizes, also had a good selection on the special board. They are going through renovations at present but the club is looking great and when its finished it will be a great improvement and very comfortable. 👍

Enjoyed, they are doing major renovations should be fantastic when finished. Had a meal of roast pork was a bit dry but veggies were perfect.

We went there for the food. Happy to say the selection on the menu was quite broad. There is definitely something for everyone. The pricing at the time of our visit was more than fair. The chef and cooks really enjoy their work and that shows in the finished product. We have vacationed in five star accommodation and eaten in five star venues. Having something to compare to, we give them five stars 🌟. Thankyou for a wonderful meals.

Nice spot - a short walk from the town - 20-25 minutes. Easy drive and good parking at the door. Sign in at the door - using Licence. All the usual club things. Good bar and food. Well laid out, comfortable, quiet - generally. Staff efficient and very friendly. Not sure about kids - maybe ring on this.

Club renovations look great, happy smiling faces greet you however the food servings for the kids meals were terrible.. nuggets and chips consisted of 3 soggy nuggets and about 6 chips.. I had to buy another bowl as my 2x 11 year olds were still hungry and finished their meal in around 3 minutes. Kids meals are suited to toddlers not older children. Disappointing. Our meals were ok but won’t go back..

Great food and service with loads of very welcoming staff just be aware the whole town rocks up for the meat raffle so it might start to be a challenge to find some parking but apart from that minor inconvenience it is a great place to get a meal and spend an evening

My dad worked 18 years for you 18 years and it will never be forgotten what your actions and true show of self. Couldn't return a phone call to book the wake. Then give his co workers the wrong funeral time and advertise it wrong. Then the food is served 30 minutes late. Then hover around like weasel to rudely but in to remind us the food hasn't been paid for. Only to find out that they kept half out the back. They were worried cause they wanted full payment still who knows what the rest of the food was going towards. Then after being caught. The Sporties Club has under gone renovations and it looks great. Staff were friendly. Bar service was quick. Bowling greens are in good condition. Coffee shop was doing a good trade and make a very nice Salad roll. Plenty of people using the Restaurant.

Destroyed a funeral and wake of one of there own workers of 18 years. Gave the wrong time to everyone even there workers who wanted to attend then at the wake served food 30 minutes late rudely interrupted to make sure payment will be received before leaving. Not understanding why to find out only half the food was received and the other half was waiting to be resold. After been caught the club still waited full payment. After arguing with a old lady gave a estimate price. WHAT A NIGHTMARE THE DISGUSTING ESTABLISHMENT OF MONEY HUNGRY SOULLESS SO CALLED HUMANS 18 YEARS CLIVE SMITH GAVE TO THIS COMPANY AND LOOK WHAT YOU DID SHAME SHAME SHAME

Went for lunch and food was very good and tasty. Bistro and club area was clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and polite. Would recommend The Sporties.

Very grateful for the camping. Enjoyed our meal although the sweets looked a bit sad and we couldn't get a hot drink after 8:00 either but still a great stay and dinner. Called in for coffee the next afternoon as well and got a good one.

Always enjoy ourselves there. Clean, friendly, good food, reasonable prices, lovely atmosphere. Recommended. 👍

Truly a great place to visit when on holidays. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. They also had some great holiday activities for the kids!

Good food reasonable prices. Busy on the evening we were there but the service was good.

First visit, but will definitely go on regular rotation. Meals were delicious - perfectly cooked steak and lamb cutlets with vegetables. Just big enough, we were both full but not over stuffed.

Great place to stay lovely people in the club but make sure you lock everything up.Someone tried to steal my pushbike off the rack on my motorhome. They cut the 2 straps I had keeping my cover on and lifted a bit of the cover up but I guess they noticed the 3 locks I had on it so gave up.They did steal a bike from a home nearby and left that on the grass near my motorhome police came and returned that bike to the owners.Lots of social housing around here so be careful.

Couldn't believe the updates to the club. Well done to the designers. Great idea expanding the back room to make a great viewing onto the large green. BTW loved the greens as well.

Was at a b'day luncheon & all the meals were great from the snitty, pasta, steak, barra fillet & snags & bacon plus cheesy garlic bread

Surprisingly pleasant place to take my young daughter. A nice ol fella taught her how to play lawn bowls while we're relaxing outside. The interior of Sporties looks nice and the staff are great. A relaxing place.

We went to club Forster only to find the special was at Tuncurry. I phoned and they kept the bistro open purely for us. They were super friendly and welcoming. The schnitzel was delicious

Great place to stop as a visitor passing through. They allow self contained motorhomes / RVs to stay ($5 per person). It's a large club that has had some recent renovations. Food was good 👍

Had a great lunch and then a few games of Lucky 8 afterwards. Won enough to buy a coffee and cake from the cafe. Friendly and professional staff.

It has been a year since we had a meal last time. The whole environment is lovely after renovation, the food is getting better as well. The two missing stars are because of the rough salad and a little bit overpriced compared with other places.

My partner and I & our 15 year old grandson just had lunch here & all our meal's were really yummy 😋. We would recommend the Sporties for a good meal at a reasonable price
