I love this place so much! It was awesome playing the pinball machines from the past and reading their history. There was even Pacman, frogger, Donkey Kong, and Mario Bros. I felt like a kid again. $20 an Adult seems expensive until you add up how many quarters you would use to play.

Must visit place in Chattanooga! Great selection of machines along with interesting history on them. Machines were either in great condition or clearly labeled as under restoration. Staff was helpful, friendly, and very knowledgeable.

This place was fun for all ages. I enjoyed the large amount of pinballs machines along with its history. They had step stools for smaller kids. The price is affordable. It’s wall king distance to food and the river

We had the BEST time here! We’ve always gone by when it was closed, so since it was open when we passed we had to stop! My husband and I both loved it. Tons of fun, great price, and a really awesome manager! Walt was the coolest!! We loved getting to talk with him for a bit. He has a ton of knowledge and it was really cool to get to learn all about the different machines. It was also super clean, like the cleanest bathrooms I’ve seen. They’re being really careful stay sanitary! We’ve already made plans to bring my parents and my grandfather by in the next few weeks. I can’t wait!

This place was a lot of fun. It is especially great if you get their early enough for their weekday special. It was nice to introduce my kids to arcade games from when I was a child. It was their first time seeing pin ball machines as well. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. We were given wrist bands, so we were able to leave for a bit to eat lunch and then came back to play some more.

This place is great if you are a child of the 80's and the pinnacle of arcade popularity. For $15 you can play all you want on any machine. For a nerd like me, I loved that each pinball machine had an info card on it telling you all about the machine and it's facts and history. All machines are in great shape and run the gambit from 1960s through 2017. The cabinet machines are also a wide variety and and in great shape. I could have played for hours. I highly recommend!

This place is awesome! Unlimited play with admission on dozens of both pinball and arcade games. I'm worn out, but my wife is in her happy place and plans on playing every single pinball machine they have. We will definitely be coming back the next time we are in Chattanooga

If you love pinball, if you enjoy the older games, then I highly recommend giving this a try! It's been quite a while since I've played pinball like this, and you pay one price, get as much time as you want, can come and go all day and enjoy the machines! They have a wide range to choose from, many many options to pick and it's well worth it!

The Classic Arcade Pinball Museum is located on Broad Street in Chattanooga, Tennessee. If you are of a certain age, it is a must stop for the memories of youth. First, the bad. The Pinball Museum is expensive unless you spend the entire day here or go every day on a Membership pass. The cost for one day was currently $20 in 2023. You can play every machine for free, but unless you spend a long time playing, you will not get any value to your visit. There is no cost to play the arcade and Pinball machines except for the high admission price. Despite this, it was aggravating that the Pinball machines were not level but tilted to one side. In addition, both the Pinball and Arcade machines all displayed wear on the components which diminished the fun factor of playing the machines. Now the good. There are numerous Pinball and Arcade machines to play for free. There were Pinball machines to play from the 1970s to Pinball machines released this year. There were history sheets on each machine, giving it a more Museum quality. Most of the flippers on every machine had rubber wore down or had a poor response feel. The Arcade machines also exhibited a poor response feel. Still, there was an incredible variety of machines to play. It was cool and unique to play so many variety of machines in one place. If you love Pinball and Arcade games, the Classic Arcade Pinball Museum is a must visit. It is expensive and I didn't get a Museum experience, but it was nice to play machines of my youth. Looking at you, Kiss Pinball and Centipede/Galaga Arcade. I will visit again and it is worth a visit.

A great pinball/arcade joint. Tons of machines in great condition, on free play, all for a flat price. There are also a few snacks and drinks, your typical colas and chips. Staff are friendly. I will definitely be coming back.

Great little diversion in downtown Chattanooga. Stopped in for an hour, got my money’s worth while it was half price. They have a good selection of early, mid-90’s, and modern pinball machines along with a line of classic arcade games. I don’t as able to grab a cheap beer too. Recommended to any pinball fans.

Loads of fun!!! We bought a day wristband, which allowed us to come and go throughout the day. We had great fun trying out the pinball machines, which ranged from vintage models to newer ones.

Very friendly, bright, and filled with sounds of a real arcade! My kids love pinball, tables new and old, and this arcade has many tables they've never played before. There is a price up front for a wrist band, so you can even walk out if you want and come back. Planning to with work this place into a movie night out in the near future. Can't wait to go back! (Pictured with this post is final score on my play of Hercules. Worth the trip just for that!)

This is such a cool and nostalgic place! My family of 4 (including an 11 and 9 year old) arrived soon after opening, and the is was nearly empty. Walt greeted us promptly and was extremely welcoming. He remembered my son from a previous visit and complimented him on his Super Mario shirt. He explained how the process works and told us to have fun. We loved how all games were included in the one admission price, and there was a brief history to read at each game. Some are pretty rare (like the Domino's pinball machine). Walt took the time to chat and tell me how the museum got started. It was really interesting. This is certainly a fun stop to make for visitors and locals!!

Awesome place for pinball and video games! Hit the museum unfortunately a little before close, but got a discounted rate for free play for myself and my sons for the short time that remained before closing. The spot has a great selection of machines in great working order. Talked a bit with Walt who was super friendly and helpful

Awesome! Took my nephew to this place and had a great time playing some cool pinball machines from the 70s to the 10s. They have a few older models waiting to be refurbished, so I will definitely be back to try those. They also have beer!

This was such a fun experience. We were there with two 13 years olds and they enjoyed the pinball machines and the retro video games. It was also a place following COVID precautions — everyone was masked up and the front area was open air. It was worth the drive from Nashville. We will be back.

It was awesome to play a range of pinball games from 1940’s up to the 2020’s. I have never seen any of these tables in real life before coming here. I really did learn a few interesting facts about pinball and ww2. I did not even know 80% of these tables were even made. It really was a cool museum. I am just not sure how I feel about games I played as a kid are now considered museum games? Buy a wrist band and can come and go. It was unique.

Such a unique and fun place to checkout when traveling through Chattanooga! One pays flat fee ($12 for a kid, on the day we were there,--can't remember how much for an adult as we didn't play) and plays pinball or vintage arcade games for as long as desired. Our young kids were exposed to arcade games from OUR childhood (Joust, Galaga, Pac Man, Mario Bros., etc!) and loved them even though graphics were pixelated 😜. Pinball encyclopedias were available to explore history of such an interesting pastime. Each pinball machine had dates they were created and other interesting tidbits. Staff were so kind and they have a snack booth in the back if you're hungry or thirsty. It was a fun time for all.

So much fun! $20 for adults and $16 for kids. You can play all day. So many games. Fun to reminisce about going to the arcade or the playing games at a bowling alley as a kid. The games were in great shape. Wish they had a couple of my all time favorites. But they had some that I never liked as a kid and since it was free, I tried as an adult and it was great! The old time machines were so cool. The place has nice clean bathrooms and so great to be smoke free (wasn't like that in most arcades of long ago). We were only going to stay for an hour, but the addiction comes out and you want to play every game. Ended up staying 3 hours! Totally got out money's worth. There were also some snacks/drinks you could buy here. Logan was very nice working that day. Loved it!

Like a dream come true for me. I spent a lot of time when I was a kid playing the NES game Pinball with my dad, so I've always had an interest in both arcade-era gaming and pinball machines. However, having been born way after the whole arcade craze of the 20th century, I never got to truly enjoy these the way the previous generation did. This place scratched an immense itch I had to try authentic Pinball machines from all generations and styles and I haven't had this much fun in a while. Machines that were built from the 40s to the present day. Some difficult, some frustrating, some creative, some weird, some beautiful. This place succeeds not only as a museum but a wonderful arcade. On the video game side of things, this was also my first time playing a lot of classics on an authentic arcade machine: Mario Bros, Donkey Kong, Galaga, Pac-Man... wonderful stuff. $20 well spent.

Great place to play pinball in downtown Chattanooga. Many different tables to try.

  • 5/5 Jason M. 1 year ago on Google
First time back since 2018. This place is awesome. The machines are all in good working condition or tagged as scheduled for renovation. You will be hard-pressed not to get your money's worth. My 12-year-old particularly enjoyed the classic arcade games, especially Spy Hunter. I wish I lived closer because I'd have an annual membership.

It was a rainy day on our trip and we were looking for something to do that was inside. My husband absolutely loves pinball machines, so this was an obvious choice for us. The experience was really amazing and nostalgic, but there were a couple of downsides that kept me from giving it a 5. Probably the biggest negative for me was the admission price/setup. There's a flat fee for adults and children, and it was a bit steep for us. I think it would be really cool if they had a different fee structure where people could come in for a certain amount of time for a cheaper rate, though I can see how that might be tedious to keep up with based on the amount of staff that they had that day. There's no way that a family like us (we have a six year old) can really take advantage of the value in an all day pass for almost $20 per person. Aside from price, it was a bit disappointing that they didn't have any merchandise/gift shop options, and they also didn't have any concessions except candy bars and chips. A great deal of the games were out of order because they were scheduled for maintenance, but there's nothing that can be done to avoid that. All-in-all, my husband loved being able to play games, and it was fun to walk around and look at all of the different games and art styles, but it hit the wallet hard for a very short-lived experience.

  • 4/5 Michael H. 1 year ago on Google
Has lots of pinball machines to play, as well as a nice selection of great non pinball items, ranging from classic arcade games to Golden Tee. It has a good system where it gives you an all day wristband for a good flat price. I would recommend this as it is child friendly and fun, and I found a little niche game in the back, where if you get a certain number of points it gives you baseball cards that are original to the machine from 1991. Very fun place!

  • 5/5 Maxwell K. 1 year ago on Google
Great place and fun for all ages. The price of admission is fair as you can play all day. The staff is friendly and in addition to pinball machines, there are old arcade games as well. Definitely worth the stop!

  • 5/5 Lee R. 4 years ago on Google
Friendly staff invited us in after I was staring through the window. Incredible machines and some real great ones that have been restored. Making it a place to stop every time I come to Chattanooga.

  • 5/5 HerrKrieg 4 years ago on Google
To put it simply, this place is awesome. The employees are cool, the collection is impressive, and if you enjoy pinball, it's a no-brainer to stop in.

  • 5/5 Amanda E. 1 year ago on Google
Great little spot that's $20 a person play ALL you want; we enjoyed reading about each game and the games from the 1970s were particularly cool! I do not recommend this for young children. There are several great food spots within walking distance including Poke World. If you show up during their last hour, you can pay $12 and play until closing.

We stopped in Chattanooga for a day to spend a day having fun for our teenagers birthday and ended up stopping by this place on a whim. At first we were concerned it seemed a little pricy, but we ended up having a lot of fun and spent several hours there, and then even came back for a little bit after dinner. My husband has been playing older arcade games with our daughter for a few years now and this place had their favorites. Everyone was nice and the machines were well taken care of. We will definitely be back next time we stay in Chattanooga.

Such a fun experience. Especially fun for us grown adults that remember having only so many quarters at the arcade when we were younger. To be able to play a game long enough to actually gain some skill was absolutely amazing. Very clean and welcoming, enough games to play even during busy spells. They allow you to leave to eat, visit other places and come back.

  • 5/5 G B. 1 year ago on Google
Easily the coolest place I’ve been to in awhile! We were in Chatt for 4 days and had to come back here for a second visit. Logan was there both times and is super sweet and knowledgeable. You pay admission and then it’s unlimited play the rest of the day. This place has such a cool, relaxed vibe and is easy to spend hours in without realizing. It feels much more like an actual arcade than any other place I’ve been to. We would give anything to have one of these closer to us!

  • 5/5 Catherine D. 3 years ago on Google
This place is great! My family was so excited to go here on our vacation. The guy at the front was friendly and helpful. The machines all ran well and the little description of history with each machine were really interesting. The price was so reasonable and the wristbands let us leave for lunch and come back with no trouble. We'll definitely go again if we ever come back to Chattanooga!
