We went to the Keys for breakfast on a midmorning weekday. All breakfasts were of a really high standard and great quality ingredients. Having eaten out at a number of pubs in Yarm this was the best breakfast so far and one of the most reasonably prices. Service was quick and friendly. I will be going again.

We went on the early bird menu and both had the Parmasan. It was very fresh, nice thick piece of chicken and homemade chips. Apple and pear crumble was really nice, and my husband had no complaints with his brownie. Staff friendly.

Ordered breakfast, with 3 kids, which took around an hour to come. Only after about 45 mins, when we asked where our order was, did the server say that everyone ordered at the same time and ours was out next. Everyone else I noticed when I went to the toilet, had already had their breakfast and finished eating. One of the children only ordered a tea cake! It would have been a good idea when ordering, if this was even true, to say that it had just got really busy and did the children want theirs straight away as there was going to be a bit of a delay. We got there at 10am and by the time we got our food, it was 1125. We were almost ready for lunch at this point not breakfast! When the good did arrive, there was orders wrong, plates that hadn’t been fully plated and sausages difficult to chew! Kids were having a meltdown by this point! The server offered us some free drinks but to be honest, it didn’t even nearly compensate. Will not be returning and wouldn’t recommend

We went here for our daughters leaving party from primary school. Staff were great, DJ was awesome and the food was tasty and very well presented even though it was just for kids. As an event space for a party I'd recommend it.

Came here for our works Christmas afternoon out....food was alright but the service (especially after food) was non existent was left to fend for ourselves, nobody asked if we wanted teas or coffees after taking our desserts away although the table oppersite got seen every 2-3 mins, wouldn't recommend for a Christmas outting

Waited 20+ minutes for a latte and a basic coffee. Waited a further 30+ Minutes for an omelette and pancakes. Ice cream was cream and omelette came without side dishes ordered (bacon and sausage). No apologies for wait. First and last time for us. Pathetic.

Very nice, lovely staff and good food. Had fish and chips the fish was far to big for the plate ,chips were golden and crispy but soft potatoe inside. Quality meal.

Lovely food but when we went it was a busy day so our service wasn't as good as normal.

I've been to the Keys Restaurant many times-mostly in the afternoon for coffee. The restaurant has a large variety of seating including a nice outside area. The service is always quick and polite, and the food is a good standard. I particularly love the breakfast at the Keys! At busy times, booking may be required.

Always like to come here with friends and family when we fancy a little treat. Good atmosphere, food and staff. This visit was lunch for my mums 84th birthday. The service was great and the food lovely. They had put balloons on the table for her already, I also brought one along too, which made her feel special. Lovely treat for her.

We booked a table for my mums 80th birthday, we brought banners, balloons etc and they decorated our table superbly. I had the gluten free fish and chips and so did my mum and it was gorgeous the fish was one of the best I've ever eaten. Everyone enjoyed there meals the only problem was the gluten free pizza it was tiny and should of be mentioned on meau. I understand that's the size they come in but it's not enough to eat for a man. You can buy large pizza bases in any supermarket xxx

A group of 5 mums and babies visit here for breakfast every week and are always greeted with a smile. The staff can't do enough for us, the facilities are great and the food brilliant. Highly reccomend.

After being initially told our booked table, would have to wait 1.5hrs for our food, we committing ourselves to a just drink order. 10 mins later food prep time was reduced to 25mins. In the end, our food was served within 30 mins after ordering and was delicious. What looked like carnage of a bar with a long queue, waiting staff telling us a 1.5hrs was quoted by the chef, and very little 'feet on the ground' they actually vrated the experience. Julie and julie running the floor deserve all the tips, not just put 'in the box'. They were the front of the ooperations and carried your business successfully. Catering well to the customer with many gracious smiles even when under pressure.

Went in by chance on our first visit to Yarm. Lovely cosy atmosphere early evening. Food was excellent. Our first Parmo experience, and certainly not disappointed. Staff were lovely and attentive without overdoing it. I could have chosen many dishes off the very interesting menu and look forward to coming back and trying more.

Went to the keys for the first time with my fiancée tonight and it did not disappoint, the staff were amazing, the food equally good. We each ordered starter, main dessert. I had the potato skins and garlic and my fiancée the halloumi sticks with the chilli jam (which she said was the nicest she’s had) I had the burger which was massive and full of flavour and she had the fungi parmo which was huge. I had the sticky toffee pudding and she had the apple crumble. Couldn’t finish it as it was massive. Definitely recommend this place and will 100% be back soon!!

Our first visit, turned out to be a little disappointing. Seemed a little chaotic, the waitress didn't seem to know much about the new menu, and struggled to find things on the order pad. She was also unaware of the various out of stock dishes, of which there turned out to be quite a few. Food was slow once ordered. We had to change our order a few times due to various out of stocks being relayed to us all at different times. This obviously didn't help the service or timings. Whilst the team were very apologetic, I did feel that they should have better communication between kitchen and front of house. Helping keep the customer more informed, earlier in the process. Having worked in hospitality myself, I know this is something very easily achieved. The food when it arrived was of a good portion size and really tasty. We all enjoyed our meals. Drinks were reasonable priced and enjoyable. Atmosphere was a little quiet, but it was Monday afternoon. Background Music was OK, and seems to fit with the decor and ambience of the venue. The venue is dog friendly and we will certainly give them another try, but by the sounds of the delivery problem they have, we probably won't be back on a Monday.

Absolutely brilliant place to go for breakfast. The staff are great, they make you feel so relaxed and welcome in the incredible well decorated surroundings. My wife always chooses the vegetarian breakfast, which she tells me is very good, and I opt for the large Kays breakfast which has to be one of the nicest I've had. All in all, it's an outstanding place.

Love the food and atmosphere here but again such a long wait and having to ask more than once how long it would be. Staff very friendly and one girl especially extremely helpful. We booked 2 hours prior to going to theatre and had to rush with 2 minutes to spare getting there. Hence 4 not 5 stars. We will be back though as apart from slow service can't fault it.

Just been to The Keys for Lunch and what a brilliant experience we had been looked after by Janine who was very friendly, polite and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious, large portions and very, very tasty being delivered in in an acceptable time frame despite it being busy. You couldn’t ask for a better experience 10/10

We had booked a table for last night weeks ago because of the COVID situation to than arrive 5 minutes before we were suppose to go in to find out that we couldn’t go in because the systems had been down for sometime , NO contact or anything to tell you don’t come nothing , after that we tried all the other pubs but were all booked because of what’s happening , The ruined our night and the rest of the group we were out with , don’t waste your time going there and book other places !!! Thanks for ruining our night out !!

I am writing this on the grounds of the food and experience I had when I attended during the day. Food was of a decent quality and cost, staff were really friendly and genuinely nice.

I've eaten Sunday lunch in probably hundreds of places, but yesterday's at the Keys was in the top three. Meat was succulent, tasty and local. All the vegetables were spot on, highlight shared between red cabbage and cauliflower cheese. Deffo a return on the cards.

This was our 2nd week in a row at the Keys in Yarm for breakfast, we were greeted at the door and given details of the safety measures in place. Last week we sat inside and today outside in the lovely garden. Food was beautiful, great value "the Big breakfast is highly recommended" with coffee & tea included too with breakfast items. Service was superb right through our visit both times. This is our lovely Saturday morning treat, we will be back next week. 10/10 food & service a real gem in Yarm

Booked a table for 7, Saturday afternoon, for 50th birthday. Service was intermittent and food was bland. For example; had to ask twice for side plates for starters, which should have arrived before the food. Pizzas were bland and overloaded with cheese, risotto was tasteless and stodgy and burger had no seasoning. Very disappointing ☹

Without doubt this is the best place to go for a Sunday dinner you will need to book as it is always busy

Large pub, restaurant and club on the High St. I've visited many times over the years for nights out or family meals. It's a great place overall and the beer garden at the back is really nice in summer. We have enjoyed the food but the service has been slow on occasions. It does get very busy at times and is a good place to visit. It changes so much over the course of a day with families having lunch together through to the pub/nightclub where the building is packed out from top to bottom. It's Yarms only nightclub now and the destination for many on a Saturday night. If you visit Yarm it's worth a visit to the Keys.

👍 Visited with a large party of colleagues. The parmo was recommended so I tried the small size with mushrooms. The chicken was very good; tender, juicy and flavorful. I would go again
