Quite a busy cafe with a nice deck area for you to enjoy the sunshine and outdoors as well. Eggs benny with smoked salmon was really small. At least the eggs were cooked well and hollandaise sauce was good. Salmon dish has a really delicious sauce but the main highlight of this dish was supposed to be the salmon, unfortunately I got very little salmon. Not impressed. Nasi goreng was alright. Chicken burger was the most worth. Thick crispy chicken accompanied with crispy bacon. Great combo with fries. Iced chai with ice cream was not bad.

The best Mushroom Burger I have ever tasted. Pancakes were extra fluffy too. Can also bring your furry friend to sit on the deck with you. Highly recommend 👌

Great cafe in Port Elliot that offers a good variety of options to order. The food is always delicious with good coffee as well. Pictured is the Chilli Eggs and the Big Breakfast both very nice and the chorizo is nice and spicy! If you are down the Fleurie give this place a try!

Loved our lunch here. Burger was amazing, chips were seasoned well and the fish is fantastic. Kids couldn't finish it so we took it for take away and I ate part of it cold. Still delicious! Will definitely come back and bring friends. Service was friendly and amazing. Highly recommended.

Lovely service. Love their special garfish burger. The truffle fries are interesting too. Nothing to complain about. Sad we came for afternoon tea, so didn’t order much. Would definitely like to try something else too.

We stayed in Goolwa and drove to Port Elliot twice to enjoy Cockles Cafe. The food is amazing. The fish and chips was light and fluffy - not at all greasy - with a refreshing side salad. The poke bowl with calamari is to die for on a warm day (or any day you want something fresh). The service was very friendly.

Delicious food and coffee, the front of house ladies were great, very friendly and accommodating. Good spot on the main street. Had the breakfast burger. Family had the kids nuggets and the deluxe cheeseburger. Both were also delicious. Kitchen removed some ingredients from the burger and served separately so the burger could be shared between my wife and daughter.

Over indulge? Of course I did. The home made hollandaise was delicious, the service was friendly, the atmosphere warm and the eggs perfectly poached with an eruption of golden goodness over the flat - so satisfying

The first day we came we had the Mexican Burger and the pumpkin salad with calamari. It was so good we came back the next day and had the smashed avo and Nasi Goreng which is the best Nasi Goreng I have had. We have also been past for coffee and smoothies on the run. I feel this is the best place in Port Elliot!

Had a lovely breakfast at Cockles cafe this morning. Pancakes with fresh fruits and maple syrup and granola, finished off with cappuccinos. All beautifully presented by helpful staff. Era molto buono. Highly recommended

What an experience! The owner is the friendliest person we met on the Fleurieu. She remembered us, made our dog welcome, and may be our 4yos new best friend 🤣 And the food is beyond incredible. Thank you! We'll be back next time we are down the Fleurieu!

The service was very quick. Unfortunately my scallops, prawns were extremely greasy. Chips were great, old school, chunky home made style 🤗

👍 Piping hot, crunchy crumbed, juicy and tender calamari served with a smile. The chips were sensational and I may have even visited a few times during my stay in PE to sneak in a couple of chicken hot packs, flooded with rich gravy - yum
