We stayed in the two bedroom apartment for two nights and was fantastic. We a slight problem with the TVs andJohn and Linda went out and beyond there way to fix the problem. Thankyou. The pool and spa was great aswell as the amazing beds. Definitely recommend to stay.

Such a beautiful place to stay but check-in at 3pm shouldn't be allowed or you should only be charged half the cost for first night ,because time you check in unpack it's nearly tea time and fist day nearly over 12pm mid day is way fair 2pm .if check in is 3pm check out should be 2pm not professional business quoting customers from 3pm to 10am is only 12 has but your charge for 24 hrs per day should be revealed and over looked at so customers aren't taken advantage of .

We Highly recommend it to come and stay very luxurious apartments and very cosy comfortable place for families and couples and staff are terrific we like to thank John and Linda staff members who came to help fixed our problem with TV and DVD they were amazing and very helpful and the future up coming plans are going to be mind blowing this place will have to make it one of the best ever after the 40 million upgrade is done as its amazing already thank you again for your greate hospitality John And Linda yous both were very helpful and very polite understanding yous staff make this place the lovely place it is 👌

My sincerest apologies if l can l would like to retract my statement and state that l really do like your golf course it is a real challenge. Your pro shop is well equipped to supply 99% of golfers what they need to play your course and your resort staff are beautifully mannered and only too pleased to help. I will have no hesitation in recommending you to any of my friends. Apologies again. Pete.

Location is stunning. The staff service was the best aspect of our stay. They were helpful friendly and respectful. Check in had a minor drawback. There was a delay to check-in which normally wouldn't bother us but our toddler wasn't pleased. The rooms were clean. The beds were a bit stiff for my liking. However, I loved the spa tub. The bistro was quite nice.

Can't speak highly enough of this hotel. Nothing beats watching the sun rise and the sun set over the mountains and the green golf course, whilst sipping on a glass of wine, seated on the balcony of my room. Relaxation plus. Rooms spotless. King size bed and in room spa heavenly. Checking in is so easy because of Jane's friendliness and efficiency. Food in the hotel's restaurant is first rate. A stand out for me was the rhubarb, strawberry and star anise cobbler. Amber made my restaurant dining experience wonderful. She has a beautiful personality, well suited to her work. Pool, spa and gym facilities immaculate and first rate. Thank you. I will return.

I stayed here for 2 days in May 2023 due to work in Victor Harbor. The room was clean with a nice view of the surrounding countryside and golf course Decor was probably about 15-20 years old but presented fine. I didn't play golf or eat at the onsite restaurant, so I can not comment on that. It has a heated indoor lap pool and spa, which looks quite nice. Unfortunately, I didn't get to use those either. I did see a Telsa destination charger in the car park, which might be helpful for future guests. There is not much in the way of shops or activities in walking distance, you'd want to have a car.

We have just left McCracken Country Club after using our 2 day Travel Auction voucher thank you to the two lovely ladies at reception Rebecca and so sorry forgot the other lady's name made us fill so welcome. Had a balcony room which was just perfect and clean and comfortable. We had two lovely meals in the evening at the bistro and were treated to 2 cooked breakfasts both morning's, the staff were so welcoming and polite and we can't wait to come back and stay again. Thank you to all who made our stay just perfect many thanks from Malcolm and Sue Paterson.

What a fantastic place. We had a great time and the food was just as amazing. The service was great and friendly staff. The room was clean and quite sufficient. There's a swimming pool etc. and of course a golf course.

Worst experience of my life we checked in around 6.30pm but they still charged us full amount which is still ok. After we left they charged $100 without our consent saying additional cleaning charge however we didn’t even cook there. Very bad customer service.

What a wonderful experience. Got a friendly warm welcome at reception by a german lady (Jenny). The golf course views are exceptional and the Lamb we had for dinner was amazing, succulent and tender. Will gladly reccommend McCracken to my friends.

Stayed here over the long weekend. Very lovely place. Rooms were big in size, TV worked well, the bed was comfy, had a spa bath but didn't use it. View from the room was spectacular, nice shower. Ample parking & Friendly staff. We had Tea and coffee making facility's within the room, however had no milk or bottled water provided. Dinner at the bistro was delicious & Breakfast was also super yummy. Smashed avo was delicious.

McCracken is a great place to stay Beautiful views, great service and a highly serviceable Bistro/Bar and even competitive Bottle Shop. 2x Tesla Charging Stations on-site was helpful also. Room, very clean and tidy, with the expected amenities. We love a really soft comfy bed, however the bed was a little firm, but still comfortable. Price extremely acceptable given the popularity of the area. Pricing for meals and drinks also very acceptable, and the quality of the meals is definitely on the plus side of standard pub fare, a very good country feed. They offer standard rooms, but also apartment style, and also 4 bedroom houses for the larger groups. Being on a golf course it also gives you prime location for a round or two, and for this trip in September, the grass and greens were in impeccable condition. Definitely coming back!

Have been to McCracken a few times and as far as the golf course goes it’s one of the better ones. The first nine have way more hazards and water, and you battle the landscape a lot more which makes it an exciting and enjoyable nine. And the back nine is more open with random bits of water so you can stretch your legs with the driver abit more if your feeling like Bryson. The greens are well looked after and there’s plenty of wildlife wandering around.

This place has one word: beautiful. The rooms are brilliantly appointed and smart, with very comfortable beds. The staff are wonderful, and they are willing to help out in any way they can. It backs on to a golf course, which is immaculately kept. This was an amazing stay. My score: 9.8/10

Went to the bistro for my dads birthday dinner, extremely disappointing. Long wait for food we wish we hadn’t eaten almost no one here and you can tell why. Quality of the food was awful and portions were minuscule. Overall really disappointing.

What an amazing place to stay , reception staff, restaurant staff , meals, cleaners of rooms , all went above and beyond with service . Meals were just delicious, had the most beautiful 3 days here ,and will definately return. You should all be congratulated you are outstanding . Thankyou again for a wonderful 3 nights stay .

Work trip. Comfortable place, great staff and good location. Stayed in the Spa Loft Room - it’s big, spacious and comfortable, however, the 2 x 2 seater couches are terribly stained and I didn’t use them. The room could do with a general “freshen up” as it looks tired. The food in the bistro is lovely and the staff were very accommodating.

They have beautiful views of the Adelaide Hills and the greenery of their Gold course. The customer service isn't very good, most of the staff are disinterested and unhelpful. Their rooms aren't fully clean, the carpets are stained and there was dust in some places. The breakfast was very average and bland. Not great variety of drinks, pastries and cereals.

Fabulous location and views, but sadly the rooms are not maintained well with stained carpets and dirty windows and glass doors. Service too is poor. Breakfast is commercial and not made to taste. Remotes in rooms not working. Sad as this club has great potential but neglected by lazy staff and poor management.

Went for a meal. The food was delicious, but... Entree, cheesey garlic bread, 15 minutes after ordering. Main course, 45 minutes after ordering. Dessert, after 50 minutes, had to ask where it was... waitress replied defensively.. it's coming, please return to your table. 7 minutes later, we received it.

Stayed mid week. Was lovely and quiet with great views across the golf course. Room was clean but looked due for a bit of TLC. Swimming pool was great and nice and warm.

First of all, the location and gardens were so beautiful and well looked after. We stayed in one of the villa’s and it was well worth the price. 3 rooms, a king size bed that was very comfy! Clean facilities, a washing and drying machine. Felt homely and comfortable. We also ate at the restaurant and the food was great, cannot complain. The service was also very good. Will be back one day! Thanks for the lovely stay. Highly recommend staying here!

We really enjoyed our night here. Staff were friendly..rooms clean and views from the balcony room were beautiful overlooking the golf course. Had dinner in the bistro and very happy with the meal. Would definitely come back 🏌‍♀️👍

Great accommodation, clean room and reception couldn't have been more helpful! I have two young children, and they were going to sleep on a fold out couch. I asked if I could get a foldaway bed and it was no problem 😊 Certainly saved me a headache with the kids fighting! Would definitely recommend

Beautifully situated in the middle of the stunning McCracken Golf course, the Country Club offers sophisticated rooms with stunning views. We stayed in one of the apartment style rooms which had all the cooking and other kitchen amenities. Very comfy beds and the bath was equipt with spa jets. Room service was an option as well as use of the gym and pool facilities.

Advertises room service for meals. When we rang up they said we had to go to restraurant to order and collect our meal because they had a major function and no room service available. It would have been nice to be advised when checking in so we could have arranged our meal previously so it didn't ruin our night. Should give us a refund for the night.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Food was sensational, thoroughly recommend the lamb shanks. My wife and I were celebrating our 50th Wedding Anniversary, and were very well looked after. We will return

Rooms could do with an upgrade but we actually extended our stay from 2 to 5 days as it was the most comfortable bed we had come across in our 2 weeks of road tripping. Easy drive to local sights, and a pleasant and calm atmosphere. Staff are super friendly and helpful, and views are a delight.

My friends and I had a great experience at McCracken Country Club. Check-in was easy and smooth, the grounds are beautiful and well kept and we had a fantastic view from our room. The room was great value for money and had everything we needed for our stay. We would definitely stay again.

We were not sure what to expect based on a few average reviews from other guests, however our 2 day stay in a 2 bedroom apartment was quite pleasant. The room & facilities were very clean & tidy, with only the odd carpet stain or paint defect that are indicative of the age of the resort. We complimented the housekeeping team personally. Our dining experience in the Bistro was outstanding. I had the oven baked Atlantic salmon one evening & the lamb shoulder the following night. Both dishes were perfect in every way & the staff were genuinely interested & cheerful in serving up an unforgettable experience. Thank you for making our stay something to remember.

I don't consider this villa value for money. Location is great, and pool and bar facilities are good, even if the restraunt is closed now. We also can't fault the cleanliness and freshness of the linen and bathrooms, and the amount of space is good. However, for $315 a night I don't expect to have coffee stained bedside tables, kitchen cupboards with peeling veneer, a leaking sink tap or stains on the carpet. There were also people walking their dogs and kids coming home from school walking right across the front of the lounge window as the property ground is not private. We plan on spending most of our 3 days here with the curtains drawn! The furniture and fittings, other than the beds, are dated and look cheap.

Nothing bad. Reception was acceptable (friendly staff). The room was cozy and comfortable. It was clean enough but the bathroom could have been cleaner though. That's a contract issue (unless they employ cleaners directly). Either way the cleaners need to be checked upon so as they don't become complacent. Had breakfast twice and dinner once during our stay. Was very happy with both the quantity and quality of the food for the price. On our last morning I was speaking with a lady in the bistro about our stay and mentioned a couple of small negatives. She had an awesome response and gave us our coffee and tea free of charge (huge shout out to her). The negatives..... For this day and age the TV should be a Smart TV not an outdated small LCD TV. There's a token DVD player but seriously, where can you even get DVD's anymore? They offer free WiFi but it's terrible so even if you brought your laptop or iPad you would struggle to get any decent streaming service like Netflix and the like. When I mentioned these issues upon check out, I was informed that the owners were planning a complete upgrade in the near future along with some renovations too. This would be a great thing because all in all it's a lovely place in a beautiful setting. We would definitely come back here again

Plenty of parking upon arrival. You can park outside reception temporarily if needed to move your belongings in. The staff at reception are super helpful and polite! Check in was easy. The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The views were great, the property is well maintained. We ordered room service during our stay. The food was really nice and the portion sizes were plentiful. It's in a good location. There's a Coles just up the road, the beach isn't far and there is a nearby wildlife park if you are looking for something to do :)

Staff were welcoming and the room was a balcony suite with gorgeous views over the golf course. The meals were good, the Cordon Bleu excellent according to partner. Definitely would stay again.

TWe had a travel auction voucher for 3 nights midweek. The room was very clean and well presented. Staff were friendly and helpful. They told us how to get to the Hindmarsh River walking trail so we walked into Victor Harbour one day. I also made use of the indoor pool and spa. We has a nice meal at the restaurant and loved the fantastic views from there.

Our 2-bedroom apartment had everything we required for our short family getaway with our 2 children. It was clean, modern, and quite spacious. The kids loved the spa bath, and we all loved the view overlooking the pond, golf course, and rolling hills. The Country Club itself had great amenities, which we all enjoyed, and the staff were very friendly & helpful.

100% the place to stay when in and around Victor Harbor. Great service, rooms are modern & of good size with great views overlooking the golf course. The restaurant is fantastic & the food was faultless. Look forward to returning again sometime soon!
