My husband, myself and our two young children (ages 3 & 2 months) just returned from an AMAZING stay at Nelson’s Cottages. We stayed for 5 nights in the Ohio cottage. Everything was perfect. The cottage was clean and well stocked. The beds were comfortable. It was cool a couple of nights but the cottage heated up nicely with the heater they provide. The cottages are rustic, quaint, and family friendly. The property is also beautiful. The sunsets are unreal and a must see. There are also kayaks, canoes, paddle boats, lawn games and a fire pit for anyone to use. We had a picnic and grilled one night using the gas grill provided. There is also a large sandbox full of toys and an adorable play set/playground my toddler son loved. The cottages are located about a 5 min walk from the center of Inlet which has a few great restaurants, a bakery, ice green and adorable shops. We loved every minute of our family getaway and can’t wait to return next year (we hope to make it an annual trip!). I highly recommend Nelson’s Cottages and the owner, Julie, is very friendly and accommodating!

So happy we found his charming little property for our week vacation in Inlet. Julie and team were extremely accommodating, and our little Rhode Isle cottage was so charming and clean. Julie was very responsive and provided anything / everything that we needed, and we found it to be super comfy and quiet for 7 great nights of sleep. We’re sad to be home after a great week at Nelson’s Cottages, and you can’t beat the value or location! We will definitely be back!

We truly enjoy every moment of every stay at Nelson's. Julie is a great host with the perfect personality to make every guest feel super welcome. The accommodations and facilities are just right for us. So much to do in the Inlet area.

Nelson's is a wonderful place to stay! The sunset views are truly spectacular, and they provide so much to do, from kayaks to ping pong. Julie could not have been more helpful and accommodating with our plans, and our little cottage was perfect. Can't wait to go back for longer next time!

We love Nelsons! The location is perfect. The property is clean, the cottages are clean. This family run business is exceptional. They go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need and check in with you without being overbearing. Our son is a fourth generation visitor. We are lucky to have an intimate, cozy vacation spot to visit in the Adirondacks. The location is walking distance to inlet. On the property you can enjoy the beautiful views on a private beach, have use of a kayak or canoe to explore the lake. The playground and children’s play area is perfect for a little ones, and the ping-pong table is perfect for the big ones and adults. We are always sad to leave When the week is done. Looking forward to our next stay in the early fall!!

Had a great stay at Nelsons for a second year in a row. The cottages are cozy and the view of the lake, especially at sunset is amazing. Couldn't recommend Nelson's cottages more and hoping to come back again next summer!

This was our first time there and it was amazing. Cottages are super cute and the beach is so clean plus spacious. Even thought the weather was not the best Julie and Tommy made sure we settled in and had everything we needed. Super knowledgeable about the town and area around. So pleased we have already booked a second trip for our anniversary in September. We even came home with some wonderful new plants from Tommy. See you soon.

My family loves Nelson’s, whether it’s for a girls’ weekend or a weekend with kids and grandkids. There is so much to do, from lawn games to swimming, fishing, or just relaxing by the water. The sunsets are spectacular and the location is perfect, just a short walk to Inlet, its parks and shops. Julie is awesome and we always look forward to our next visit. Highly recommend booking your Adirondack stay with Nelson’s!

A few years ago we tried to book cottages at Nelson’s, with no luck as they were always booked. Well one day we seen they had an opening so we booked it and so glad we did. We watched how much fun our kids had at Nelson’s and we said this is it. We have met other families at Nelson’s that have become family to us. We have been going to Nelson’s the last few years with the other families that we have met there. We also go at least 2 times a year. We are so glad we went and got to meet everyone at Nelson’s. They make you feel welcome from the time you pull in to the time you leave. If you are looking for a great vacation or if available a weekend getaway this is the place. You can even walk into town. The rooms are rustic and that is part of the charm. Once my husband and I got over the shock of sharing a double bed again, it was great! LOL Julie has packed a lot of add-ons on this property from lawn games, gas grills and kayaks (much more) at no extra cost. We loved it there and walking distance to Inlet.

We love staying at Nelsons Cottages! It’s a nice little getaway for us year after year! My kids are already talking about next year and the things they want to do!! Julie, Tommy, Ken, and Linda are all so friendly and their hospitality is amazing! That’s what keeps us coming back year after year!

Beautiful spot on 4th Lake, with a small sand beach and docks for your boat. The cottages are close together and are neat and clean, reminds you of cabins from your childhood. We had a great overnight here this fall and will enjoy coming back next year. Thanks for a wonderful experience.
