Please be very aware of this hotel’s inflexible 10 day cancellation policy. My friend got covid several days before the trip. However since it was less than 10 days out, they would let her cancel her reservation (with a positive doctor’s or pharmacy test— not an at home test), but they would not let me cancel my reservation. We spoke with the hotel on the phone and explained our situation. We told them we have two young kids at home and this was a tremendous expense and hassle for me to just sit in a hotel room by myself. We told them we would be happy to take my two night stay and on the spot book with them for 6 nights (2 rooms- 3 nights for me and 3 nights for my friend) in September. They told us no over and over. They told us I could either go on my own or I could cancel and they would take all of my $458. Then, after trying over and over to calmly explain the situation, we hung up the phone. Next thing we know, the hotel charges us the full amount and cancels my reservation. I was very much looking forward to this vacation. Now I’m left with nothing but a hefty bill, bad feelings, stress, and consternation. I couldn’t even go on the trip if I wanted to because the HOTEL cancelled my reservation. I am so disappointed and upset. Horrible policy and horrible customer service.

Some good things, but also some major disappointments, particularly with the service. The location is great, with a decent Sound beach nearby. Property is beautiful and the rooms are nice and well-appointed for the price. The complimentary breakfast offerings are simple, but delicious. Sadly, there were several problems with service. When we arrived we were given a brief tour of the property, but were not told they offered complimentary passes to access the local beach. We ended up paying the exorbitant $50 fee to park at and access the beach. Later we found out from another couple that the Inn offered beach passes. When I told the management we were not told they offered passes, they refused to comp us in any way. If it were a $10 fee for the beach, I wouldn't have cared, but to pay $50 to access a beach that we should have had free access to is too much. It is on the proprietor to make sure guests are fully informed about such comps. Other problems with the service included a complete lack of housekeeping. They didn't change sheets or towels or clean the room at all. We were told to leave garbage in the hallway if we wanted it picked up, but no one ever collected it when we did. Finally, we paid for their Perfect Together package and we were not given the chocolate truffles or mimosas that were supposed to be included with the package. Overall, it's a nice place to stay, but keep service expectations low.

Had the most perfect stay for our anniversary! We booked a night at this Inn with the idea of a nice bed and breakfast and we got so much more! The room was very clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious, but then the surprises came! When we arrived there was complementary wine and cheese, we took a complementary pontoon cruise around the harbor - captain was funny and had great local recommendations, an acoustic artist played music for us on the lawn outside, and there were complementary beach passes !! We could borrow a cooler, towels, and chairs too. All of the staff were super friendly - felt like a 5-star stay one of the best we have had (and we travel quite a bit!) thank you so much we will be back again soon 🥰

We stayed at the Inn at Harbor Hill Marina in celebration of our 11-year wedding anniversary. It was a beautiful stay with lots of special touches like the complimentary boat ride, breakfast in bed, afternoon crackers and cheese, chocolate chip cookies. It had the charm of a B+B but the cleanliness and modern feel of a very nice hotel. We would highly recommend this inn for a special occasion or any stay!

This is a little gem! Super clean , friendly staff, a wonderful complimentary wine and cheese hour as well as a fresh made breakfast. The rooms are quaint and everything is decorated beautifully. Couldn’t be a prettier setting , right in the marina . Highly recommend this Boutique style Inn!

My boyfriend and I loved our stay at this inn. The room was beautiful! The staff was warm and welcoming and breakfast was excellent. I found the bed to be a little too soft for me but my boyfriend though it was just fine. Definitely want to sat here again!

The Inn is outstanding every time. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the grounds are well kept, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the views are beautiful. I absolutely love their breakfast. They offer wine and cheese in the afternoon, fresh baked cookies in the evening, and a fridge full of water and soda. My girlfriend and I went in 2020, and I chose this place to propose to her in November 2021. Just stayed for a third time in January 2024 as husband and wife. The Inn at Harbor Hill Marina will always hold a special place in our hearts, and I can’t wait till our next visit.

I don’t know where to start. WE LOVED THIS PROPERTY! I can’t recommend this property enough. Great location. Great facilities. Great staff. Everyone in our group loved it. Wine tastings had very good Sonoma county wines. Breakfast was delicious and you had the option for room service at no additional charge. Walkable to most Niantic shops and restaurants. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

This is a cute little inn right on the harbor. The rooms have recently been renovated, the town is quaint and there is a beach.

Where to begin! My fiancé and I stayed for a night with the intention of going to a concert at Mohegan sun, which ended up getting canceled. We decided to still make the trip from NH and I’m glad we did. The inn was BEAUTIFUL. You can tell it was recently updated, very modern beach vibe and clean. When we arrived, we were given a tour of the property. The property is gorgeous. Unfortunately this time of year it was an off season and most of the boats were winterized. I can imagine it being be amazing sitting on the chairs outside enjoying a glass of wine in the warmer weather. The little touches made a big impact to us. They have breakfast, which was delicious and the staff in the kitchen were so sweet! They offer complimentary wine and cheese in the evenings, cookies at night which you can tell were baked right before they put them out, then water bottles and soda for the taking. The room was beautiful, and so clean! We never have a reason to be in this area of CT but we would definitely go back in the summer. Niantic public house and brewery we loved and we had the most amazing seafood dinner at Flanders fish market and restaurant. 100% recommend!

The most perfect bed & breakfast! You won't be disappointed if you stay here - from the complimentary pontoon boat rides, warm cookies in the evening, live music, friendly staff, amazing marina views - everything was lovely! My only complaint would be the sheets weren't soft and the window unit AC was a bit loud. But nothing that would stop me from staying here again :) Can't wait to come back!

We spent a few days here on a little mini road trip for my husband's birthday. Heads up, the inn is part of a very small town, which gets even quieter in off season. It was fine for us since the first part of out trip was new york but may not be great for everyone. However if you like beautiful views and a low key harbor side experience, this is perfect. It's worth noting that the last night here I got food poisoning (from a place in town not here!). I bring this up because, let's face it, food poisoning is not pretty but they were so kind about it. Even with that it was a wonderful experience and a place I hope to visit again in the future.

My husband and I came here on vacation, and I did not regret a minute of being there. The room was clean, and it smelled clean. However, the space was a bit cluster. We were greater in a warn and friendly manner, and throughout our stayed the entire staff was friendly. The location was heavenly. We got a room overlooking the ocean, and it was breathtaking to see the sun set.

I was there with a friend and 1 year old and we enjoyed our stay. Their service was great! ... nice warm breakfast, live music, complementary boat ride, warm cookies, cheese, drinks...so on. The room was very clean and comfy. There are so many restaurants in walkable distance. The only thing I would like a bit better is the morning coffee. Other than that, it was a great experience, and I would go back there again.

Clean rooms with drinks and ice included in the common areas. Still beautiful in the off season. Excellent breakfast and wine included with your stay during certain hours. Only negative was no fridge in the room.

Amazing stay! They are very welcoming and kind people. Rooms were spot on and very cozy, also the views of the harbour from our room were incredible. Food was beautiful and the service was 10/10. Would recommend 👍

Beautiful views of the harbor with super clean rooms. From the moment we checked in we were greeted by the front desk person who made us feel welcome and showed us around the inn. He also gave us excellent recommendations for dinner! The chef made us a tasty breakfast the next day! We couldn't be more happier with our stay. It was our first time there but it definitely won't be our last.

Had a fantastic stay at the end of January to celebrate my birthday. Lovely view of the Long Island Sound and the marina. The home cooked breakfast was a very nice touch. Don’t miss the French toast 😊

Breakfast was incredible. Room 9 is a hidden treasure. The evening pontoon ride with Captain Tom and 3-5pm wine and cheese is such a treat. Such an incredible place! Niantic is such a cute town and there’s plenty to do.

Such kind staff, amazing rooms, perfect views from all sides, delicious breakfast service, cute town. There's nothing not to love here. It's so peaceful. Just make sure you check their office hours so you don't check in too late. I love it here and will be coming again.

Hidden away in a beautiful location overlooking a marina is this delightful inn. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There are sitting areas in the garden overlooking the water and busy marina and a boardwalk not far away for strolling along the waters edge. My breakfast was delicious which was enjoyed outside on their spacious balcony. Staff are friendly and professional.

Absolutely lovely B&B right on the water. When we arrived, we were given a tour of the buildings and shown how to work the tricky lock! The room was immaculate with a cozy fireplace, comfy sitting area and gorgeous soaking tub. Breakfast was made to order and delicious in the small dining room, but we also had the option of having it brought to our room! Niantic village is adorable and within walking distance.

This was the most relaxing vacation we’ve been on. The Inn was absolutely amazing, beautiful grounds, friendly staff, large rooms, plenty of space to find a sitting area alone. We stayed in room 17, it was spacious and private, there was another room across the hall, but you couldn’t even hear our TV in h the hallway with the door closed. The bed was a little too soft for my preference but, honestly that was the only thing that I didn’t absolutely love about this location and it it wasn’t that bad. The inn offers ice, free soda and water any in the common area any time. There is also complimentary wine and cheese from 3:30-5pm daily, fresh baked cookies in the evening and delicious breakfast made to order that you can even get as room service if you prefer not to go to the dining area or any of the outdoor tables. The marina is a beautiful view and the Inn offers a nice 45 minute pontoon ride out of the marina down the river. The location is very convenient, there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance from the Inn, and many more within a 10-20 minute ride. The beach is about a 2 minute drive from the Inn, a little far to walk but it’s possible if you don’t mind a 15 minute walk. If I could give more stars, honestly I would, this is better then any other B&B I’ve ever been to.

This hotel and marina is very nice, but unfortunately is run by extremely rude and disheartening people. They kicked us out of the marina because my mom inquired about why there was no handicap space. This establishment is run by a bunch of low life’s and I am extremely ashamed by how management chooses to deal with the disabled community.

(Stay 11/27/21-11/28/21) Really beautiful hotel! Great service! Breakfast was soooo good and the two women working in the kitchen were amazing! Gentleman at the front desk was super nice! We absolutely loved and will definitely be back! Thank You (:

This place is amazing! The view from our room was breathtaking! All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and we loved the option of having our breakfast in our room where we could eat on the balcony in the most comfy robes!

Amazing views, very clean and modern rooms, and the family who runs the inn are the nicest people ever. We will definitely be returning. (waking up for the sunrise is a must -- incredible!!)

Great time. Very COVID safe. Breakfast was switched from a buffet to sit down and the service was great. Rooms were comfy and clean with great views. Would stay again.

The inn was a quiet oasis, a much needed reprieve from the craziness of life. It was a lovely place to spend our anniversary and be able to relax and enjoy. Wish we could've stayed longer!

We live nearby but wanted to recharge for a few days. We’d never stayed here before, but will absolutely return. The grounds are well kept and the Marina view is gorgeous. The staff is so friendly. We had breakfast both in the dining room and delivered to our room. Both were excellent. A variety of good restaurants are within walking distance. Just a great place to “get away” and relax.
