Amazing dresses. Have been going to Shangri-la for 11 years. Both Oscar and Josephina are amazing people...very welcoming, helpful, knowledgeable, friendly people. Their dresses from semi-formal to formal are absolutely gorgeous...very hard to choose from. Josephina, the seamstress, does amazing work...all these years, I have not once been disappointed and nor have my Girls.

This is a wonderful boutique dress shop. Most sizes fit the smaller range, my girls were debutante and most of these dresses were sophisticated. We did find beautiful silhouettes and purchased here as well. This stores came high recommended by many girls in our home town. It seemed people came from all over to purchase. Alterations were 3 weeks out. Weekends during the spring are very busy. They sales team were accommodating, complimentary. And very personable. Worth the price we paid.

I came in to Shangri-la Dresses because I needed a gown for a broadway opening in 2 weeks. I came with my mom and they were so kind and helpful during my visit. During my second visit they were equally great and had done amazing with the alterations!! My dress came out beautifully and I got SO many compliments the night of the event. I couldn't believe I was getting so many compliments and lost count of how many times someone said they loved my dress (I got even more compliments than I got on my wedding dress! lol). What an absolute delight it was to come to this boutique! Soooo many beautiful dresses to to choose from. Oscar was so helpful with the dress try ons, how they looked in different lighting, different options with similar styles, sizing. Just an all around experience. I will 1000% be back and recommend Shangri-la to all of my friends and family ❤️

We had the best time tonight at your store! We were in there shopping for my daughter’s prom dress. Mary helped us with several dresses and was very attentive to my daughter. She tried on about 7-8 dresses and we ended up purchasing a beautiful royal blue ball gown. Mary made her feel like a princess! Mary is a gem and complete asset to you and she made our shopping trip so fun! What a fantastic experience!!

I would Highly recommend this store they have beautiful dresses, Oscar was very friendly and would always try to find a way to help me and my bridesmaids out. I walked in looking for Bridesmaids dresses for my wedding and Oscar helped me very well throughout the whole process he even gave me a discount on each dress for my bridesmaids and also offered layaway to them. I would definitely go back with him again.

Went there with my mom and sisters to find dresses for my brothers wedding and fell in love with the ones we chose! The lady was super helpful and the man was very nice and helped us as well with our payments. Definitely gonna come here again if I ever need another dress.

I purchased a gown for my daughters sweet 16 Birthday Party. My daughter was so happy with the experience and the dress. The customer service is amazing! Highly recommend this store to anyone needing a dress for a special occasion.

I took my girlfriend here after looking at 5 other places for dresses and not finding what we were looking for. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. The staff was very professional asking us many questions for what exactly we are looking for. Soon after they brought out several dresses to choose from. And after everything we walked out with a dress we both liked. It was black, sexy, and nothing super over the top. And the plus was it worked with my budget and I really appreciate all the help the staff did for us. I would highly recommend. Thank you.

I live out of town and had difficulties finding a dress in my area. I found my dress Jan of this year. While the employees had great customer service. The seamstress absolutely ruined my dress. I explicitly told her various times as well as provided reference photos of what I wanted. Every time I traveled 4 hours to review the alterations nothing was done as I requested. She took off an excessive amount of my train took 2 weeks to do every set of alterations requested. Always appeared rushed as if she did not have time to meet with me. In purchasing my dress 4 months ago now that I am 3 weeks from the wedding I had to get the dress shipped to me because again I did not have another 2 weeks to wait for alterations. When I received my dress she put a string to hold my sleeves to my dress and the sleeves were not made to cover my arms but were placed to cover my elbows. Why she would think I wanted sleeves to cover my elbows is beyond me. All I can say is that if you purchase a dress from here make sure it is one that fits perfectly with no needed alterations. I'm very disappointed and feel like my maid of honor dress has been ruined.

Absolutely loved our experience here. We had to get a dresses for my sisters wedding and the manager was so kind and patient. We got 5 dresses for bridesmaids and I got a beautiful dress for my maid of honor dress. We went to so many places and this was the best in San Antonio! We will definitely be coming back.

Was unimpressed by the customer service. I walked in and there was no one to greet me. I perused the gowns for a bit and still no one came over to offer me help with anything. I was looking for a floor length gown for a wedding. This was my first time there. Perhaps they were short staffed that day but it did not leave me with a good first impression. I left shortly after not being helped by anyone. You’d think they would have someone to greet their customers given that the customers are about to spend a good amount of money on a dress. Again, not a good first impression.
