We went for breakfast today. The food was not good at all. The selection of breakfast items were awful. The food was not hot and didn’t have much taste. Worst Golden Corral I’ve been to. That usually means the manager isn’t taking care of business. The one good thing was, the staff was excellent.

This place was packed. The chairs are so close to each other ! I think as soon as my neighbor blew air out,I was breathing it in. No precautions taken by staff such as gloves or mask. Food sneeze guard useless as most people leaned down to look under it or get their food. Kids of course were at eye level with food laughing ,talking and one unsupervised child sneezed twice- into the food. I'm never going back.i can think of a million other ways to get botulism other than here.

Good selection and, unlike some other golden corrals, I really enjoyed everything I tried here.

Food was horrible and did not have good flavor, texture, tempature or look visibly appealing. Some were cold and not supposed to be and some where too hot to eat, sweet tea had went bad and when said something the lady at register was rood about it. Even the salad bar was nasty.. the ranch dressing did not tast anything like ranch and the cheese tasted and had a texture of wax!! This was no way worth 17.50 for one meal for just me. This was not even worth 10.00 The only positive was the waitress was amazing friendly and very helpful.

I like the buffet. I was able to eat pretty healthy. I also like the fact I could study while I ate. Their pot roast and mashed potatoes and gravy are delicious. I will be going back for sure.

Food was tasteless, bland and cold. Selection was not what it use to be. And way overpriced. Almost 100 bucks for 4 people. I could have paid that at a way better place

This place had gone downhill….way down hill. The prices are jacked and yet we now serve ourselves with everything. Service is bad, restaurant is always filthy. We won’t be back. It is not worth the money they charge now for sure. Maybe they should use some of that money for a cleaning staff?

Terrible experience. Tried a little if everything and nothing was good at all except maybe the soups. Definitely got some food poisoning and may have been from the steak that smelt like fish when handling the juices from meat. Never going back.

The waitress was amazing. She was attentive, not overbearing, and smiled a lot. She was the best part of the experience! As far as the food, well, who hasn't been to Golden Corral!!

The environment is nice. They accommodate children well. They need to carry milk in addition to other juices. Could do better on food quality but we don't have many options on buffets out here . Will be back

This is one of my favorite restaurants. Their salmon is so good I love their mashed potatoes I love their red cake I love their friendly service I love their salad bar I love their EVERYTHING!!!! OH YEAH I LOVE THEIR MACCARONI AND CHEESE I LOVE THEIR ROLLS AND THEIR STEAK!

Only had one unattentive waitress to the point I didn't leave a tip. But for the majority of my visits the wait staff get great tips. Love the variety of food and service

Dirty atmosphere. Crowded tables. Waitress offered us another table after cleaning one. Nice waitress. Food was undercooked. Undercooked fried fish. Potatoes were not tender. Carrots and brocoli was not tender either. Some of the food was good though!

First I must say the staff at Golden Corral has always been very polite and attentive to customers needs. To say the least we have been going to this particular location in San Angelo since moving here. However a few months back there were a couple of times that my wife and felt that the quality of food was not up to par. In writing in their app to corporate office I brought these issues up and was very impressed on how quickly they responded. Encouraging us to try them again after addressing the issues and why this five star rating. Becuse how often do you hear of a corporate office responding and actually caring for their customers, seeing to it that these issues were addressed? Nevertheless, during our visit the food was fresh and well maintained. The catfish in my personal opinion is to die for. The best in town as far as I am concerned along with all the side dishes as well. The steak and ribs are great, having as well usually two to three typs of chicken available. We also went for breakfast one Saturday. The made to order omlet is excellent along with everything one could imagine for breakfast, they had it. We will be going to Golden Corral often because everyone gets what they want at a reasonable price. And don't forget to ask for the senior discount !

I love this place my favorite place to take my kids to eat we go here often they are friendly staff thank you guys for making us feel welcomed.

Who doesn't like an all you can eat buffet. I had fried fish, salmon, and a chicken dish that I went back for seconds for. I also had chocolate covered strawberries, an icee, and a piece of chocolate cake. Nice wait staff, always a step ahead of clearing dishes, and refilling your drink.

Popped in around 8pm with a party of 20.....the staff welcomed us in with a smile.... The food was great as always, and the service was outstanding!! Totally recommend this location for your dining needs...... EVEN with large parties Thanks to y'all for a great meal to end our Friday evening with

I remember now why we've avoided Golden Corral soo long. The food is just heated in bags then thrown into a heating pan. $60 for 2 adults and 2 children not too bad for a buffet. Won't be going back

Went for Thanksgiving since I didn't feel like cooking for just my mom & I. They were busy, but we did not have a long wait. They had a great selection of traditional Thanksgiving Day dishes. Everything was fresh and they did a great job of keeping everything available. The server was attentive and provided assistance quickly when needed. There was no rush for tables to be turned over. It was a good price, cheaper than buying everything and the labor intense preparation!

I came here a couple of months ago and they did decently for lunch. I went today for breakfast, and was disappointed. - Rotted mold smell around the bathrooms. - Soggy waffles and hashbrowns. - Coffee was burnt. The waitress was nice and eggs were good. Fruit was decent, but those are basica. That is the only reason this review isn't a one star. I will be giving it a few months if I try coming back.

The customer service here was exceptional, the food was good but not great hence the reason there are only 4 stars

Really good food and service

Good comfort food. The dessert bar was amazing too. My mother-in-law and I enjoyed the Senior Special which included our iced tea.
