It
is
always
unpleasant
to
have
to
make
a
public
complaint
about
a
small
business,
it
is
done
reluctantly
but
is
necessary.
On
the
1st
of
December
I
made
my
first
visit
to
this
salon
and
had
a
good
experience.
I
made
a
follow-up
appointment
for
some
treatments
on
the
21st
of
December.
In
the
intervening
period
I
suffered
a
fractured
femoral
neck
and
cannot
drive,
walk,
or
go
out
for
anything
other
than
medical
appointments
for
three
months
while
this
injury
heals.
In
the
week
before
Christmas
I
contacted
the
salon,
informed
the
receptionist
about
the
situation
and
asked
if
it
would
be
possible
to
keep
the
appointment
for
one
of
the
treatments,
a
pedicure,
at
home.
The
receptionist
was
very
helpful
and
assured
me
that
it
would
be
possible
but
only
after
Christmas
when
the
business
re-opened
because
they
needed
to
make
time
in
the
appointment
book
for
a
home
visit.
I
really
appreciated
this
accommodation
because
proper
foot
care
at
this
time
is
difficult
due
to
my
limited
mobility.
I
gave
the
receptionist
all
of
my
details
including
my
address
and
was
assured
that
my
appointment
and
the
arrangements
were
confirmed.
Yesterday
when
I
received
the
appointment
reminder
for
today
I
sent
a
WhatsApp
confirming
my
availability,
sent
a
map
pin
with
my
address
and
asked
for
confirmation
that
the
home
visit
appointment
was
still
confirmed.
There
was
no
reply.
I
called
the
salon
this
morning
to
establish
if
the
arrangements
were
still
in
place
and
after
two
phone
calls
and
a
WhatsApp
message
the
receptionist
told
me
that
she
had
not
schedule
the
appointment
as
a
home
visit
and
that
it
therefore
could
not
go
ahead
as
scheduled.
When
I
asked
why
she
had
not
made
the
arrangements
that
she
had
assured
me
would
be
made
her
response
was
that
she
didn't
know
and
all
that
she
could
say
was
"sorry".
I
was
asked
if
I
could
accommodate
a
later
appointment
today
or
next
week
and
explained
why
that
would
not
be
possible.
If
I
had
known
that
the
salon
was
going
to
be
so
unreliable
I
would
have
made
arrangements
with
another
establishment.
Extremely
disappointing.
Needless
to
say,
I
won't
be
returning
to
Sherbet
Angel
when
I
am
back
on
my
feet.
