The best Spur we've been to in years, truly a cut above the rest. The food, service, establishment and playground deserves an all-round five stars. We had the cheddarmelt rump (good man-sized cut), Buffalo wings and mushrooms and for the littles, waffles and ice cream. All dishes were beautifully served and so so tasty. Our drinks were also well presented with all the trimmings of mint, lemon etc.. Kids had a ball in the play area and were safely tagged and alarms went off if they moved out the front area. They also had 2 lovely ladies minding the children. Stunning place, we can't wait to return 😀

When the kids are grumpy and hungry, this particular spur always pulls the mood back up … I love that the kids get to play, and this spur has a proper separate drinks menu (better than the normal spur menu) … Spurs veg options have grown over the years … love it !

We were VERY impressed with this Spur. Wow old school is back and up the game. The food was so so delicious and amazing. Extra spoils for the kids with their waffles and ice cream with all sorts of toppings. The play area was so clean well looked after, the kids get tags as not to be taken outside the Spur. Drinks were amazing. Overall super impressed. We found our new fav. Well done !!

Went to this Spur for a birthday dinner and it didn’t disappoint. The atmosphere at this Spur is lovely and very family friendly + it looks really nice. From when we arrived the service was good, our waitress was sweet and quick, loved that for us! We ordered the ribs, and durky thighs and the cheddamelt steak- the food was really delicious. I usually have the durky wings as a starter but, the addition of durky thighs to the menu makes sense because the durky sauce is amazing and I loved the durky thighs, so good. We ordered Stella drafts to drink and shots to celebrate and I mean you can’t go wrong with alcohol from the bottle. Thumbs up from me!

A great experience. It was our first time here and really enjoyed the food. I had the nachos and finished off with a half portion chocolate brownie. Friendly service too. It was a bit chilly so we sat inside. Looking forward to coming back in warmer weather and sitting outside.

The restaurant looks fantastic, it’s super family friendly and the staff are always smiling. There is a large kids play pen with lots of kids running around the restaurant. The vibe is great. Food tasted good and service was on point. I only had an issue with the size of the ribs, they were skinny and didn’t have a lot of juicy rib meat. I would only recommend coming with your family as the kids can be a bit much running up and down.

Tulsa Spur is shared with Garden Court which is located close to South road on the upper side of Rivonia road. I had a 450g steak on the bone cooked medium. As a lunch time meal it really packs a punch. Steak was superbly cooked with a great crust on the fatty bits especially with famous BBQ basting sauce. For desserts I also had the nuts, ice cream and chocolate mousse top with fresh cream that was an excellent ending to the meal. This place has a great vibe and it's a place where your kids can play safely under supervision while you unwind with great cocktails and food. They also do a fabulous breakfast. If you have nothing to do this Xmas visit these guys for a meal and enjoy the atmosphere. Btw ask for Thandie she is an awesome waitress

Really an awesome family Spur! Our favourite of all spurs! The kiddies play area is huge and has a little bit of everything. Perfect for rainy and sunny days. They put a tag on your child … and should they leave the front door.. it will beep. This gives you just an extra peace of mind. We love it here… and the kids love it even more!

Gone are the days of the infamous "devils fork" and the delectable salad bar from good old days Spur. We can deal with that, but sadly, our last visit confirmed that almost all the meat at Spur is basted in a sweet sauce. Spur steaks used to be succulent and actually tasted like meat. The nachos crisps have also been replaced with a much thinner crisp. Ladtly, we paid extra for a double burger for my husband, who was very hungry after a full day out in the wilderness. I had a single burger. When our plates arrived, my single burger was not only larger but also seemed to have more fillings. The manager, whom I kindly approached, reverted to blaming the waitress for not telling us that the double burgers are a mere 60g heavier than single burgers. I assured the manager that we could read, but that the point was that my husband's burger, which cost more, actually looked like less, and the patties on the double burger were clearly unappetizing. Why are customers paying more at many food outlets and getting a whole lot less! In the photos below, the bigger burger is the single burger. Sad.

I am incredibly impressed with the quality of this Spur. After my burger arrived, I asked if they wouldn’t mind just cooking it a bit more and not only did it come back fresh and well-cooked, I got all my sides again even though I had eaten them already. The service is amazing - kind staff and a manager who sweeps the floor. Food was so fresh and delicious.
